I took my dress in mid August and it was ready by the first week of October. I was very nervous about the lace and the hemline but it turned out better than I could have ever expected. She added the bustle and put a clear button so it wouldn't take away from the dress or be noticeable. The length was perfect! She also fixed the straps which are completely covered in beads. The straps were too long, she was able to fix those as well and it turned out perfect. She is so nice and very helpful. For the work she did, it was not badly priced. You will need cash. I decided to have my wedding dress tailored at a tried and true small, locally owned business. This was one of the best decisions I made! My dress had a LOT of lace overlaying crepe wrapping from the back of the dress, around the sides, and to the front where I needed it hemmed. My dress fit well with the exception of the length and shoulder straps. They had to take all of the lace off of the bottom of the dress by hand and sew it back on the altered length BY HAND. this was a very meticulous job and they did wonderful. I would recommend any and everyone come here with your needs! My alterations were a fraction of the price as bigger stores, and especially cheaper than getting it done at a chain. read more

I've taken 3 pairs of pants to Lang's over the years and the lady in charge has done a great job with them, both in quality of work and overall timeliness. Plus she's always friendly. Most recently, I brought in a pair of jeans on a Saturday and asked if I could have them done by the following Friday. She had them ready by Wednesday so, depending on how busy she is, she may be able to get your jobs done faster. I'm not sure how pricing is compared to other tailors but I got my pants hemmed and tapered for less than $30. I am so grateful to have found Lang's! I needed my wedding dress altered, along with two formal dresses for the wedding (mother of the bride and maid of honor dresses). She did an absolutely INCREDIBLE job. She was patient and really took the time to pin up our dresses properly. I returned to Oklahoma, after a few years abroad, and had a traditional qipao (traditional Chinese dress) that had tailoring needs. I also had two pants that needed simple hemming. Ms. Lang was so polite and helpful, and had a genuine care for her clients needs. She took so much time to ensure the proper fit, really making sure I felt comfortable and happy with her decisions. The items were completed a day before originally discussed and wow, the qipao fit beautifully - she was able to maintain the zipper on the side, while taking in the dress. I was so impressed and eternally grateful, as I always wanted a qipao of my own to keep up with my heritage. I did also bring in a traditional Arab thobe, however Ms. Lang pointed out that certain alterations might ruin the original craft & style of the designer. I was so moved by the honest feedback, especially since that dress is very special to me. I decided not to get any alterations made, but that feedback shows Ms. Lang genuinely cares about her craft & has passion for what she does. Everyone I came in contact with at this shop was so friendly and helpful! I ordered a custom wedding dress off of Etsy that was made to my measurements. I recently had a pair of jeans and a dress hemmed and they came out perfect! And what's great is they'll hem jeans and keep the original hem. It costs a little extra ($18 total I think) but it's worth it. I've been to other places where they'll hem a dress and it's too short but the tailors hemmed the garment exactly as requested and they fixed a broken snap closure as well. Wonderful experience! They tailored two blazers for my wedding, both needing quite a few alterations. One was even extra challenging because it was crushed velvet, and they tailored both perfectly.
