I love the pants, have about 8 pair BUT, the red Crystal pants ARE NOT COLORFAST. They have RUINED 5 pair of pants, 4 of them different Oh My Gauze pants. The owner made zero effort to refund, correct, nada. Becuase of medical issues these are the best pants for us but you'd think the guy would try to keep us happy. Going to try Retayne color fixer. I hope I can download a picture of the 3" tear in the pants I have worn twice. Torn at the waistband seam - not a place I would have torn it accidentally. Additionally, bright orange water bleeding after the first wash. I'm afraid to wash them again (bought a set - dumb me.). And, I bought another top that bled, too. The label may say Italy which infers quality, but I bet the material was purchased elsewhere and sewn cheaply in Italy. BEWARE and don't waste your money. I have been a diehard patron of OMG for years. My favorite visit to Sarasota and Naples is their beautiful store and I am constantly ordering online. Their website is ok but does not do the clothes justice. But don't hesitate to order because you will not be disappointed at all. And their customer service is great. Do not shop here. Trust me. The customer service is some of the worst my mother and I have experienced. We were on vacation and my mom bought two shirts at the store. We drove back within the hour to return one as it didn't fit (it was tried on in our hotel room). They would not let me return the shirt. The two sales people were adamant. They said that that was their policy. I then had to ask my mom to go into the store to try and explain and return it. (I was trying to save her the trip across the circle since she is 85). The saleswomen refused to return and said she could only exchange it. She took a smaller size and left. It's called courtesy. Sometimes making exceptions to the rules allows you to gain customers and business. The attitudes my mother and I encountered won't help them any gaining or retaining business. At first I loved the clothes. I bought an outfit (top and bottom) on Tuesday. Wore it on Wednesday. I loved it so much that, while wearing it, I went back to the store to purchase the same outfit in more colors. I said to the sales woman that I wanted the exact same thing I was wearing and purchased three more complete outfits. I left happy. Thursday morning I was getting dressed in another new color and realized the pants were different. I had been sold a different style pants. The sales clerk had asked me if I was sure about the pants, how would I know for sure. Doesn't she sell them all the time and know the merchandise? Never once did anyone ever mention to me that they have a "no refund" policy. I returned to the store Thursday morning (third day in a row) to exchange all the pants for the correct style. They only had two in the correct style and size. I asked if they could ship the correct pants to me as I was on my way to another town on my vacation; I was told they could only ship them to their store. When I asked to speak with a manager, one of the owners came to help me. Wait, she was NOT helpful. I have never been spoken to so unkindly by a shop owner. Well, she already had my money and wasn't giving any of it back. So, what did she care what I thought. The customer service was lousy, to say the least. I was given a store credit. I live in Southern California and the store is in Sarasota, Florida, it is mostly useless! I can use it online; still, I'm so not happy. I will probably have to pay shipping. One of the owners was taking care of this final exchange transaction and started telling me not to get excited when I was explaining why part of the transaction should be refunded. (The wrong pants were $11 more than the original pants) Really?!?! That is how you you talk to a customer? It's nice that they stand behind their employees, but what about wanting a customer to be happy? No options were suggested. Just a "better than you" attitude. I now have a total of five outfits that I wear and enjoy. But, I would NEVER suggest that anyone shop there. read more

I ordered clothes 2 wks. ago and still do not have them. The owner told me to be patient that the FedEx they use is slow. I asked for a refund, but was told now that it's been shipped, they can't refund my money until I receive the package. Seems paradoxical.... Guess I'll have to cancel the order with my credit card. I must say I have 3 tops and a jacket from this stir. Each top washed up beautifully. I lay ten over a towel in top of my bathroom door so they never lose shape. I love them. In the hot Florida sun I stay pretty cool. I do agree that some of the sales people are very sour. I disregarded them as I found what I wanted. I could care less about them. Although it would be fun to have more enthusiastic assistants. One younger woman was helpful and explained how long she had the clothing she was wearing. Forget the staff, just pick what you like and try it on. They are extending their day by their misery but not mine!! read more

OMG = oh my goodness - what awful customer service!! Made a special trip to St. Armand's to go to this store after buying a blouse in Blowing Rock, NC and loving it to death. Was excited to find out that there was a store that I could visit on my recent trip to the gulf coast. Unfortunately the staff didn't live up to the beauty of the clothes or the nicely designed shop. There were two ladies working that day and four customers including my 84 year old mother and myself. The staff were unpleasant to say the least and not a bit helpful. The one had such a sour look on her face the whole time you would have thought we had insulted her somehow. The other one made an attempt to help but failed miserably as I stood undressed for long periods in the changing room waiting for her to bring me new items. You see - as they both so rudely explained - there was a limit to the number of items one could take to try on. That's fine - IF - you have attentive staff willing to assist the customers. Ended up my poor mother was sales person that day running to get me different sizes and colors. Too bad she didn't get a commission!! I did buy some things but won't be back anytime soon. Buy the clothes online or in other nice boutiques like the one in Blowing Rock. But don't waste your time at St. Armand's. There are many stores on the Circle with much more pleasant staff! read more

I used to love these clothes. However in truth their Customer service is severely lacking and awful! I received a recent order where all the pants ( 5 of same Sugar pair) were cut way shorter and very different from the previous ones. I wrote to customer service and was basically told that it was because my older clothes had stretched. Before wearing or washing the new items were clearly cut and sized very differently. I am not tall and the pants were very short and the fabric dipped down in the back. Beware: before ordering notice that you can not do a return at a retail store, you have to pay a restock fee if you send back 6 or more items or the whole order and then you do not get refunded shipping and you must pay to reship the items that are defective or not wanted back. NO companies I want to use have this unfriendly return policy or such poor customer service. I will find an alternative line that cares about and listens to their good customers. Cottonways is a good company that I will recommend instead. read more

