He contacted the High street location and informed them I was on my way at 1:16. I asked if they would be open and he stated I could get my medication if I got there before 1:30 because that's when they take their break. I got to High street Walgreens at 1:27 and saw the windows closed and the last tech leaving. If the hours are posted for the public at 1:30 why is it closed before? So I rushed following the advice of Toby from this Walgreens only to be made to wait anyway. Just awful. Why do they not let customers know if they cannot fill the prescription or when it is ready? They rarely answer the phone which I attempted calling back to back for hours. It's a goose chase. I already don't like taking medication but should not be sent on a scavenger hunt to get a common prescription filled.

She also rang me out when I was ready, and she gave me great customer service. She made sure all of the nail polish were on sale, and went through the flier for any coupons. The store was quiet, but I'm sure that will change once people start to realize this location is open. Apparently, the pharmacist on duty decided she knew what was "best" for me and took it upon herself to short my prescription instead of simply filling it correctly. Good to know my doctor's instructions are apparently just optional suggestions now. For context: people don't usually take medication because it's a fun hobby. Some of us actually depend on it to function and, you know, stay alive. So thank you for turning a routine prescription pickup into a stressful scavenger hunt where I had to go elsewhere just to get the medication prescribed to me in full. The professionalism and customer service were honestly shocking. Nothing says "we care" quite like acting dismissive toward someone whose health depends on their medication. At this point, I'd probably have an easier time shopping for a casket than refilling prescriptions here. Needless to say, you've lost a loyal customer.
