To stay off, the cookies are LEGIT!!! We had the red velvet and Reese's cookies, both were absolutely amazing. They also had a Cinnamon Toast Crunch and an Oreo cookie, along with a vegan cookie, which I thought was pretty cool. We also ordered a small half cheese half pepperoni pizza and a small party bread. We really liked the pepperoni, it was crunchy on the outside, which gave it good flavor. Their sauce is REALLY good, kind of on the sweet side. The atmosphere is hip/trendy which is different from what's in the area and the staff was super friendly!! I'd defiantly go back and I would recommend trying their food. If you're looking for a chain type place or pizza, THIS IS NOT IT. the prices are a bit high for the sizes, but it's worth trying for sure. That's the only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating. If you're near Brunswick or Rocky River and love pizza, go to the Ohio Pie Company. I rarely give a 5 star on the first trip but this place just rocks. I had the Heartburner (two kinds of pepperoni, extra cheese, extra garlic oil) and my wife had the Biodome (veggie)- top quality ingredients crust to toppings. Atmosphere- a cool version of a sit down pizzeria. Painted picnic tables, wall art, neon... Drinks- your typical soft drinks and a small, but well thought out beer selection, ranging from Stella to PBR in the can. Went for the first time to check it out, dough was good but sauce was super sweet, so if that is something you enjoy in a pizza you will enjoy. Cookies were great. The cost was a little pricy especially for not even finishing and having to get something else for dinner. As 2 out of 4 people in the family didnt like. I've never found another pizza like these. I've never tasted a pizza with a sweet sauce and a thick soft dough like these pizzas here. Experience: This place is one of the most raves about pizza places in my community (the only reason this review is 3 starts instead of 2). My girlfriend had never tried it and I had given her the option between Ohio Pie and Fatbobs. Her choice is obvious by this review. I had tried this place once before and got the heart burner and I DEFINITELY got heart burn (can't say they didn't warn me). But other than that I didn't really remember much about the pizza. This time I called in my order, the girl explained to me that they didn't have sides of garlic butter because they have like a garlic aioli they put on their pizzas (I still wanted garlic butter) now on to.... The food: So I ordered just a build your own pizza (pepperoni and mushroom) and my girlfriend ordered the piggy back (which is their bbq chicken pizza). First thing I noticed was how unbelievably sweet the sauce is (which if I'm not mistaken, is not under the cheese and toppings but circled very lightly on top) . If you do not like sweet sauce, this is not a sauce you are going to like. That immediately turned me off and I only had the smallest piece and didn't finish it. I was absolutely against the sauce. I like robust and savory sauces. My girlfriend, Kayla said hers was also very sweet (the bbq sauce) but she said she enjoyed it. Her favorite part was the crispy onions on top that gave it a good crunch in the texture of the bite. Overall: we both agreed we would never get from there again especially with Samoskys and fatbobs nearby. But let me add that this review is purely preferential. I'm sure you're reading this from a place at like 20 minutes from a Brunswick, I'm sure you're wondering if it's worth the drive, it totally is, I've never had to wait for my pizza to be finished, if they say 20 minutes, exactly 20 minutes will pass, its piping hot, and packed with flavor. I started with the firebird Buffalo chicken on pizza is always a hit let's be honest. But its something about how the party sauce and Buffalo compliment each other. Cup of ranch on the side which I drizzled over the entire pizza literally had me licking my fingers. My next visit I went with the piggy bird as I've previously stated I'm a chicken on pizza fan, this time bbq chicken and sauce with the addition of crunch from some crispy onions. The hype is real! Wow, just that's all I can say... well not all I can say. First off being a vegetarian yelper let me start with... FINALLY a true vegan pizza a real honest to god "cheese" and all vegan pizza that sets the bar higher than the terminal tower. COVID update. This place is crazy busy. You have to keep calling until you make it through to place an order. No walk in orders. Someone works the door and tells you where to stand inside until it's your turn to step up to the counter to pay. It is very seamless and easy. Pizza is excellent as usual. Cookies are ridiculous. We've been hearing lots of good things about OPC, so I ordered some takeout recently. On our inaugural visit, we went with a cheese pizza, some garlic breadsticks, and a BBQ chicken pizza. Awesome! We first tried these guys at the Medina farmers market. They had some really interesting breakfast pizzas there that we really liked. It was a long time until we were able to try them again. But we just recently had some of their take out pizza and we got the dill pickle special and the pepperoni pizza. Both are really good. I don't know what makes a pizza an