I had a HORRIBLE experience at the St. Armands location! The associate was extremely rude to me. I couldn't get a sentence out without her yelling and talking over me. I have never had such a unprofessional and terrible shopping experience in my life. I was lied to and taken advantage of. I requested to speak with the manager and they would not give me her name or contact information. When I tried to reach out on social media, I received passive aggressive responses like, "we wish you peace of mind." As a curvy woman of size, my only complaint about OMG is there is NOT enough stuff to fit me!! The clothes wash well, and the staff is very helpful and they even let me bring in my dog Cupcake to the store to shop with me. The owner is a great upbeat lady, and even gifted me a headband as an act of kindness. Great colors, jewelry (50% off table too). I also went to their Naples store which had different items and that staff was great too. So great, they helped me located a car rental place due to car being dead! 90+ degrees, and no AC. No problem, they found a rental place for me (NO easy task for this quaint town) AND customers gave my husband and I a ride to the rental place. Enough of me! I FOUND THIS STORE AT ST ARMAND'S CIRCLE ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO. I HAVE 11 TOPS, 1 Wrap AND 2 SKIRTS! SO I WOULD SAY I LIKE THE CLOTHES! It is hit or miss with the staff, some days they are super helpful some days indifferent, I can deal with that...the fabric is superior in quality, never fades or shrinks. (Very surprising being 100% cotton) Comfortable and the cotton is a good weight as you cannot see through. I cant even tell you how many compliments I receive every time I wear them. what ever you do, don't order on line! I paid extra to have my dress shipped 3 days with UPS. I never received an email confirmation that the order was placed. The guy who took my order not only got my address wrong he got my name wrong! how they were able to run my cc is beyond me. when my dress hadn't arrive i phone the company, they were closed, they got back to me mid day and we found the dress at my local UPS, where it had tired to be delivered 3 times, but because the guy who wrote the order had the address and name wrong and didn't take an phone number, it sat waiting. the dress was huge! i know they are one size fits all, but these are cut for women size 20 and larger! the weave of the gauze was weak and tore the first time I wore it. I had purchased a color called Amber but the dress was dirt brown. Needless to say. I will not be a return customer. Internet buyer be ware! read more

Although their products are normally good quality, I recently bought a pair of pants that arrived defective. Not realizing they were defective (bottom of one leg frayed with hem hanging), I removed the tag and laundered them gently. When I went to hang them up, I saw the defect, folded them and emailed the company. Two plus weeks later, with no response, I called. The rep advised that because they were sold at 70% off (not advertised seconds or defective), I would have to pay the cost of return postage. They would then examine them to see whether they could be repaired. The postage would not be reimbursed. This lack of corporate responsibility (or even basic honesty) is not acceptable and I will not be doing business with Oh-My-Gauze in the future. read more

Shopped at Oh My Gauze for the first time today. I did buy tops I liked, but the sales people were nasty, unsmiling, and unhelpful. In fact, they rushed over to my friend to tell her she could NOT bring jewelry into the dressing room. They weren't even close to being nice about it and treated her as if she was thinking of stealing the necklace! Not one sales person knew how to smile or be kind and helpful. UGH! I purchased a deep turquoise dress yesterday at the St Armands Circle store. When I asked about washing, and whether the dress color would "bleed" the clerk said no it would not bleed and to wash it in cold water. The directions on the tag also said cold wash separately. Today I put the dress in cold water in the sink and the color bled profusely. My hands were stained with the color of the dress, and after scrubbing with different kinds of soap the color did not come out. When I called the store today the salesperson was indifferent and unconcerned. She really didn't care about the stain on my hands. When I asked what she suggested about stain removal she said "google it". When asked if I could return it she said no that there was nothing wrong with the dress. What really bothered me was her lack of concern and extremely poor customer relations. She was detached and not professional. Awful customer service. Would never go there again, and from other reviews I read, it looks like other people feel the same way. read more

Today I am so pleased! I had a less than favorable experience with one of the 17 pieces I own. When My husband (the master of making me happy) tried to show the dye problem, the storekeeper said that without a receipt there was nothing she could do. Lo and behold, Jason (an angel) wanted to make everything right and would rectify the problem. I only have 17 pieces because unfortunately my size varies and the "no longer fits" were donated. I love, love these clothes! However, beware of the standard shipping they utilize and charge for. The ship USP Smartpost - which means they put it on a turtle for delivery. I ordered 10 days prior to a trip I was taking and my order did not arrive in time. For the $4.99 I paid them - they could have easily of put my 2 pair of pants in a USPS Priority Padded flat rate or flat rate envelope (both cost about $5 bucks) and I would of had them in 2 - 3 days tops! Nothing you order in todays online buying world should ever take more than 10 days to deliver!!! So beware of delivery times!!! read more

I first bought Oh My Gauze in Wisconsin. I absolutely love the items. I purchased 4 more today on line. Cant wait to get them. They wash and wear beautifully. Loved my Oh-My-Gauzge pieces i bought in Sarasota. Got compliments wherever I went. Great to travel with and very comfortable so just love the outfits........UNTIL I went to wash a piece. I meticulously saved the tag with the directions and adhered to them to the letter- cold water,delicate cycle,like colors.. But the beautiful reef colored top came out of the washer with bold stains on it where something, and I cannot figure out WHAT!, bled on it and ruined it. Tried getting itout then took to cleaners where they could't do much to salvage it. Called the store but there was no sympathy or an offer to replace the item. Am very disappointed and will think twice about going back - which I had hoped to do to purchase more. What good does it do to buy a piece of clothing if it is ruined in the wash and can't be cleaned? read more
