No business owner, or professional is perfect…read more The problem here is that this attorney is practicing family law and has no clue what hes doing. We got to court and opposing council had to explain to him that Texas has a default custody template that the judges like to follow. The child support is a set fee if parties cannot agree and the judge will use that set percentage. The man never responds to emails nor telephone calls. I found out from my ex that he had not responded at all to the opposing attorney until they set a date to modify orders. Only then did he call them for 5 minutes and then hung up and never called them back. Meaning I wasted months of time. Finally the man doesn't even understand how to divide property. In Texas community property equates to property you bought and own together while married. If your ex has property before the marriage, that is all his and none of yours. Its separate property and you do not get half of that. Whether it's a business or a home. He told me I could get half and to go to trial. He told me to ask for more for the property , even though the property value showed a much lower price than what he proposed. If I had followed his advice I would of probably ended up with much less than what was offered and my child support would have been much lower as well. Good ridden to this lawyer. It was embararasing enough to sit in mediation and realize he had no answers and the mediator was educating him on family law. I do not say this lightly. Just call and ask him questions on family law and you will realize quickly he doesn't know a thing about family law in Texas. . He is an embarrassment to the family law attorneys who do a good job. He started in aviation and switched to family law without teven picking up a damn book and trying to understand or figuring out the basics of family law in Texas.

Karan won't fight your personal injury case unless you have a minimum of $15,000 in medical billing fees. And if you don't, he will be sure to refer you for different treatments with multiple doctors (he showed me a list of 50 he refers to) until you accrue enough fees for his liking. The whole consultation seemed like a scheme. I felt like I was literally in a circus with a clown named Karan, especially with all the orange walls, flooring, and furniture.
