My recent state renewal process was very seamless and I'm still pleased with how they run operations here. I really appreciated during COVID that they offer telemedicine appointments for renewal. Renewal just required a simple form online and a video call with a doctor. On the day of, my appointment was running late. I called the provided number in the virtual waiting room, and the gal who answered was very helpful and prioritized me as next in line. I'm not sure if they forgot about me or were just understaffed, but I appreciated that she prioritized me during my busy work day. Quite literally, my appointment lasted five minutes. I really value that Ohio Marijuana Card doesn't make you jump through excessive hoops or have an unclear process. Chronic pain should always be taken seriously and OMM gets that you don't want to be buried in an unclear process. I spoke to several people during the process, asked for pricing and confirmed *every call* $150. Until I tried to pay. All of a sudden it is $250. But on sale only $198. That's called a bait and switch. Cancelled my appointment. Employee was dismissive. read more

Don't believe the "pay one price and no hidden fees" claim! They charge $20 for a physical card (print out your Digital card and laminate at The UPS Store for under $5), $20 to add a caregiver which you will later discover costs another $25 to the State (save your $20 to OMC to put toward that). Leafwell charges $149 ($99 with Groupon) for the same $240 ($192 on Groupon) services at OMC. Additionally, of the three contacts with whom I spoke only one was friendly and helpful; the other two were hostile in tone and words, speaking over me, answering questions I didn't ask and not answering the questions I'd called to ask. Will not go with OMC again next year. The only good thing was the speed of the "doctor" appt, 5min, although she wasn't able to answer any medical question; she stated she was just there to "recommend" cannabis as a treatment. read more

I recently had an appointment for a card renewal at the office located at 1413 Golden Gate Blvd, Cleveland, OH 44124, Suite #240. The front desk person was good, the intake person, collecting money was abrasive and stressed first thing on a Monday morning. I asked her to spell my name properly, when she was entering my information into the system, and it was a problem for her, it didn't stop there but rather than a long dissertation, I'll just leave a review. I do find it odd having someone in her position being hostile but I guess that's why I'm Yelping that I would not return to this office. The doctor was pleasent but rather than be subjected to this staff again, I'll be heading to an office on the west side, 24600 Center Ridge Rd., Suite #107 (King James Office Park, Building #3) Westlake Ohio, US 44145, Dr. Meredith Wylie, and her staff are worth the drive. read more

I was so impressed by how quick the process was. I expected to see an office full of people sitting and standing around to be seen, but that was not the case. I gave the receptionist the code to look up my.medical records on MyChart, she printed them out, I saw the Dr. who told me I was eligible and the assistant who told me what to expect after she sent Columbus my paperwork and less than 1 hour later I checked my email, logged on and printed my card. I visited this facility on 4/19/19. I met with Dr Abrams, she was super friendly, compassionate and very knowledgeable. She examined me and explained the various types and forms of medicinal cannabis to help with my MS pain. Not knowing a lot about this recently legalized medicine, I asked a lot of questions.
