Ok RV park in Holbrook, Arizona just what we needed. Best park around this area and see Petrified forest or Winslow. Good Wifi and free cable TV. Showers and laundry are good, clean. All spots are long gravel pull through. Some trees but minimal shade or landscaping. Spacing is close but not tight, they alternate directions so it feels like the next vehicle is further away. No road noise pretty quiet. Most people stay 1 night. A few of us are here waiting out a two day wind storm (25-50 mph). Thank you Highway weather app for showing us the max gusts. It's generally a decent park. We have been here several times, BUT I really wish they would trim their trees high and tight so they don't scratch my rig. They have tried to put us in spots that it is so obvious that branches are in the path that I could see it from a distance. The response is like - 'huh?'. I can't fit in this spot without serious scratch damage! Other times they have put me in spots that I can't leave without hitting encroaching branches as I make the turn to leave. Called several times to make a reservation. No one answered the phone. When we got there someone in the office was playing on the computer in the corner. After waiting several minutes the computer user got up and walked to the counter. Apparently she worked there. After telling her what I needed she got out a black marker and started blackening in all the spaces on the park map. She then walked away to help a delivery person and her personality changed to accommodating and happy. When she came back to me she was cold, rude and continued to black out more spaces with her marker. I noticed a big section that had no markings and asked about that area. She said $20 bucks and no hook ups. It was late and dark so we took it. read more

We had 4 nights here to visit the area. The park is reasonably priced & close to the Petrified National Forest and Homolovi State Park. It was really windy most of our visit so we didn't really get to relax at the park. It's definitely older but the staff is great & show you to your space & the restrooms are VERY clean! When traveling we like to stop midway to break up the drive... What a great find this park was! They have nearly 90 spots and they are all drive through! So, if you have a long rig {we have a tow-behind toy hauler} then this works well. It's laid out nicely, so you can find your spot easily. Kathalena was so kind - we had made a reservation and ended up being *nearly* late. We called about a half hour prior to closing, fearing the worst, and she said not to worry that she would wait... no one has ever done that for us! We only had 10 minutes to spare, and she was just as lovely in person as she was on the phone. Traveling across states, it was nice to see they're embracing safety rules regarding COVID-19. The showers were spotless, so we were glad not to have to hook up our water. They're off the highway far enough so that it was peaceful. Lorna was so kind the next morning - I asked directions to a car wash - we chatted a bit. It's under new management and they're expanding. She was really interested in the races we were going to, as they mostly get folks for the balloon festivals. We would absolutely stay again! read more

We stayed one night 2 weeks ago on the way to Las Vegas......zero issues. It was clean, staff was friendly and professional........gave us the low down on where to eat and shop.....had us in a quiet very large space.....which, YES.....it's gravel, but come on....this is the terrain. It was easy in and out and price was so reasonable, To those who complain about the WIFI being slow....YOU'RE CAMPING. Sit outside at night and enjoy nature. read more

I just stayed over night, so I don't know much about the surroundings, but the campground is very clean. The shower's are new, laundry is affordable. Parking on gravel is definitely nicer than in the dirt, it's also very organized and clearly marked. I'd absolutely recommend this place again! read more

We arrived early evening to this RV campground, not having high expectations, and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although this ordinary RV site is not beautiful nor luxurious, it has every amenity (except a pool and jacuzzi) that other RV sites don't offer. BTW-There are few trees on this gravel and paved RV site. Overall, I was very impressed how much a $25 dollars gave us. A quiet campground, showers, laundry, and a huge campsite with ALL the hookups, including Wi-fi. If you don't feel like eating at your RV, there is a local KFC and Mexican restaurant nearby and within walking distance. They also have a petrified wood display adjacent to the park office. If you go with low expectations OK RV Park is just that- "OK" and acceptable for any travel weary person. Although its not the prettiest or nor the nicest RV site I've ever been to, it did deliver on value and good service. I recommend staying there if you are ever planning an overnighter in Holbrook, AZ. read more

