BEST MEAL IVE HAD IN DENVER!! We are from Chicago so to be honest, traveling can be difficult when it comes time to eat. Not only did the food raise the bar for other places in the area, the fries were some of the best we've ever had period. lol Staff was amazing and super accommodating not only to us but other patrons! It's been a minute since I've been to hopdoddy but was really craving a burger with fries, so ended up here for dinner! Ordered the wagyu Cadillac burger (5/5) and it was just perfect. Juicy, flavorful, perfect size. The hot honey and sage sweet potato fries were also amazing (5+/5). You'd think that the fries would be soggy with the sauce but they were not. Not only were they delivered piping hot, but they were crispy for a good half hour. There's some heat to it because of the hot honey but not spicy imo. Easy to find a table around 6:30 pm on a weeknight and conveniently located near union station. This will definitely be a stop when I'm in Denver. read more

Dropped in here while taking the train to the airport. I love a patty melt so I ordered the Doddy Melt because it said it was made with two smash burgers. As you can see from the pictures, they are thin patties, but definitely not smash burgers which by definition start out with a ground ball of meat which is smashed on the grill. Smash patties and then have uneven edges which would give it the charred flavor. Service was good. Ambience is very nice. Pricing is very reasonable for downtown Denver. Definitely worth a visit if you're traveling through Union Station and need a quick bite you wanna get out of the station. read more

Hopdoddy Burger Bar is an old standard we have not frequented in years but was quick and convenient to our location. It was a late lunch and we decided to try a chain restaurant in Denver. This is not our normal MO. We ordered from a disinterested cashier that maybe uttered 2 words and never smiled. This could be a bad choice, hope not. We sat down at a high booth near the window to people watch on a cold Denver day. Our food arrived quickly and was nicely presented. The goodnight / good cause burger with cheddar, BBQ sauce, mayo, caramelized onions, jalapeno peppers, lettuce and tomatoes was beautifully presented. A hint of pink indicated it was cooked to order. Our burger was delicious, not over-stuffed and had a unique flavor enticing you to have another bite. The hot honey and sage sweet fries were piping hot and had INCREDIBLE FLAVOR! Hopdoddy Burger Bar was a delicious treat. The food was flavor packed, perfectly cooked and the hot honey fries were OVER-THE-TOP GREAT. It is unusual for us to go out of town and try a chain restaurant, but Hopdoddy Burger Bar hit the spot. The cashier needs to learn to communicate or stock supplies in the back out of customer view. They have some happy hour but they try and make you sit at the bar seat, which are super limited. And, seriously the patio should be included. What is more casual than the patio? We also had the Cadillac Wagyu, which was way more interesting- loved the house made pickles and crispy onions for some extra texture, and the aioli added really nice flavor. I was reccomended this restaurant by my brother in law, who is a vegetarian, but he loved their impossible burger and told me his friends liked the real burgers so I decided to try this place out. Upon entry, it had a nice fast casual vibe and with it conveniently located between Union Station and Coors Field, it definitely feels like the perfect place to grab a bite after the game on your way home. I order their special Chicken Tika burger and a side of truffle fries to share with my friends. I'm not a very big fry person but these were definitely some of the tastiest truffle fries ive tried. There was plenty of flavor and for once, these truffle fries actually tasted unique and not just like ordinary fries. My Chicken Tika burger was packed with flavor and had the perfect amount of sauce. The rice patty that is served in the burger alongside the chicken perfectly compliments this combo and the sauce combination in general just works really well! If you're looking for a casual lunch or dinner place, that is also priced fairly, I'd reccomend looking no further than here. They have definitely won over a new customer. Not a fan of wet lettuce and mayo directly at the bottom over a thin bottom bun. When I got my burger the bottom bun was already soaking wet sitting in a pool of watery lettuce/mayo which made it impossible to pick up without it immediately leaking and falling apart. Located next to the Union Station, Hopdoddy is a self seating restaurant. You order your food and drinks at the counter, find a seat and wait for your food to be bright to your table. We arrived on a Friday afternoon, so it was fairly busy. There are high table tops and bar seating available. You can also watch a game, they have multiple TVs. I love mushroom so it was a no brainer that I would order their Magic Shroom Burger 9/10. The buffalo fries were so good! 10/10. Drinks were okay 7/10. Street Parking is available but limited. I did not realize how pink it would be and we had to return it for them to remake it. Customer service was amazing to understand and remade both our hamburgers. Hopdoddy is located right next to Union Station which is a cool area with a bunch of things to do. There are plenty of places to eat around there but Hopdoddy really stands out for burgers both for the quality of the food and their service. I've tried a few burgers here and they were all great! I specifically really enjoyed the Thunderbird (see image attached) which is a grinded chicken sandwich with peppers and guac. The fries here always taste fresh as well. Another thing to mention is that they do a great job staffing at Hopdoddy. I've never had a bad experience with service at least at this location with helpful and kind servers/cashiers every time I visit. I will be stopping by again! read more

My husband brought me takeout from Hopdoddy the other night and I loved it, even though it was cold by the time I got home. First, great veggie burger! I really enjoyed the unique flavors of the toppings. The fries were also yummy, even though I had to reheat them (I was too hungry to be bothered with reheating the burger, but it didn't matter).