Ohio style pizza, but whatever it is, it's really good. It is a nice buttery crust similar to a deep dish style, but in a circular form. The sauce is sweet and flavorful. Crust had some bite and nice char. Everything was just really well done. The guy and gal are really nice and their store is small but cool. Seriously, other than it being a little bit of a drive from Cleveland Heights, everything was spot on. *cue happy dance in the car when the goods were secured* Seemingly, a hole in the wall, Ohio Pie Co got on my radar through word of mouth from a friend - I was immediately on board when I saw she got a fried pickle pizza from there. My bf and I made a little day trip by checking off another Metropark before rewarding ourselves with 2 pies and cookies. Hinckley Metropark Reservation is about 20 minutes away, which is perfect timing to call in your order at Ohio Pie Co. It has been a while since I've seen a perfect 5 star rating on Yelp for a restaurant and I understand why it has kept its high rating. We got The Heart of it All (aka the deluxe) and Firebird (aka buffalo chicken). I was obsessed by the deluxe style pizza and how satisfied I was after. I loved that they use slices of mushroom versus diced because you get more of that mushroom flavor that tends to be lost otherwise. The Firebird was also a classic and came with a ranch packet on the side - you get that salty, spicy goodness from the buffalo chicken which is cooled down by the creamy ranch. They also have a rotating selection of monster cookies that will make anyone with a sweet tooth so happy. I was drawn to the fact that they used ube as a flavoring in their cookie selections, where I've seen ube oreo and ube fruity pebbles, the latter of which we got. They managed to highlight the fruity pebbles flavor without it tasting super artificial. They announce their cookie flavors on their social media, so watch out for the latest selections there (I saw it on their IG stories). Because they are take out only right now (they have a small lobby/checkout area), they post latest updates on their social media. You have to call in an order (no walk-in orders) and they do not have timed pre-orders during peak hours. You can walk-in if you just need cookies, but be mindful of their 3 customer limit in the lobby. I appreciate their candor and how active Ohio Pie Co. is on their social media during the pandemic and that is part of the reason why I want to come back and support this business. I can't wait to try the brunch pizza on the weekends! Expect to leave with more food than you probably should have ordered, but I am with you there. read more

Ate here for lunch. Pizza was ready in about 20 minutes. We ate their deluxe (The Heart Of It All) and a pepperoni. Both excellent. Crust had a crispy bottom--soft and bread-like otherwise. Unlike other pizzas, sauce is dolluped on top and is on the sweeter side. When it comes to pizza, a lot is personal preference. We really enjoyed their pizza and wish they expanded to a little eastward as Brunswick is a little far. Thought their dining area was just perfect--nice looking and casual. read more

Wow, I can honestly say this place has the best pizzas I've ever had. We drive up to Ohio from VA every few months and finally got to try Ohio Pie Co. after drooling over their Instagram posts and they did not disappoint! I only wish it wasn't a 5 hour drive so we could come here more often. We tried a few different pizzas- piggy bird (bbq chicken), firebird (Buffalo chicken), burning river hot chicken, and a regular cheese which were all phenomenal. Their cookies are also insane; try as many as you can. My fiancé and I are stopping by tomorrow morning on our way back home to get another pizza and will be stocking up on cookies as well! Stopped in while on a trip to Cleveland. The vegan community raves about the pizza so it was a must to stop. Although I wasn't a fan I'm sure other vegans alike do enjoy it. Vegan cheeses are a difficult selection process and not everyone is a fan of the ones restaurants select. I was excited to try a couple new ones tonight, and I was not let down. The Basic B- 5 cheese blend, ricotta, spinach, and crazy good white garlic sauce... Holy YUM! The ricotta is a perfect touch. The Piggy Bird- bacon, chicken, bbq sauce, and crispy French fried onions. Awesome combo of ingredients. How is it even possible to get that much flavor onto a pizza??? We also got another Heartburner.. just as great as the first time we had it! All high quality ingredients, and they definitely do notskimp on the toppings. I've heard people rave about this place and besides a select few reviews on here that i just now read i've only heard great things! So i'm disappointed to say the pizza was average at best... We got the "Basic B" and "The Heart Of It All" pizza's. On the basic B we added tomatoes and i'm so glad me did because other than the taste of the few tomatoes that came on it it had very very little flavor. As for the Heart Of It All i feel like there was no sauce!! Both pizzas had very little flavor and are not something i'll probably ever crave/ need again. Would maybe try again in the future for the cookies or breakfast pizzas. Totally wish we would've liked it more. read more
