    Bought a hot tub from them at the H&G show. Needed a delayed delivery and said it would be OK…read more Joe came out for a site inspection prior to delivery. Delivery went fine. They removed our old hot tub (for a fee) and placed the new one perfectly. Joe had made a note for them to bring a hole saw to drill where our electrical would enter. They did not want to do it saying it is "very hard" to drill through fiberglass. They refused. It took 20 seconds for my guy to drill the hole. During hook up, it appeared we were delivered a used unit. Maybe a showroom sample. Many indicators. Not what I purchased. Anyway, the unit seems to be working fine so far. Note: the cover that they "throw in" is cheap as heck. It leaks rainwater into the spa and it sags and puddled on the top the first time it rained. Very unhappy about this. We have had 2 other hot tubs in the past 35 years and not one had a cover that leaks and sags. Also, no manual came with the hot tub. The instruction sheet they left says "refer to the manual". Never got one. I had to call and Rex said he would email one. Inconvenient. Can't bring my computer out to the hot tub and printing 56 pages is ridiculous. I'm old school and like to have the manual in my hand as I am learning the features and functions and for reference. I will be calling Platinum Spas to get one. Also, they never mentioned how to Register the tub and file for the warranty. Not trying to be negative, but others must be aware of these things before you buy.

It was used 4 times that summer at my seasonal home. It was drained and winterized per the manual. When I opened up the spa in spring it powered up one pump and the control panel was not functioning properly. LeisureTime was contacted and a technician was sent out. The technician reported that mice chewed through wires and both pumps, motherboard and topside control panel needed to be replaced and the warranty was voided because of mice damage. I was appalled and disgusted! I spent $9K for this tub the year before. The reason I bought this model was because the salesman told me the bottom was sealed against critters getting in. Well they got in and I set about to exterminate them. I didn't do anything about the spa last season due to COVID. I thought the explanation I was given was bogus so I contacted an independent technician this Spring. He thought the same of the explanation. Within a short period of time he found that wires to the topside control panel had been compromised and it was a quick and easy fix. No other wires were found compromised. The technician from Leisure Time did no more than a 10 minute inspection and pronounced catastrophic damage. Do not buy spas from this business!!

Leisuretime was supposed to come out the next day with the cover, lifter, and starter chemicals. They did a no call no show. I called them on Tuesday, they apologized and set up for Thursday. Again no call no show. I called them Friday, more apologies. Now they did not have a cover, but were going to ship everything else on Monday and have the cover drop shipping. I called on Tuesday and nothing had shipped. I have since filed a dispute with my credit card company and asked leisuretime to pick up the tub a void the sale. No response as of yet. Had i seen all the recent BBB complaints and poor reviews i would have not purchased from leisuretime. Also check the BBB for the number of "Closed" and "Out Buisiness" Leisuretimes there are.

    i had been an customer for over 7 years. weekly maintenance. service was decent until last year…read morewhen two of their employees could not get my pool clean of algea. the person they sent alec, was very disrespectful and made comments to his partner that i could not distinguish between dirt and algea. i know what algea is..... i have owned this pool 35 years. he started making fun of me and rude comments. i called his superiors that did nothing. finally a general manager got back to me and sent two other guys. after a month the algae finally cleared up. this year i asked for the same people that replaced alec. instead they sent alec who showed up today with the same attitude as last year. i called and told brent the service manager i never wanted him back again. he said we only have one person serving the west side. really???? a big company like that? i pay my bill the second it comes, and i have given them so much business year after year. he basically said take him or leave him. at that level we agreed to end this arrangement. they have rude employees that don't know how to get algea out of a pool and the service manager is very rude as well. glad to be done with them. i would never go with this company. karen oneal

A month or so after my pool heater was installed, it failed to operate and he was here the next day to rectify the situation. He runs a very personable business and backs up his work. I'd ask anyone what more could they possibly want?

    We signed and paid over a $50k deposit in early July 2024. Eight months later there was still no…read morepermit, no confirmed material orders to site, and no work started. We were repeatedly told "you're next" and "within weeks," but dates slipped with no firm schedule. In June 2025--nearly a year after paying--they were still saying we were "next." Key facts: - Deposit (July 2024): Months of "paperwork is submitted" messages, yet we never received a permit number or proof of submittal/approval. In Jan 2025 we were told paperwork had been submitted "yesterday," contradicting prior assurances. - Permitting (Winter-Spring 2025): The City issued adjudication orders and the permit was not approved until May 2025--~10 months after signing. (We can provide documentation if needed.) - No on-site work (through July 2025): Despite promises of a March start, there was still no crew on site and no schedule we could rely on. - Shell left exposed: The fiberglass shell sat outside uncovered for months with no start date in sight. We ultimately had them drop the shell at our property while we hired another installer to complete the project. Bottom line: After 13 months, aside from dropping the shell at our home, no installation work was performed. Communication was pleasant at times, but pleasant texts don't build pools. We would not hire again and do not recommend.
