Called ahead to set everything up, gave them my pickup time, and when I checked in a few days before the trip out of pure travel anxiety, they had me down for the exact time I'd given them. Driver showed up right on the dot. The vehicle was a big clean SUV, plenty of room for luggage, and the ride to the airport was smooth and safe the whole way. Got dropped off right at the door we needed, which matters when you're pulling bags out at a busy terminal. The part I appreciated most was the billing. They invoiced me after the trip, so there was no scrambling for a card or working out a tip with the driver in the moment. Zero hassle on departure day, which was the whole point. When I called Michael, he gave me his price and told me that tax and gratuity were additional. I asked him what the gratuity was and he said 20%. After all the shopping around, they were the cheapest, so I went with Excell Limos. Michael showed up 10 minutes early (one star for that). However when he got there, he presented me with the bill along with a long list of strict rules. I understand that, to a point, except the one where he can kick us out of the limo at any given point in time. Really? You would leave us stranded? When I was reviewing the bill (btw, very uncomfortable to do this the day I am trying to enjoy myself. Would prefer to have done this before hand.), I noticed that it was $100 more then I anticipated. There was an additional charge on there for Gas, toll and service fee. I never heard of such a thing. And when I called him, text him, and emailed, he never mentioned this fee. He claims that he did over the phone, which I do not recall at all. I even made a point to put the prices in email and text for confirmation. Not once did he mention the additional fees that I was leaving out. So I had to scramble to come up with an additional $100 (he was not the cheapest after all). What other choice did I have when everyone is at my house ready to go. It was definitely a lesson learned for me, to call my regular limo guy (A Cut Above Limo) ahead of time, and to never use Michael again. I give him 2 stars, one for showing up early and on time every stop we needed him, another for the cleanliness of the limo. I would not recommend this limo service.

The limo driver arrived and escorted us into the limo, so far so good, but then...a few things…read morehappened, I will list the events that occured First the driver kept asking us for directions. We would try to start having fun but the window kept opening to ask where to go next. Then he argued to us that he couldn't pick up one of our friends. If you are making multiple stops, do not go with this company. They charged us $20 to pick up our friend 3 minutes off the freeway. The worst part is that the driver agreed in advance to pick up the person and tried to rip us off in the process. Then the driver drove like a maniac to get us to our destination as fast as possible. Why would a limo driver do this? Is it to get us to spill so they can charge us for damages? Is it to get there fast so the driver can do other things with his time? Isn't the purpose of a limo to enjoy the car ride to your destination? We were holding on for dear life and were overly cautious about spilling our drinks because of his driving, the whole trip was ruined. Then, when we got to the destination, the driver didn't even drop us off in front of the hotel. He was at an intersection with cars flying by us. I don't really know where his logic was, it could be that he didn't truly know where the hotel was, but the least he can do is pull to the side of the road. He was at least gracious enough hold on to some of our coats because we didn't want to bring them into coat check. But...then he didn't pick us up. We waited in the cold, without our coats, and ended up paying a $100 to get a taxi so we could go home. We had spent more money, were stranded in the cold, and our night had been ruined. Choose your limo service carefully.
