My friend Denise, a newer Michigan resident introduced me to this gem of a store. It's a collection of vintage pieces and antique furniture with a bit of modern newness sprinkled throughout- there's kid clothes and toys that are bought from elsewhere and brought in. The owners have an eye for beautiful things- there's something here for every room of your house and even outside your house too! Pricing is moderate. I found a gorgeous brass candle holder for $40 and also passed on some artwork that was $175. They have 2 bathrooms while you're shopping that are spacious and clean. Parking is incredibly easy right out front on their property. The pulling out is a bit scary as this shop is on a bend in the road. The gal working was in constant communication with the owners while we were asking questions about some of the pieces. It was nice that they were on top of their things! I wish they had more of a vintage jewelry selection, but my friend and I both walked away with a few things for our homes!

Only to be told after a long wait that they couldn't sell me anything because the cash registers were down. This was only after I'd stood there for several minutes. The women working at the checkout had looked at me once or twice, turned their backs on me to deal with supplies or something, and dealt with other customers including a man who walked in the door after I'd already been waiting for some time, all as if I wasn't standing there with a cartload of stuff, waiting to be served. So I walked out with nothing, having lost the better part of an hour trying to buy bedding. I went around the corner and bought what I needed from Slumberland instead. The service there was friendly and efficient, and the bedding actually cost less than the sale prices at Kohl's. Kohl's management, in this instance your staff should have either put a sign on the door or posted a staff member at the door to turn people away. I saw at least 4 different staff people while shopping. Any one of them could have alerted me to the situation. The woman at the checkout said it had been down all day. They'd had time to come up with a contingency plan. You have lost me as a customer.

You never know what you will find in name brand clothing and accessories. Another thing that I like about Burlington is their commitment to the environment for purchasing recycled boxes for many of their shipping needs. She has accused him of lying on his application, which he did not do, then turned around and lied to him, admitted she lied and said she would continue to lie. She had no reason to fire him, first saying it was because he "didn't answer texts" and then said she would "make something up". She called him White Trash, Small Fry and Ass Wipe. Good job Burlington continuing to have this as your representative.
