Had this at jazz in the park last Sunday. The lady that was working was EXTREMELY rude! She seemed offended when I didn't want their special sauce because I don't like mayo, she wrenched my credit card out of my hand when I was too slow to insert it in the pay reader, and my friend told me she made a face at me after I asked for mustard as I was walking away. Not worth the $15 burger plus $3 tip. There's 30 other food trucks at jazz in the park, I'd recommend any other truck. I won't be going back. read more

This green truck serves up a variety of burgers and fries. I tried the Mexican burger (guacamole, onions, jalapenos, hot sauce), plus a batch of fries. By far the best thing was the fries - they tasted fresh and salty. The burger as OK. The patty didn't blow me away and in fact tasted kinda pre-formed frozen (grass fed or not!). The guac tasted store bought and the rest was unremarkable. OG Burgers..... This is based on Hubs review though I had a bite of the OG Burgers you offered to us on September 13th 2012 @ Civic Center Eats. Hubs opt for the Beef Burger Well-Done with Slab of Cream Cheese, Sriracha Sauce, Jalapeno and Fries ($10.25). It took about 10 mins or so for Hubs order to be done while we wait. Even Hubs said the Burger was just A-OKAY... More like 3.25 stars in our books and there are definitely room for improvements... Another good thing, OG Burgers accept Credit Cards for any purchases. Great service, friendly people. We felt welcome and enjoyed the atmosphere. However, the burgers were small for the price and while they said they would honor requests to have toppings removed, we received our burgers all as-is with everything on them. Patties are maybe a 1/4 pound pre-cooked, well-done. Fries were crispy though, very well salted. OG Burger came out towards 4 Noses Brewery in Broomfield so I felt the price was rather high for the quantity and quality, but if I was in Downtown Denver nearer the Convention Center, the price would be a little closer to reasonable. We had Zac's food truck, burgers and tacos at our daughters wedding; the food was great, services was really good and quick. Communication with Zac was amazing. He was always quick to respond and was just very easy to work with. The guests all raved about the food. I highly recommend using them at any event you might have. read more

Went to Northern carnival and food truck this weekend and decided to order from OG BURGER. Can't believe how rude the older lady taking orders was! I ordered 3 burgers and a tray of fries and asked for 2 of the sauces to be on the side instead of on the burger. She giggled shook her head and sucked her teeth and said really!! THAN Another lady handed me my food and said I just added the fries to one of the hamburgers. Instead of a tray that I ordered. I will admit that I have not paid for anything from OG, just tried half of my SO burger she ordered. To set the scene it was an amazing Wednesday in June, and if you like to do things in Denver you know it is Denver Cruisers night. Well after a seemly 5 mile bike ride to get to the end point this Burger truck was at the end of the rainbow. Sure I had a few drinks, but I don't think that could have made me hallucinate how crisp and light these fries were with light seasoning. Delicious. I then split the burger with my SO, and I can truly say that cream-cheese and Siracha on a burger is exactly what needed to happen to me that night. We tried it once more the next week while park on Tennyson, the fries were a little less crispy, but overall it was still a great experience. Recommended. read more

