Well it did say no refunds at the very bottom (small font) which was NOT in clear sight and they know it's not which is why they get away with nonsense like this. It was useless to try and get my point across. They ended up giving me store credit, but I was not interested in anything else from the store because of my experience. I have no interest or intentions of ever going back, and I suggest you go to the supply store next to the Giant grocery store instead (cheaper prices).

I was told I have to buy a stocking cap for $1.00 before trying them on. Not a huge deal. I grabbed a few mannequin heads with wigs and placed them on the back display case and tried them on. The man yelled from the front of the store, that I was only allowed to try on 4. I tried on 5. There was one other customer besides me. The owners weren't busy or helping anyone. The guy could have walked over to me and told me and ask if I needed assistance but he didn't. So rude. Then, I began to put the mannequins away as best as I could remember in what spots I took them from. The man practically ran down the aisle to the shelves and angry rearranged the mannequins. Didn't look at me or ask if I needed anything. Then, he went back to the front of the store and sat on his chair at the register. I will never go back there again. I just read some of the other reviews and the others encountered the same rude treatment. If I could have given No stars, I would have.

A few times I even got to talk to the older Korean women and even practice my Korean with her: A few months ago I popped into the mall before work for a quick bite at the food court. I parked on the Walmart side and walked into the store on my way to the food court. I was just looking around and grabbed some earrings I thought maybe I would buy them but put them back before leaving. I then just looked at a display of bows before heading out. A few minutes later as i'm eating my food in the food court, the older lady comes YELLING causing a scene saying "I saw you steal! I am calling the police!" I was scared out of my mind cause I didn't steal ANYTHING and she was starting to cause a scene. She kept repeating how she was calling the police and pretended to be on the phone with them, but mind you I understand Korean and what was heard from her phone was a news cast on Facebook She dragged me all the way to the store and showed me her book of police filings for people shes called the cops on trying to threaten me. I kept telling her I did not take anything from her and showed her all I had in my hands. She then rerolled the CCTV footage and was insisting that she saw me steal something even though it was my wallet and keys in hand. I did not have a bag or anything. She then realized she was wrong and tried to apologize by giving me some off brand make up palette and even had the audacity to tell me "come again!" When she began working on my hair she asked if I wanted it full, I said no because of how I have to style my hair for work every day. She proceeded to do that anyway then starting cutting braids out when I said I wasn't happy with what she did. Ive had the style in for a week and the braids have been slipping out daily and the braid down itself is literally coming apart at the perimeter of my head. On this past Saturday a full week after me having the style I reached out to Annie to voice my concerns, she asked for pictures and complied. She offered fix it and i let her know that the commute to her and back would be more than two hours and i didn't feel the style would hold up and it would be a major inconvenience to make the drive for a temporary fix. I asked if getting a refund or another style was possible and she stopped responding. I followed up again the next morning asking if there was any way I could be accommodated and this time around she blamed the hair, and my tone from the previous messages. She offered to redo the style if I purchased more hair or to do an equivalent style which I was perfectly fine with. I let her know my Availability and that I did not want another crochet style due to my current experience and I asked what was an equivalent style offered so that I could choose something within reason. I've called and sent a few follow up messages and she has not responded to either. After 3 days of trying to compromise on what would work best for us both I left her a review on her style seat page and she blatantly lied in her response saying "I told you to come back and we fix it or do something equivalent to what you paid. I was ready but you never showed up. If you change your mind, I'm more than willing to still do your hair" my last messages to her were on Sunday, two days ago, and she has been silent. The style itself was very pretty, its just not lasting and for what i paid I absolutely expected more and a week of wear. But, the blatant lie of trying to resolve this to make me appear to be the problem when she know she's been ignoring me is outright ridiculous. Ive also left my review in other places and will continue to do so bc my photos are being deleted in some place. If she actually reaches out to resolve this I will update my review but as of today August 23rd, she has not reached out to me regarding the matter.

Cautionary tale going to this place.... 1. For my natural girls/women; please please please arrive with your hair already washed and blow dried. For them to be African; they DO NOT know the first thing about caring for our type of hair. They do not detangle your hair while washing and when they do detangle your hair; it is bone dry and with a small tooth comb. I made this mistake the first time but smartened up quickly and went my last two times fully prepped. 2. It's a hit or miss with the quality of work. My first visit went great. Had two friendly young ladies working on my knotless box braids. They were fast, efficient and my parts were straight. However, my second and third visit wasn't as successful. There was a constant rotation of people helping my stylist and judging by the little bit of French I do know; she didn't know how to properly part and size the braids. Despite their intervention; my middle part was not in the middle and there were a few braids that were different sizes and lengths. 3. They do not like to take electronic payments (swiping your card) They have the capability to take electronic payment but will pressure you to give cash and to "cash app" them. Just be prepared. 4. Despite their hidden collection of hair; I would come with my own. Based on what I've seen and other reviews; they roll the price of their hair into what they charge and they seem like they have a tendency to open packs they don't need therefore; this may be the reason why their price changes once you get in the chair. 5. It can get loud in there. If you are looking for a more quiet shop; this ain't it. Most of the young women speak good English but they all converse in French. The last braider I had actually didn't speak French but because she needed a lot of help; they started talking about her in French. This was rather unprofessional and I felt bad for her.

I braid hair myself and normally I would just do my hair but because it is my birthday my husband decided to pay for me to have it done. I arrived at the Salon at 10:15 am my appointment wasn't until 10:30 am and at 10:30 am we got started. I had washed my hair but if you choose not to they have a department available to take care of that first. What also got my attention was that if you have a certain type of shampoo you would prefer just bring it with you they don't mind. The salon was clean and very inviting. The young lady who did my hair asked all the right questions before she got started, evening asking if I had a photo which I did. My style was medium box braids. I did supply my hair but you can also purchase hair from the salon. I had three people working on my hair and I surely didn't mind given the time in which they finished. These ladies never stopped and nor did I ask for a break. I'm so happy with the outcome. I'm beyond satisfied. The price was incredible considering I got 32 inches of hair in my head. I did tip each person I only wish I could have given them more but a girl is on a budget. My husband loved my hair. My daughters were happy for me knowing that I usually don't do things like this anymore. I'm just so happy with the way it feels, look and length. I truly will return and recommend that you give them the same opportunity I did. My only negative take-a-way was that I didn't remember the young ladies name that braided my hair but blame it on my nerves.
