This store lives up to the hype!!! It's a small inconspicuous store with yellow walls and a glass entryway on Montana or on Abbott Kinney for my west siders. Montana's store is a bit larger and thus may have more of the coveted stools/ladders/larger tabletop items in stock. The staff is so friendly and they give you a free tote as a shopping bag! Everything is $25 or less as advertised, although most items are probably in the upper teen-25 dollar range. It is so worth it!!! Came to pick up stuff for someone else so I didn't realize it would be multiple heavy items and the staff did not offer to help a single time. I had to make multiple trips across the road as I came alone and could only lift 1 item at a time and they just ignored my presence whenever I came back to grab the rest of the stuff. Edit: I can confirm they asked me where I parked however it was just that and was not offered help carrying items. They just asked if I had parked close by and I responded with that I parked somewhat close across the street and the conversation ended there. Everything under $25! I'm from out of town and have been dying to visit the store ever since I saw they opened a few in LA. I've been following the brand on IG for a while and finally had the chance to make it down. All the home goods are under $25 - wooden boards, dishes, literally EVERYTHING! If you're on a budget but still need to have an aesthetic home, this is the place for you. I wish I could have bought more but unfortunately I was traveling and only had so much space in my suitcase. I loved looking around the shop and will be back for when I get my own place! They even had other decor in the shop that was for sale like a gorgeous wood night stand with cane webbing for $150 - which is definitely affordable for the piece. I got a mug, wood spoons, bowls, and small dishes for plants here. I also always come here or the Atwater location for house warming gifts/ Christmas gifts or even for birthdays, no more useless stuff for gifting and this place always have something new so I won't run out of options. I frequent this location more than the original now! Either way, I love Goodies. I love supporting AAPI owned businesses and this is one of my favorite ones! They have such high quality items that are priced reasonably (nothing under $25!). I have been lucky enough to snag a ladder, a stool, and several other housewares from them. The ladder is sturdy and beautiful and it has a permanent spot in my living room as a blanket ladder. My other favorite items include a spice/condiment trio with mini spoons that I use next to my stove for salt, pepper, crushed red pepper, & finishing salt and everyone who comes over compliments it! Despite it being wood and being near constant heat, it still looks brand new. The people who work here are awesome too!
