This is one of the nicest beauty supply stores I've seen in the DMV since moving from Atlanta where the supply (hehe) was endless. Unlike the majority of the beauty supply stores I've been to lately, there wasn't anything sketchy about this location. The store was well lit, clean, and most importantly well stocked. They carry tons of different brands, including the high end natural haircare lines that are some of my favorites! The weave and wig selection is on point, and they have colors beyond the boring 1B/30. Who am I kidding, 1B/33 is as far "out there" as I can go being a lawyer. But, a girl can look right?!? One point I want to address is the staff. NO ONE followed me around the store. And I'm African-American, often mistaken for Indian, Puerto Rican, Dominican, or anything other than African-American, but I'm brown skin black chick. I was treated just as kindly as the rest of the brown skin women in the store, and I made sure to take note if anyone looked like they were being followed. To the contrary, the staff were very helpful as myself and another patron tried on wigs. It was actually kind of fun hanging out with total strangers on a Saturday afternoon. The markup on the wigs was a bit much once I got home and saw it was cheaper online, but the service and getting it in person were worth it. I plan to frequent this beauty supply store often!

Well it did say no refunds at the very bottom (small font) which was NOT in clear sight and they know it's not which is why they get away with nonsense like this. It was useless to try and get my point across. They ended up giving me store credit, but I was not interested in anything else from the store because of my experience. I have no interest or intentions of ever going back, and I suggest you go to the supply store next to the Giant grocery store instead (cheaper prices).

This Ulta is in a shopping center with several other well-known businesses making it very convenient to pop in without having to continue driving elsewhere. The selection is about 6/10, not bad but nothing to get excited about. The staff was a downer. They had no interest in helping out. It seemed the only time they left the counter was to go check every shopper to see if they were shoplifting. It didn't exactly give off a customer-centric vibe. It was rather uncomfortable. They must have a lot of theft. Maybe they'd have less theft if they bothered to interact with their customers and not just "monitor" them.

I parked on the Walmart side and walked into the store on my way to the food court. A few minutes later as i'm eating my food in the food court, the older lady comes YELLING causing a scene saying "I saw you steal! I am calling the police!" I was scared out of my mind cause I didn't steal ANYTHING and she was starting to cause a scene. She kept repeating how she was calling the police and pretended to be on the phone with them, but mind you I understand Korean and what was heard from her phone was a news cast on Facebook She dragged me all the way to the store and showed me her book of police filings for people shes called the cops on trying to threaten me. I kept telling her I did not take anything from her and showed her all I had in my hands. She then rerolled the CCTV footage and was insisting that she saw me steal something even though it was my wallet and keys in hand. I did not have a bag or anything. She then realized she was wrong and tried to apologize by giving me some off brand make up palette and even had the audacity to tell me "come again!" We were walking towards the door and one lady was wearing a purple shirt and she was holding the door the second employee was wearing all black and she came running to the door and yelled at my family and I because she hasn't been able to go on a break. She yelled at us saying " I haven't gone on a lunch break all day and it is mandatory for me to have a 30 min break you can come back at 4 but we close at 4 " she said it all while yelling at my family and I it was very disrespectful and unprofessional. The wax itself is way gentler and kinder to my sensitive skin, not to mention cooler in temperature than any other place I've been to. (And I've been to lots of spas and nail salons for waxing) Ulta has a very clean environment and never reuses the sticks/supplies as I've seen lots of nail salons do. I started going to Spring several months ago and my hair, and even more so my scalp, are in great…read moreshape. For decades I've had seborrheic dermatitis, so my scalp is flaky and sometimes dry. But oil is not the remedy, it makes it worse. Spring 'gets' it and has been using products that have greatly improved my scalp, without making it oily. Her salon is beautiful and the atmosphere is very calm...almost serene. She's soft spoken and we have great conversations. Going there every two weeks is a really nice experience for me and my hair.

This is definitely a better Walgreens compared to other stores I've been to. I think if the public were more aware of how unfair it's been in terms of getting the support or help to run the pharmacy, people would be more patient or understanding. But it's been definitely a preferred store over others in Manassas.

I had to return my purchase due to the nut clusters looking old and unsavory. I wonder what quality control procedures are used by both companies to provide a good product for consumers. Of note was the product was stocked with the newest boxes at the front of the shelf and the older boxes in the rear. That stocking process seems counter intuitive.
