Was looking for somewhere to grab lunch while adventuring out in Shakopee. Was excited to find this cute newly built community. I did order online to pickup. I ordered the Big Dilly because most places don't have pickle pizza (esp BOP) so I was excited to try something different. While I love pickles after a few slices I was kind of over the thick slices of pickles but overall I felt like the pickles itself were good. The prices were kind of expensive for a personal size pizza but so everything these days. When I walked in, I thought it was neat inside kind of an industrial/graffiti vibe. They did have a little arcade in the back corner with a few games which was cool as I can see it takes a while to make the pizzas. The 2 staff working greeted me and were fairly nice. What a stupid business model. I was so excited to bring my family here and try it out, but they don't do any customizing, couldn't sub mushrooms for peppers or anything like that. There aren't even Parmesan shakers or packets to use at your table. So definitely not in the same ballpark as Punch or Luce. And the staff were nice, so this isn't their fault. It's just weird. And you have to order on the computer screen of course, and it still asks for tip. No pop machine, you just buy the bottles. So clearly this just isn't my style. This is a go to spot for when we have friends over for a game night or Vikings game. The pizza is a game changer, especially when it's 5 minutes from home and is ready in 5 minutes! The meatball pizza comes complete with ricotta cheese and meatballs on top, with a charred and crispy crust. Not sure how to accurately explain it, but the pizza didn't taste like a brick oven pizza I'm used to. It could be perhaps because it's such a new place and the ovens need more seasoning? We were excited to try this pizza based on reviews . It fell flat. The crust was burned and gave bitter taste it was not good. The size was tiny for amount you pay. Meatball pizza had 4 meatballs cut in half . Pizza with chicken had tinniest amount of chicken. Toppings were very light . We payed 35 for two tiny burned pizzas. Every pizza they have here is great (I've been working my way through the menu) but the Parma is next level (plus, it has arugula so it's basically a salad). By far the best pizza in shakopee. I went in for the first time today got a 2 Foot-long breadstick with their house-made ZaZa sauce and house-made ranch, and you can tell by far when they put their heart and soul into the their recipes. We also got the Parma that my wife absolutely devoured and I got The OG... by far The BEST cheese pizza I've ever had. The Speedy service was also phenomenal. We were hungry so no pictures as we ordered it to go post-Vikings game. This had a nice char to the crust, but we were a little disappointed. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and requested all the pepperoni to be on on half so we could experience the quality of the pie without additions however the pie was made as half pepperoni and half cheese. We had read a lot of great reviews and some less than great for us the reality was in the middle. The crust was lacking the lightness we were expecting, but flavors were good. Terrible app that doesn't allow you to customize your pizza and a $7+ delivery fee. So I went in to order. You have to order from a kiosk that has the same terrible UI. I asked if I could just have them make a custom pizza. Sausage and mushroom. They said they can take toppings off the limited selection of pizzas, but they cannot add toppings. I just left. Will not be back. Update... I caved. I really want to like this place because I love Badger Hill next door and would like to have a good pizza option. I was wondering if I could cheat the system so I ordered online for pick up. I ordered the Sicilian and in the instructions said "Remove peppers. Add mushrooms" which essentially is a sausage and mushroom pizza. They didn't call, text, email or tell me when I picked it up, but they just made the pizza without peppers and didn't add the requested mushrooms. Their app DOES say they don't guarantee requests will be honored. This is the only pizza place I've ever seen that will not customize the toppings. Even when I was the only customer in sight. Pizza itself was nothing special if you've ever had real Neapolitan (or New Haven) style pizza. It was on the small side for $23 (including tip). Think of it this way... if Totino's made a New Haven style pizza, this would be it. This style pizza I've had in Connecticut and Long Island were much larger and did not skimp on toppings. My suggestion... if you need pizza at Badger Hill, have them make a frozen bar pizza. Better price, not skimpy, better pizza, and better value. If you love and must have this specific style of pizza, Punch Pizza is better and cheaper. Learned the other location is at the Rosedale Mall food court. This makes more sense. Was disappointed this is basically a fast food joint. The pizza is ok, but nothing special. No alcohol and not even a soda machine...just cans! ZERO service and barely a thank you was uttered when he called my name. No plates!!! (They ask for tips at kiosk checkout...you get more service at a McDonalds).
