You should know that I am just getting into car care products and know very little. ECP obviously didn't focus on car care products so their selection is not extensive or intensive. That said, I found everything that I needed to specifically care for my care. I only needed products for leather, interior protector, and wash because I had all the other products. I found Groit and Chemical Brothers products here that met my needs. I also found application pads and microfiber towels for cleaning. I noticed that they have all the other products I bought at another place for car care. I noticed that they had a power tool for buffing. Chemical Brothers sells a whole lot of products and ECP doesn't sell them all. It's best to call ahead to see if they have a product you are looking for. For instance, they had the VRP in a kit but not by itself but they did sell a another protectant. They had the Chemical Brothers leather protectant but not their leather wash and conditioner. But they sell Groit's 3-1 leather. Walking around the shop floor I thought the displays seemed informative and helpful to the buyer. The service was excellent and went above and beyond. One person who helped me said she uses all the products on her vehicle because she doesn't like to sell a product she hasn't used. She even offered to go outside to look at my car's interior so we could pick the right product for it. She was knowledgeable of the products of course and could give her experienced opinion. That's impressive because they have such metal forming tools in stock so you can play with them before you invest. They have MIG & TIG welders, painting tools, powder coating tools, auto body tools, and much, much more. Don't know how to weld? That's okay, Eastwood's gotcha covered. Believe me, there are more than a dozen times I thought about changing my career and go to an auto mechanic school. That way, nobody can take advantage of me when it comes to car repairs. So, naturally I felt a huge knot in my stomach when my daughter's car stopped in the middle of I-71 on her way back to Columbus, about 70 miles away from Cleveland. We knew what went wrong.... her transmission... I admit that we have been putting it off as long as we could. Everybody says transmission jobs are expensive no matter what they have to do. After my research on the Internet, I decided to buy a re-manufactured transmission and let someone install it. Don't get me wrong... it was not cheap, but as expected. The transmission vendor found A J Automotive to install the transmission for a very reasonable charge. Keith at A J Automotive was my contact person for this job. He sounded very nice on the phone and assured me that they would take care of it in no time! Since the transmission delivery was coming from out of state, we were not sure when it would be delivered to A J. Keith kept me informed of the status by calling me a couple of times before the transmission finally arrived. Once they started to work on the car, he called me again and explained the problem in detail in plain English. Then he explained additional supplies and parts (really minor stuff) that he did not included in the original quote (because they did not know about them until they actually worked on the car) and itemized each price. Very fair. So I think they deserve a 5-star review because I felt like they were very honest. I did not feel like they were trying to take advantage of me, not even remotely. I just had a very pleasant experience and that was my first time feeling this way while dealing with car repairs! Bonus point: A J Automotive has car wash/detail facility adjacent to the repair facility. When they finished with my daughter's car, they washed her car, made her tires shiny, cleaned her windows, then vacuumed the inside of her messy car - at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE! AJ has had my car for 7 days and I only talked wtih Keith twice....I called him both times. I talked with him 2 days ago and he said they haven't looked at my car yet. Today they aren't answering the phone. They closed on Monday for no apparent reason. I am considering calling the police bc I'm not sure my car is still on the premises. I am trying to get my car to get it towed to another garage and no one is available at AJs to help me get my car. This is scary and excessive.

The owner Mike, has always been quick and reliable but he hasn't been there much recently and they have been short staffed so someone else worked on my truck. They charged me 6 hours of labor and almost 1k to fix my plow for a repair I have proof didn't take the guy 1 hour to fix. It takes Just over 6 hours to fully install a plow with all wiring and mounting. Not to repair a leak. Left the shop and my truck barley start and wheb it did multiple lights were on the dash that were not when I brought it there. Truck died in the middle of the street while driving it home. Ended up putting a battery in and appeared fine. Went to plow with my newly fixed plow and less than an hour into plowing it started leaking fluid all over again. Took it back and they looked at it, supposedly fixed in 10 mins and sent me on my way. Guess what? Plows leaking fluid like crazy again and not working. Called and left 2 messages last week asking if I could bring it back to have them fix it properly and if they could call me back and guess what? No call back yet to this day. 9 days later. When Mike the owner is there, the work is quality and things are completely different. He hasn't been there much recently and when he's not the receptionist and mechanics they do have working do not handle anything professionally or at all for that matter. I run a small business so I don't like to write bad reviews about anyone, but after all these issues, multiple calls and messages with no call backs left me no choice. Do NOT go here, or use this place unless Mike is there and you have a GUARANTEE that Mike the owenr will be the one repairing your issue.
