I told her I needed a mother of the groom gown and she suggested I go to Camilyn Beth. She only sold bride gowns. So I walked around the corner and found myself at Camilyn Beth. She asked me what I was looking for and then pulled three gowns off the rack. I only went as far as gown number 2 and found what I was looking for. I wanted a classic style gown in a deep blue. Preferable a comfortable fabric that gave and didn't wrinkle very easily since I would be folding it up to take it on a carry-on to NJ. The gown was altered perfectly and the communication with the proprietor was excellent! I couldn't have found the most perfect gown. If you don't know already, these gowns are design by Camilyn Beth. Her fabrics are wisely chosen for ease of wearing and the designs are simple elegance. When I was in my 20s I would call it a "smart" looking dress because it was something Jackie O or Hepburn would wear. My tastes have always been classic, simple and comfortable, so this gown was perfect for me. All I have to say to Camilyn Beth is bravo! You hit fashion on the nail when it comes to classic elegance. I shall see you again at your new shop one day!

My experiences at Camilyn Beth have never been topped. Both times she has found very unique dresses and really love how much the mother and daughter who own the shop help make sure she finds just what she is looking for or what makes her look amazing. Also, when her dress came in late they made sure to work with me and even arrange a special pick up time. Overall the prices of dresses are very reasonable for what you are getting although these are high quality not cheaply made.

The seamstresses at Something Blue saved the day when we brought my daughter's dress there for…read morealterations. We ordered it from another shop and they ordered the dress too small. With a lot of ingenuity and experience, the gals there fixed the dress and improved upon it! They took fabric from optional bows to add material to the sides and back, giving the illusion the dress was like that the whole time. I thought we would be on a time crunch because the dress also came in later than promised, but that was not an issue at all. I ordered my mother of the bride dress there and my other daughter got lucky and was able to get her Maid of Honor dress off the discontinued rack! All our alterations were spot on and the prices were very reasonable. I won't mention the other shop because I don't want to give them any publicity, but I would 100% return to Something Blue!

There seemed to be about four ladies working there and no one greeted me with even the smallest hello until I got halfway through the store. So that made me feel slightly unwelcome but I continued to browse freely. All of the other shoppers appeared to be regulars because they were mentioned by name & held the attention of the workers.
