    The Best Wedding Planner to Ever Do it +Us.

    Indeed meant to be!!!! Words can't do justice to the unique experience that we had working with Danielle and the Ohana Team. A highlight for me was me hopping in Danielle's car and her totally normalizing that she was driving me to first look when the party bus was running late. I wonder if she was worried on the inside- but I couldn't tell one bit! So I was just happy to save the few minutes haha. To Danielle: We will ALWAYS be grateful to you for envisioning and executing the WEDDING OF OUR DREAMS. And we are humbled and very, very grateful. And you know- we will be referring you to ANYONE and EVERYONE looking for a wedding planner, just in case the location and timing works out. When all is said and done, we are so grateful for the person you are, and your team, and your flexibility, and your wisdom, and your foresight, and your accountability, and your timeliness.     My husband and I booked the in-between package from Ohana for our 8/13/22 wedding since we didn't feel the need for a full planner, and it was a great choice! We were paired with Jenna, and we loved her from the start. She is super nice, responsive, and makes sure you stay organized and have fun while planning! The first meeting in the package we chose is 6 weeks before the wedding date, which is the perfect time to start getting into the details of planning. This is when you begin looking at a timeline for the wedding day together. And let me tell you - the timeline Jenna put together for us was absolutely indispensable! It helped us organize every single decision we needed to make for the wedding, and kept us on track on the actual day of our wedding. There were parts of the day Jenna asked about that we definitely never would have thought of ourselves before it was too late, and we are very grateful that we had the opportunity to really think through how our wedding day would unfold! Once we had our initial timeline meeting, Jenna was super helpful in answering any questions we had while ironing out loose details. Everyone warns you that something will go wrong on your wedding day, and you should brush it off. I can tell you with confidence, nothing went wrong on our wedding day, and it was because of Jenna. She kept all of our wonderful vendors on top of things, and was at the venue early on the day of the wedding to make sure everything was set up properly. My bustle broke and she fixed it immediately, she helped us load up a car with gifts and decorations at the end of the night, and really went above and beyond to make sure we were calm and able to enjoy our wedding day.     We hired Ohana Events for the full wedding package and we can't recommend it enough! Rachel was so amazing to work with. She really went above and beyond to help us with every single request we had, no matter how small. She's a problem solver, super responsive, detail oriented, and somehow she remains positive and calm during what was a chaotic time! Prior to our wedding, we didn't know anything about event planning. Rachel had SO many resources and recommendations for us, and she made the entire process as easy and enjoyable as possible. We truly would have been lost without her. We would gladly hire Rachel and Ohana Events for any future events! Thank you, Rachel!!

    I had the pleasure of working with Sonya at Ohana Events as my "day of" coordinator. However, that title is quite misleading, as I texted with Sonya nearly daily for a month or two leading up to the wedding. She initially reached out around the 90 day mark prior to wedding. Sonya helped me maintain sanity in an otherwise insane time of my life (including wedding but also just in general). She was firm when she needed to be, herded all my MANY vendors, maintained professionalism when it was difficult to do so and acted as my advocate and vendor liaison. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ohana Events (OE), but Sonya is truly a rockstar. As a type A bride, I had my doubts about truly needing a coordinator, but trust me when I say - you'll regret not enjoying your day to the fullest without the support of a "day of" coordinator - on site vendor coordinators are great, but not sufficient.

    I booked 360 Event Rentals for my wedding this past Saturday. A photo booth was something I HAD to…read morehave at the wedding. After looking for what felt like forever, I found 360 rentals and touched base with Taz, and I am so glad I did! To start, booking the photo booth was by far the easiest and fastest thing I booked for the wedding. Leading up to the wedding Taz was reachable by phone, text or email and was so prompt at responding. He was so accommodating and easily created a beautiful template for the Photo Booth printouts that matched our theme from one inspiration photo I sent him. Fast forward to the night of the Wedding. Taz arrived earlier than expected and quickly said hello so we knew he was there and set up his stuff. Once he was set up he had a majority, if not all, of the printouts for us. He directed our own experience with the Photo Booth and made it so fun for us! He was so accommodating, adjusting the camera as needed to fit everyone in, making sure everyone had a copy and was happy to reprint as needed. He even let my now husband borrow the captains hat prop for the evening. Not even an hour after the wedding Taz had emailed us our online gallery so we were able to see all the Photo Booth photos taken that night. Then fast forward to the next day; If Taz mentioned he was doing it, I forgot, but he made a HIGHLIGHT REEL of our whole reception! We were so surprised and loved watching the highlights of our night. He even gave us a copy to keep and share with friends and family that didn't have instagram. I can't express my gratitude to Taz enough for taking my one must have into a keepsake collection that my husband and I will always cherish! If anyone needs a Photo Booth of any kind, 360 Event Rentals is the place to get it from! Thank you Taz for going above and beyond and helping make our night so memorable!

Great communication, customized pricing, very professional service for the actual event. Everyone loved the actual booth and having all of the digital copies for ourselves for later has been a lot of fun as well. Would absolutely recommend.

    This owner lied three times in the response to our Google review. Why would you hire a company…read morethat can't admit fault? If Big Hugs had simply written, "We made mistakes at your event. We see that and we are sorry," I might have softened or retracted parts of my review, and responded in kind. But they made a different choice. So we double down, too: Do Not Hire Big Hugs. We will let our contacts in Chicagoland know our experience, and we strongly recommend our lovely Naperville venue's clients look elsewhere for a photo booth vendor. One Star. original review: We were so surprised and aghast that this highly-recommended photo vendor failed so epically: 1) subjects were cut out of photos 2) backdrop was broken and we had to fix it Big Hugs was hired for a large Celebration of Life event bringing together relatives and friends from across the country. To memorialize the day, we provided this service so loved ones could take group and family photos. Only after the event, paging through the photo book, did we see that on the majority of prints, subjects were not even within the frame of the photos! We had approval in advance from Big Hugs to provide our own rented couch to set in front of the backdrop, and asked repeatedly if the couch would appear too low in the frame, or if those standing behind would appear too high. Big Hugs' on-site attendant assured us he would make sure and this would be no problem. Yet in about 35% of photos, taller guests' heads were partially cut off, and guests on the couch appeared only from the neck up. Some were out of frame on the sides of photos. The rest of the photos looked ridiculous because the people on the couch were way down in the lower third of the photo. So, why is an attendant present if it's not to ensure good photographs!? From a once-in-a-lifetime event, our guests took home ridiculous, unprofessional photos as their remembrance. This is not what we intended when hiring a professional photo booth vendor at a premium price. Prior to the event, as the attendant set up, we noticed the backdrop was hanging crooked. Two event planners and myself asked if he would fix this before guests arrived. He replied, "I can't. That's how it is." Our venue manager said to the attendant, "This looks terrible and is unacceptable." He did nothing. So she stepped in herself and created a fix for the broken backdrop provided by Big Hugs. Subsequently, our event planner reached out and explained the situation to Big Hugs, who pushed back saying the attendant reported everything was fine. Then offered a 20% discount. Our planner detailed again the numerous points of failure, and then Big Hugs offered 50% off the remaining balance. That Big Hugs charged us *anything at all* after their epic fail should be an embarrassment to them. Highly do not recommend Big Hugs to anyone seeking professional photo booth for an event they care about.

    I wish I could recommend this photo booth - but they won't return my calls. I have yet to receive…read moremy photos or emails that I have already paid for. When you pay, you are supposed to receive something. Good luck on getting your pics!
