Please don't order from this company or any versions of this company. I was promised a full refund for my Captain America costume order. I specifically ordered my items with A representative on the phone. I asked many questions about the mask and the shield that I wanted to order. Everything that was told to me was not true when I finally received my purchase. I was promised a full refund which was not provided. I contacted my bank because The half price refund that I received was not acceptable. Through the bank I was able to get the full refund that I was promised from the very beginning after talking to five representatives from the company including Pat and Sue over and over again. I was very worried after placing an order for my daughter's Halloween costume and reading the reviews. However it was the only online place I could find that had her size and they didn't have any child Ghostbuster costumes in Large anywhere in stores around here or nearby. I was very relieved to have it arrive today and it was exactly as pictured / expected. I was able to track the package through UPS. I ordered on the 21st and it arrived on the 25th (I live in Massachusetts). I don't know if my experience is more typical and others don't bother writing reviews, but since there are just negative ones thought I would put one out there since I had no trouble with my purchase. read more

This company is a scam, do not order from here!!!! I can't believe they still exist, I ordered from the company, not product ever came, sent other notes and they said "it was in the mail". After a few months they said they didn't have the order, even though I sent proof of credit card charge. Normally I do not go out of my way to give a horrible review unless the company was absolutely awful. Congratulations to Official Costumes for fitting into that category. My family and I were dressing up as the Justice League for Halloween and I was super excited. I had ordered all the other costumes from a different site but for my husband's Flash costume I went with this company because they had one that matched my needs. I ordered it and it came about a week before Halloween. My husband is not a big guy. He is 5'10" and weighs about 150. I would say he is probably on the smaller scale of an average guy. Usually I would order him a small but the suit was pictured as being a skin tight suit so I decided to go with a medium just to give him some leeway. He tried on the suit and it was ridiculously ill fitting. It ride up into his crotch area so much that he would be highly embarrassed to leave the house. The material was also very thin and the costume was baggy everywhere else other than his crotch. I paid around 48 dollars for this costume with a coupon so I was not expecting this amazing quality but I figured it would have at least been sized somewhat correctly. My husband is not what I would consider tall so I do not know how they expect any regular sized medium build to fit into that size of a costume. It would have maybe worked for someone who was under the 5'5" range which is not usually an average height for a man. My husband tried it on the same day I received it and when we found out it would not fit I called customer service that day. I talked to a man on the phone who was very apologetic and said I could return it and get a full refund minus 10% restocking. I asked about the no Halloween refunds but he assured me that was not an issue. I sent it out a couple of days later. After I sent out the costume I finally got a refund one month after. The refund was for $6.50. I emailed customer service and they told me that there were no refunds for costumes ordered in the month of October. I explained to her about the conversation I had with the customer service representative and she told me that unless I had a log of that conversation they could not do anything. I had payed through paypal and so I knew I could file a dispute but it is a bit of a hassle to file one so I wanted to avoid doing it. I emailed her and let her know that I would accept a partial refund of at least $25 total to avoid filing a dispute. I felt this was reasonable as it was barely over half of what I paid. She did not even both to email me back so I went forward with the dispute. After filing the dispute Paypal decided in my favor and I was issued a full refund. I am so disappointed with the company and had they settled with me it would have worked in their favor. Overall I would say be very wary of buying from this site and if you do decide to buy go through paypal because they can protect your purchase. read more

"Awful! Ordered this costume, received confirmation email, then about an hour later I received another email saying that the item was out of stock. I called amazon to confirm that this order would be canceled since my checking account had already been debited TWICE for the amount of $31.69. The first charge was credited back the next day. The seller said I would have to wait for the costume to arrive and then mail it back before I could get a refund. It didn't ship until five days later!!! This order was placed August 27th I shipped the costume back September 10th and it was delivered to their warehouse September 14th (today is September 23rd...). I've yet to receive a refund. Will be calling AGAIN today... Not pleased and customer service is difficult. Save your time!!!" read more
