But tonight we went to the Taverna and had a very different experience. My wife had been excited to go out and get Greek food. She wanted the lamb souvlaki plate, and that what she ordered. But when the server brought out our food the order was incorrect. And when we said something about the mistake to the server made it my wife's fault. And instead of saying, Sorry let me fix that or even let me solve this mistake the server got defensive. She made the excuse that the kitchen was backed up and it would take a long time to fix. She did not care to fix the problem. We could have talked to an manager about it, but my wife would not make it a bigger problem. Our service went downhill from that point quickly. Our server stopped coming by or checking on us until it was time for the bill. On the way out someone asked how dinner was and I said it was just ok. I told him there had been a problem, but it wasn't resolved. He didn't ask for more details, and said sorry. That's it. I can't say it was good service was good, it wasn't!
