Despite repeated attempts to work with Designers Furniture Resource, I have been left with a sofa sleeper that is uncomfortable, poorly constructed, and, in my opinion, a complete lemon. There has been no meaningful solution, no opportunity to return the defective product, and no refund for what was nearly a $3,000 purchase. What has been most disappointing is not just the quality of the furniture, but the lack of accountability and customer service after the sale. Temporary fixes were discussed, but the underlying problems with the product remain, leaving me stuck with an expensive piece of furniture that does not perform as advertised. I wanted to support a local design retailer, but this has turned into one of the most disappointing purchases I've made. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business and would strongly encourage prospective buyers to think carefully before spending their money here.

As a loyal customer, I did not deserve to be treated with such a degrading attitude. What was even more concerning was witnessing the way he interacted with his own employees. In front of customers, he repeatedly spoke to his team in a belittling and disrespectful manner. The employees remained professional, kind, and eager to help despite the way they were being treated. It was genuinely upsetting to watch. A General Manager should set the standard for professionalism, communication, and customer service. Unfortunately, this interaction reflected the opposite. His behavior created an uncomfortable environment not only for me but also for the other customers nearby. I sincerely hope West Elm addresses this matter.
