Thanks to all who work in the A-1 unit (memory care). My brother received kind and compassionate care. The staff connected with him. The housekeeping staff do an exceptional job. Yes, it does look like a hospital more than some extended care facilities. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing care for someone with memory issues. read more

I helped to transfer a resident of our facility to the VA Home. The staff was very nice and very sweet to the gentleman I transferred. The building is very clean but looks very clinical. Grey linoleum floors, the double rooms are equipped with twin beds, TV and a curtain divider for privacy. Residents in the memory care have to wear a security/ alarm bracelet either on the wrist or ankle even tho the memory care unit is secured and locked. I noticed some activities going on close to the lobby in the dining room. Residents where playing chair volleyball and seemed to have fun. There is also a small gift shop with Military trinkets ran by volunteers. read more

Many broken promises from this place... unfortunately they promise the world and that they are equipped to handle all aspects of Alzheimer's but the truth is when things get tough it's out the door you go.. my dad declined dramatically in only a couple of months here. read more

Unbelievably caring staff. True angels. Especially Renee who took such good care of my grandfather. She even came in to take care of him.on her days off. Highly recommend this facility. read more

Unbelievable care is being given to my father. He also had Renee as a nurse on the Alzheimer's Floor. She is a godsend. He has since been moved to another floor where he also has unbelievable nurses and care givers. 5 stars is not enough. read more
