Sold very expensive items of mine for dollars. Refused to return values of high value and when press to return items was Met with coercion and pressure. Not only did Sal hand pick the items he wanted to keep from my collection, but he put a cigarette butt out inside of my Pokémon emerald case that I put on gloves to retrieve and in a plastic bag for DNA testing if required. This guy doesn't just wanna scam you of your stuff. He wants to destroy it and make sure you make no money off of it. As far as he understood it that was a game that was valued at over $200. I am missing trading cards a certificate of authentication for an autograph pop figure as well as some other notable theft. I can happily prove that that cigarette butt was indeed sals, and while I do Smoke I have no ambition to ruin that kind of property of my own. The bottom line is that these people are crooks and they really do want to scam you this is not a fair operation these are not morally corrected people, it is in operation to launder items from people and disservice them with what they are owed and what is returned upon its original condition despite any please you have to have your stuff returned. The illness of the people working there who aren't really working needs to be assessed and organized accordingly. I do not seek reparations in response to the destruction of my property the theft of my property or the refusal to return property despite claiming that they will. Only the everlasting care for my neighbors and raising AWARENESS for what will happen to you if you don't treat this man like he is a God and knows everything and like you are a naïve and inattentive "customer" ... hundreds of dollars lost and stolen. I have very little check for the many highly valuables that were able to sell not because of the eBay store but because they were valuable items the other ones that took an extra day or two to get there I tried to retrieve and they were destroyed. I was belittled and threatened and in the end accomplish nothing and my products were no longer functional because destructive and malicious as well as harmful actions were taken not only to me and my mother but to my belongings with a very clear intent to harm. I suggest that the seller remove their archived pictures from their previous sales on eBay because I promise you that cigarette but will not be in them. And DNA testing is a very real thing and I will go that far but I will get my money back first. Good luck dealing with this rundown Shoddy store because half the reviews are right their place is full of junk and they don't get items as good as what I was suggesting we have inquiries about. I shouldn't have to be sorry for recalling items when it is my right to do so and still have my property destructed by the owner of the business itself and have items taken from me so that what were once valuable items aren't worth a whole lot. I thought I was done with this experience but the more I flip through my stuff I notice more and more extremely aggressive actions taking against my property. If you wanna make money off of it brother don't destroy it and if you want better reviews like you were begging me before I said no and you put cigarettes out in my video game cartridges. It goes beyond not OK and into the realm of vandalism and other violations of the law such as destruction of property. And valuable property at that. Everyone was nice and appeared very organized but apparently they don't get enough traffic to sell much. We left numerous items including some very good men's suits but absolutely none of it was sold after 60 days. Now everything is theirs per the original agreement. They want to scam you. I dropped off hundreds of dollars worth of equipment for them to sell on eBay. Three months later, after not hearing from them I went back to check the status. They sold my stuff for pennies on the dollar to someone out of the store because my stuff was there too long according to them. I received not one cent. The guy told me they don't have time to call people about their stuff but he had time to call someone he knew would purchase my stuff for pennies. He showed me a sign which he failed to alert me to when I dropped my stuff off. This place is way too shifty. read more

Well Folks, The bottom line is I wouldn't let this guy sell anything for me, in store or on ebay. To start, the store is filled with overpriced common collectables like white Fenton and crummy Jasperware among other junk. I happened to stop in one day and he had a nice piece I was interested in. It was a pretty big and heavy antique. Over 20 pounds to be sure. Hey how much for this? Oh sorry, I'm selling that on ebay. You mean I can't buy it here and now for cash? No, but you might get a better price on ebay. (Big Big Maybe) But I have cash. He says he'll ask the consigner and get back to me. Ok fine. Here's my number. Never got a phone call about it either way. So I had offered $75 cash. The piece sold for $87.50 on ebay. Whoever owned that piece got completely screwed by my math. $87.50 final selling price. Less 14% for ebay and paypal fees. $12.25 Less the shipping cost, which he offered free shipping, so if that went to California or Washington, I'll be conservative and say it's $30 (probably a bit higher) Less probably $5 for box and packing materials. Less whatever consignment fee he takes. Let's say 20% (I don't know what exactly the fee is) That works out to $17.50 because you know he's taking 20% of the selling price, not of the profit. That leaves the consigner of the piece a whopping $22.75. Even if his fee is 60% if he sells it in his store, (and I think it's close to that) that's still 8 bucks more for the consigner, and $12.50 less for me. No good deals here for anyone. Should mention his ebay feedback has 15 negatives and 12 neutrals in the past year. read more

I really enjoy shopping here. Always interesting and unique items to look at. I never leave without making a purchase of some sorts. Owner is super pleasant and always makes me feel welcomed when I walk in. I am a re-seller and still find room with his fair pricing to turn a buck or two, although I mostly shop there for myself. I have used several consignment stores over the past few years and I like this one because it gives me the option to sell better items on ebay. Like all consignment stores, customers are expected to be responsible keep track of how long their items have been there. I just put a reminder on my phone. Owner is not friendly and can be rude. I brought in a few items. After two months whatever he didn't sell I went back to pickup. I was 4 days past the 60 day contract and he tells me he's keeping my items. I did sign a contract, ok fair enough but then to continue to sell my items and then not pay me is a bit much. This place is magical the only way I can describe it. I bring stuff in and then poof it turns into money. I was shopping around some gold pieces I had inherited and the owner not only told me what they should sell for (which was more then I was offered at other places) but it sold for considerabily more. After fees I still got more money then I was offered for my gold at multiple other locations. Ohiovilleconsignment.com sold me a Magnavox TV 13". I bought the TV from them on Ebay. The remote they included didn't work, even with fully-charged batteries. 12 days later after I got it delivered to me, it died. I emailed them 3 times over the course of a week. I emailed them from their EBay site page as well as their internet website, their main site in New York. No reply, after now about 11 days. This store is incredible! They sell absolutely everything and the prices are very reasonable. I often stop in this store just to poke around and look for deals...and I always find some. The owner is local and always in the store. It's so nice to see the owner active in the business. I have consigned items here a few times and my items have always sold fast and the check comes in the mail soon after, hassle free. I would cosign again, and highly recommend stoping in when you have some free time to look at all the cool stuff they have around the shop. read more

Stay away. The owner took my antiques and never heard from him again. He sold some stuff and never gave me money for it or proof of what was sold and how much it sold for, then said he donated the rest of my stuff that did not sell and could not show me documentation that he actually donated it. The owner did whatever he wanted and sold my items for next to nothing. He has no idea how to sell expensive or designer items. Please don't waste your time letting him sell anything for you. This guy is a real piece of work. He tells you what a great clientele he has that knows quality yet excepts only a fraction of what the items are worth. I would use a site such as Wallapop before I ever go to the store again. read more
