I have to say that I was extremely disappointed in our wedding photography…read more My Bridal portraits were okay, but I felt like I was rushed the entire session. However, when I got my disk of photos, they were all relatively good. There were several pictures that I was interested in from my Bridal Session, which I did not get. I ask for a disk of all of the photos, and offered to pay for it, and she told me she didn't have them. Just the ones she sent me. On our wedding day, from the minute that we arrived at our venue, she acted confused on what she was supposed to be doing. I had to ask on multiple occasions throughout the day where she was and at one point had to yell for her to get her attention. She was in and out of our wedding as quickly as she could be. We cut our reception an hour and a half short, and I paid for the extra time, which she didn't offer to refund or give a portion back. She is a highly talented photographer in many other avenues, but wedding's are definitely not her strong suit. Not once was I asked what photos were important to me, and I got 1 shot of our wedding party all together, and 1 shot of myself and my bridesmaids together. I didn't get one picture with my flower girl, my ring bearers, no family pictures of my husband and his Dad and sister, not one of my family and myself. Total we spent close to $2K and I would have preferred to spend a little more, or less, and get a total different experience. The most disappointing thing about this experience, was she was recommended by several professionals and mutual colleagues, which made me more apt to trust her ability. I went through all of her pictures online before selecting her and thought I made a good choice. I was wrong. Now all I have left from my wedding day are memories and 200 pictures, which only 3 of them were of my husband and I after our ceremony. I cried when I got our disk.

It may have been cold, but my children were troopers and Audrey did amazing with them. She bonded so much with them in the 30 minutes or so we were with her. She is punctual, caring, captures her subjects perfectly. Our second photo shoot with her was for our adoption. It was not a common photographed event. We were inside a conference room at DHS. She remained professional and got every shot she could in a tight room. She did amazing in such a blessed event. She was able to take the photos with only about a 3 week notice. Our last experience with Audrey was for Valentine's Day. She had a vision and wanted it to come alive in other people's homes. I enjoyed her artistic approach to her passion of photography. We have an upcoming photo shoot for Christmas/family photos coming up in a month or so, and we are so excited to have Audrey do them. We are going outside on a limb with our ideas. In advance, he emailed me some great information on how to prepare and how to select outfits, and provided excellent coaching and feedback throughout. He took the time to talk about what I wanted to accomplish with my photographs and what I thought I would use them for, and he helped me create a few looks that will work across the spectrum of my plans. The whole process never felt like a transaction or that we were "on the clock," and there was never a sense that he would rather be doing anything other than making me and my photographs look great. Highly recommended! Advice to clients: Read the emails and watch the videos, and ask questions! If possible, don't be in a hurry, and try to enjoy the session as much as you can. Being photographed is an active experience, so be ready for that.
