I was in a tight spot financially and…read moreso I sought recommendations online for a mechanic that was both honest and that did quality work. 3 reviews came up and I felt that Mike's Service Station sounded the best. Once I gave Mike the information on the car, I began walking home knowing it would be at minimum an hour or so to fix the issue which according to initial diagnostics, appeared to be a bad starter motor. I was no more than half way home and my phone rings. My car was ready! How could that be? It turned to be a piece of plastic that should have been removed when the battery was installed .... 3 YEARS AGO! I should never have been able to drive the car with that piece of hard plastic on the positive terminal and I've been to mechanics who would have taken advantage of the situation. Not Mike! Talk about honest! He didn't charge me anything even to look at it. I must have some hard working angels. I offered to pay something for his time but he refused. Said he was another shop where the do tire rotations. How the hell am I supposed to know that. Then he said " I said I would call you when it's ready"!
