My father paid for 24 hour / 365 days a year availability but they were not able to discuss details with me after 4pm on Friday nor could they speak to me during the weekend bc they were "off". When I finally was able to speak to someone, she kept trying to charge more and more even though the policy was prepaid and I was informed I would have to pay $450 extra to have the funeral on the weekend bc they were "off". As I was constantly reminded, "We do not work weekends." People die on weekends and holidays and I guess these people do not know that. In the end, the funeral director told me I could just go with another funeral home. Nice customer service! In the midst of your sadness, it is the most unpleasant experience to deal with snappy and unsympathetic staff. I highly recommend that you DO NOT use this funeral home. They lack the tact and diplomacy needed in your time of sorrow.

I had to have it soldered by a jeweler to repair it. I think the mortuary should have told me about the gold chain. I don't think I should have had to bring it up and ask for it. If jewelry is removed by a mortuary when they receive a body, it should be saved for the deceased's loved ones and they should inform them. Also, there was a lot of pressure to hurry up and approve the death certificate. Does that mean they have limited refrigerated? Maybe. The sheriffs who discovered my brother's body at home during a wellness check did not have an autopsy nor any medical exam because "there appeared to be no sign of foul play." My brother hadn't seen the doctor who signed the death certificate in three years.

My father passed in a horrific accident, my family came here hoping for a service to honor my dad. Instead we were met with extreme incompetence and hateful people. This funeral home cremated all of my father's clothing after telling our family SEVERAL times that no clothing would be burned. With the clothing was a customized leather biker vest that was beyond sentimental not only to my father but our entire family. The pain of losing this vest, essentially the only thing we had left of my dad, has been beyond traumatic. On top of all of this, to add insult to injury they waited multiple days before informing my grieving mother that they had burned the one thing she specifically asked them to make sure she got back. My mother also explained to them that burning leather in Oklahoma is illegal and she asked for an explanation on how this could happen. The owner told her it's not illegal. Which is a blatant lie and accountability has yet to be taken by anyone as to how his vest got burned. When they did call to finally inform my mother, they started the conversation by saying my aunt, my fathers sister, was "rude" to them after they told her they destroyed her deceased brother's belongings. Finally, after days of arguing over the phone about who is going to take responsibility for burning my father's belongings they decided to tell my mom that she would not receive a refund for the service, but that they would try to replace the vest to the best of their ability. After being told the monetary value of the vest, they quickly changed their tune and decided they wanted to refund the service. My mother was given less than half of what the funeral cost and to this day has not received an apology from anyone. If you care about your family members and if you want them to be honored respectfully. DO NOT COME HERE.

I was also told no matter how long, if We ever want to move the ashes to another urn or container, they would do it for us, even if it's 2 years from now. They let me see him one last time before he went into the chamber. They made me feel as if I was having a human being cared for on their last journey. During the cremation process, the staff let me browse around, and pick out several remembrance pieces, and jewelry items that would hold a small amount of Spooky's ashes. They let me cry, and talk about him. The members of the staff checked on me throughput the cremation process to let me know how much longer it would be, and let me know when Spooky was almost ready for me to take home. The staff let me ask questions, and addressed all of my concerns. They really care. Unfortunately, I will be using them again this week due to the loss of our 13 1/2 year old Toy Poodle, Vivi. Again, I have requested a private Cremation. I hope that this process is as wonderful as the last. I will be providing a review as soon as it is completed.