Had the Peyton manning slider. Would rate my experience taste wise as ok. I enjoyed the flavorful combination and could tell it was made to order but there just wasn't enough meat to be had, even for a slider... Add a couple more ounces of meat to your sliders and you guys will be golden. Currently, the bun and the toppings overwhelm the small patty you're making. After months of craving their 'Denver Burger' (cream cheese & green chilis) after having tried one at the circle of death on a Wednesday night cruiser ride and telling all of our friends about it, my girlfriend and I were anxious to try them again. We went to the last day of Civic Center Eats because we had seen that on OG Burgers' website that they were going to be there. Hooray! My girlfriend ordered and was excited because the guy working had said there were only 3 burgers left. So she ordered the burger along with a side of fries. So we waited... and waited.... and waited some more. Both of us went up separately to ask if the order had been lost. "No, you are coming right up!" So we waited some more, now we begin to notice everyone (10-15 people) are waiting too. One pour girl had to wait 45 minutes for a veggie burger, 'hey aren't those pre-cooked to begin with?' Food carts are supposed to be a quick bite particularly when most of the people work downtown get 30-60 minutes for lunch. Anyhow after about 40 minutes we finally get our burger which was DRIED OUT and fries that were over salted we decided we wouldn't be going back again. Worst part was because our 1 burger had taken so long, I had a parking ticket on my car when I got back to it making it nearly a $40 lunch!! I'm a long way from home. Houston, Texas is where I was born. The everlasting psuedo motto of "Everything is bigger in Texas" is not a lie. This burger is tiny. Head up to the Civic Center eats and have a burger without the, as made famous by 5-Hour energy slogan,"that two oclock feeling." As for the burger itself - its nice, not thrilling, but nice. I have ordered the Mexican burger a couple of times and it comes loaded with cilantro, jalapenos, onions, and guacamole. The burger itself is defunct, when comparing it to the likes of Tag Burger or of any of its cross state competitors in Texas. WE NEED MORE FLAVOR GUYS! Fries are great, but really, unless its from a fast food place can you really mess up fries? Only real issue I have with this place is the wait time. I hate mentioning this because yelp (for me) is more useful when you are reviewing the food itself, not the service, but as I was standing there for 10 minutes at the Civic Center in the heat waiting for my burger, I couldn't help but think "I should have just ordered from somewhere else", and why the hell don't they beef up (punny) their beef line. They know they are going to have a bunch of people come by, act accordingly. One big thing I look for in a hamburger is the what it's seasoned with and if it's not seasoned with anything, is the burger meat at least flavorful. If it wasn't for it being loaded with cream cheese, the rating might have dropped another star. OG Burgers has been a staple of Civic Center Eats since at least last year. I've passed their truck dozens of times, never really considering them since a burger seemed like the kind of lunch that would put me to sleep at my desk a few hours later. But when I met my husband for lunch today, he had a craving for a burger, and OG is where we wound up. To sum up our experience: OG Burgers = OMG Good! Hubby got the Denver Delight, which comes with jalapeno, cream cheese and siracha sauce. I had the Peyton Manning, which had Swiss cheese, mushrooms and basil mayo. Neither of us got the fries, though they have them if you're so inclined. The wait was a bit longer than some trucks, maybe 7-8 minutes, but that's because they made the burgers fresh, which is a good trade-off for me. Both burgers were fabulous! To be honest I may give the edge to the Denver Delight as the best of the two, because while my burger was delicious, all that cheese made it a little greasy. The Denver Delight had the perfect amount of heat and cream cheese and was amazing. OG Burger uses beef that is 100% grass fed, which really seems to make a difference in the quality. Whether or not I'm asleep at my desk in an hour is yet to be seen. However I can tell you for sure that I cannot stop thinking about those amazing OG burgers, and I will be back again. read more

Ate here for the first time during Jazz in the Park the other night. To be quite honest I was a little skeptical about the truck. "OG?" Hm. I was wrong though. These burgers are hands-down the best in Denver. I only live here on and off, but next time I am here in the summer, I will make sure to hit this place up again...as long as they are open. When it comes to burgers, I always prefer bacon (hell yeah Killer Burger PDX). I went for the Payton Manning, with the addition of Bacon. Pretty freaking good here. Up there with my other favorites. It works nicely. These guys are sometimes seldom seen, but search them out when you can. Its an oasis in a sea of mediocrity of Denver Burgers. read more

This place was awesome. My friends and I went here because they were at the Food Truck Safari at the zoo last night and I am so glad I ate here. I was hesitant at first because I was thinking that I'd probably get a hockey puck but I didn't. The burger itself was actually very pink and was also very juicy within and was just awesome. I had the Denver Delight and holy moly was that burger good.it has sriracha, a slab of cream cheese, and jalapenos on it. There weren't enough jalapenos in my opinion but I was very much surprised at how good the burger from here was. The fries were also very good. They were fried to a great crisp and weren't soggy at all. My friend got the Ricky Bobby and she said that it was also an awesome burger and that it was also pink inside and tasted phenomenal. That one was made up of cheese, bacon, bbq sauce, pickles, and onions and looked really good as well. They got the food out very quickly as well for the size of line they had when we ordered and I was very pleased with how the quality was for how quickly they got it out to us. They are a bit pricey but man the food you get is worth it. For the burger, small fry, and the drink it ended up being $15 and change but like I said It was worth every penny. Thanks to the Arvada Arts & Ales, I was able to experience the OG! The burger was fresh and very delicious. The fries were massive, as well (I just had a small and it fed three of us). The food was reasonably priced as well. In all honesty, for what I received, I would have paid more.
