He took the time to explain the menu and the specific process behind how your pizzas are prepared. Based on his recommendations, we decided on the Fancy Pep pizza. The quality was outstanding. The toppings were generous, and the combination of pepperoni, ricotta, and hot honey was truly fabulous. We also appreciated that the honey was served on the side for drizzling. Finally made it to The Ohio Pie Co and it did not disappoint! The staff are super friendly and helpful, the arcade games are free, and it's a great chill vibe with picnic style tables, paper towels, etc. And the food was great. We had the special which was a vodka sauce with sausage, pepperoni, and ricotta, the sausage and pepper, the BBQ chicken and the veggie. All fabulous! And the hot honey made it even better. Then the cookies were out of this world with all kinds of crazy flavors like pineapple upside down cake, cookie monster, etc. We tried the mint oreo, cookie dough M&M, chocolate chip and dark chocolate expresso and all were delicious. I've been vegan for 20 years. I love pizza. But I gave up trying to find anything that even remotely resembles a real pizza. Frozen pizzas of all brands are mostly horrible. Most vegan cheese has more in common with snot than actual mozzarella. And then I drove nine hours from South Carolina to Parma and tried the Ohio Pie Company. I read the reviews and didn't get fancy. Just pepperoni and cheese. Oh my! While it didn't quite reach my pre-vegan favorite pizza (that would be Masseys, also in Ohio), but nonetheless it gave me hope. Crust, sauce, and pepperoni were terrific. Cheese, as close as I've found. No more snot! We also got two no - vegan pies (pepperoni, and bbq chicken) for the family and my in-laws were very pleased. I'll definitely be back. I absolutely loved this place. If it were closer to where I live I'd get their pizza every time! There's no delivery so you can call, come in and order and eat there as well. The place itself is very eclectic, very cool atmosphere. They have old time arcade games you can play for free, so if you come in and place an order you can sit and enjoy a game or two. This pizza is unique and delicious! You can't go wrong! Toppings are edge to edge and they don't skimp. No matter your taste in toppings know you will get lots in a bite. You can eat in. There are picnic tables to gather. It's not big but enough for some families. With the graffiti on the wall it's got a rock n roll feel. Service is friendly. Stopped here for a Pizza at dinner time. Very good crowd for just a Tuesday afternoon. Ordered the medium sized plain cheese with 1/2 pepperoni. Requested that they pie cut my pizza instead of squares. I was told "no way". The pizza lacked a lot of flavor and was not as good as a lot of other local pizza shops. I called in advance to ensure they had a dining room.... It's not quite ready for prime time, as it's very basic. The ingredients tasted fresh, the seasoning was on point, and the combinations were well-balanced and thoughtful. You can tell there's real care going into the recipes. That said, my only gripe was the texture on pickup. Both pizzas were a bit soggy, and the crust didn't hold up when you picked up a slice -- it flopped right over. It could be from steaming in the box, but I was definitely craving that crisp, structured bite. Next time, if we go the takeout route again, I'd plan to crisp them up in the oven at home for a few minutes. Would I order again? Absolutely -- the flavor alone makes it worth it. They were amazing with my daughter's food allergies, and my picky toddler loveddd the white pizza (party bread). Their vegan pizza is some of the best I've ever tried and we have tried a lot with a dairy allergy. They even had vegan cookies that were safe for her. So appreciate them. Used to think this place was a 5 star. It's lost its luster with us unfortunately. Had a few bad experiences since going often (weekly to every other week). Once the pizza we brought home was just burned. Called them and they offered to replace it because it was hard to eat with the burned flavor. Drove back to the place and you'd think they'd make sure the replacement wasn't burned. Nope. Burned also...and we have eaten here a lot and know what is normal. Also, some of the people working here act like they are doing you a favor by being open or something. The owner is cool and he does cool stuff for his staff...but some of them just act like you are just another number. They ask you if you want cookies or whatever and sit there glaring at you like you know what's in the case and can decide in 5 seconds. Also bought two of the Thanksgiving pizzas last year two different times. Paid $20 for a medium...wanted an extra cranberry sauce because the dang thing is so savory and it should have more cranberry with it...and the dude looked as if he couldn't care less and just said...that'll be $1. For a little tiny plastic cup with cranberry sauce! Pissed me off pretty good. It is not our favorite place to go anymore. Haven't been back in about 5 or 6 months. The punk music adds to the not wanting to go. It's dreadful. When the owner was running the ship it was worth sitting in the loud obnoxious room with the crap music for the pizza. We stopped on a whim and decided to dine in. The staff was friendly and the dining area was clean. The prices are about average for a decent pizza place. Our pizza was ready faster than they told us it would be which was great. What we loved: the crust was crunchy and the pizza had a lot of toppings on it and the flavor was good. What we didn't love: the pizza is not cut like a traditional pizza it's cut like a sheet pizza would be cut and therefore the pieces in the center have no crust to be picked up by and will either be super messy to eat or require a fork and knife. Also, the sauce was only in the middle of the pizza, outside slices (like 2 to 3 inches away from the crust) had zero sauce and were just cheese on bread which I did not like. Overall, not a bad place and glad we tried it but not likely going to sway us from our regular pizza place. I still gave Ohio Pie 4 stars because of the flavor, staff and facility. read more

They also had a Cinnamon Toast Crunch and an Oreo cookie, along with a vegan cookie, which I thought was pretty cool. We also ordered a small half cheese half pepperoni pizza and a small party bread. We really liked the pepperoni, it was crunchy on the outside, which gave it good flavor. Their sauce is REALLY good, kind of on the sweet side. The atmosphere is hip/trendy which is different from what's in the area and the staff was super friendly!! I'd defiantly go back and I would recommend trying their food. If you're looking for a chain type place or pizza, THIS IS NOT IT. the prices are a bit high for the sizes, but it's worth trying for sure. That's the only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating.