We are moving and needed to stop over night. Our RV is packed, so we needed a bathroom. But when we arrived late, there is a lock on the bathroom door, and no code to get in. I don't think the manager thought this through. We couldn't stay with them. read more

We stayed here overnight on our way to California. I checked with the petrified park KOA but they were booked. We came in around 7 pm. The lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful. They have a book of menus from local restaurants to look through. There was plenty of space for our 40 foot fifth wheel. The hook ups were right there and easy to use. We used the laundry facilities ($1.50 for wash and same to dry). It was clean and well maintained. The office provided muffins and coffee in the mornings from 8:00am to 11:00 am which my sons took advantage of. I looked in the bathroom and shower areas. They were older but very clean. The TV park is in a good location. You could walk to a dollar general and a wal-mart. There was a nice Maverick gas station with easy TV access very close as well. I have no idea if we will return to Holbrook but we would stay here again. read more

We stayed at this RV park for 3 nights. Loved it. Clean and quiet. The sites were long and so the parking of the RV's were staggered which really opened up the feeling of space between the RV's. My new place to stop in Holbrook AZ. The staff was extremely nice. I have a 42 ft. RV and a tow car. I was able to get a long pull through and didn't have to unhook my car. The rate was reasonable for a 50 amp full hook up site. Plus they are a Good Sam Park. read more

Great park! Free coffee and muffins from 8 am to 11. Clean bathrooms, usual hook ups for RVs including power, water and cable. Reasonable rate and lots of discounts. Good Sams Club park. Laundry machines available. Friendly staff. But the best part: they have a bunch of petrified wood you can explore right by the office. Super cool! The only downside is the park is pretty plain. This is a very nice, basic RV park with full hookups, level sites and pull through access. The RVs were staggered so we were not looking into our neighbor's windows. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. The location is convenient to the Petrified Forest National Forest and there was food available within walking distance but we did not try. Friendly, level long long sites which were of particular interest to us since we had a 38'RV with a 28' trailer. Quiet nicely lit area but not so much as to have too much light in the RV at night. Definitely recommend. Also next door is an RV repair facility with a mechanic on duty in case any problem arise. Good base camp from which to explore area national parks. read more

This is a very handy stopover we've used several times on our trips to Mesa, AZ. It's a big place with level sand/gravel spaces with full hookups. Easy to use pull throughs for our 40' with tow. Easy on and off I-40. read more

This RV Park is conventionally located, and easy to get in and out of. We used the laundry which consisted of 6 newer washers and dryers. Sites were LONG pull through. Good water pressure, clean bathrooms & showers. Area was sandy with. Little shade, but that's what the town was like. This is a basic RV park., but it has huge RV spaces. It has free WiFi and cable TV. Clear views of the southern sky for those with Internet or satellite TV dishes. Stayed in October, one night. Easy access from the road. Escort to site. Long pull-through so I could stay hooked up. It was extremely windy the day we arrived so it was a big dust field as the whole park is dirt. Site has multiple sewer hook-ups which is convenient. No fenced dog park. Train nearby, heard frequently. The have cable TV but we didn't use it. They even have the cable ready so you can just plug it into your RV. Good WiFi. read more

We have stayed here twice. Nothing fancy, but clean, easy access off I 40, and a step back in history. I love the nostalgia of the dated signs and overall environment. We actually look for a reason to stop here. Did I mention it's one of the few RV parks I have ever visited that has coax cable reeled up and easy to attach to your RV jack. Nice!! read more

This is a little late, but better late than never. We stayed at OK in November 2011. Our arrival was late (11:00 PM) in the pouring down rain. However, the manager heard our diesel engine and came to point out our set and ask if we needed any assistance. WOW, never had that happen before!. Then today, we made reservations and then had to cancel due to change of plans. So pleasant was that interaction. True the park is basic, but it is well located for on and off the main highway and close to resturants. All in all it cannot be beat. We will always stay there when in the area read more
