The 26th came, I was all packed and ready to go. They did not show up. I called and was basically told it was my mistake. They did not apologize or even care about the predicament they put me in. Now, they won't even answer my phone calls. DO NOT give these people your business!! They are awful!! Now the owner wants to comment and have me confused with someone else. I know how much the hourly charge was supposed to be. It was $175. Whoever this person Chelsea is, she should not be the one handling the phone calls.

She then told me they are accepting cash only now after problems with credit cards and such. There was my red flag. My husband and I showed up this morning but Hometown Movers, LLC did NOT. I called her and she said I must have the wrong date. I'm said no, we had a 10 minute conversation at YOUR gave me the date. She finally said she didn't have me written down anywhere, and that I just don't know what she goes through there every day. No I'm sorry, but an offer to move the next day and maybe knock off a couple bucks. Needless to say I wouldn't trust them to show up tomorrow either. Never have I experienced such unprofessionalism in a legitimate business. Perhaps that's the point. Legitimate? Professional? None of the above.

Showed up late and had no moving truck, had to rent a trailer for them to move tw loads. Very disappointed them and their performance. Drug their feet all the way. If you are thinking about using these people you should just rent your own U-Haul and do it yourself to prevent stuff from being ruined or broken. The deal was 1100.00 to pack and move a short distance. In 8 hours they were asking for more money to complete the move. I just rented a trailer and finished it myself. They complained that we didn't have stuff boxed up and they had to do it also. The agreement was pack and move. They cost us probably 500.00 more in food and finishing the move ourselves.
