We decided to go with The Morgue theme and the max was 8 people which is good because too much people would be chaotic. The master room keeper clearly explain the rules and that they are not a regular escape room place but more of a mystery solver -- which I thought was pretty cool. They have lockers free to use, I liked that a lot. The Morgue consisted of 60 minutes to solve the crime of who killed the person at the morgue. The room was themed very well and although we were stubborn to use our clues, they gave us some freebies which was helpful. The room gave you 12 cards of the suspect, murder weapon, motive and time of death to make a decision. Everything was clear enough to make a decision and we got it on the first try with 10 minutes left to spare. I enjoyed it and would definitely come back to do another one!

The staff there was nice and got us checked in and ready for our escape room. We chose the 'White House' room and the person in charge there really set the mood for us. It was a very neat room with tons of codes to unlock but we completed the mission in 40 minutes with 20 minutes to spare. It had a lot of interesting things inside of the escape room and you exited out of a different door than when you entered but it wasn't too much of an exciting escape room considering that we completed it in 40 minutes. The escape room owner, Mel, supported us through every step of our scheduling. Even though we initially only had time to do two escape rooms on a Friday night (Cairo Connection and Winchester's Widow), she worked with us to squeeze in Tulsa time. The rooms were fun and the puzzles surprised me. Cairo Connection had a mechanic that I have not seen in any other Egyptian themed room. Winchester's Widow was story-driven and had those unexpected twists and turns. Mel also took her time to talk to us and tell us more about the behind the scenes! We arrived about 10 minutes late, thinking it was just a drop-in window -- completely our misunderstanding. But the way we were treated was unacceptable. Claudette, the employee working that night, immediately scolded us like children for being late. She raised her voice, spoke down to us, and made the whole group uncomfortable. This was our first time ever going, and instead of welcoming us, she made us feel like a problem. I had already paid online for 7 people, and 2 more of my friends joined, making 9 total. Claudette told me she needed my card but never explained why. I assumed it was to verify my online purchase -- not to charge me again. Three weeks later, I checked my bank account and found out she charged me for tickets my friends had already paid for themselves. I went in person to calmly resolve the situation, and again, Claudette immediately became defensive and rude. She raised her voice, insisted "I can't help you," told me I was "on camera," and claimed my friends had spent their money "next door at the asylum." She refused to let me speak to the owner and continued arguing, even though I stayed calm the entire time. So I left and disputed the charge. Two days later, the owner called -- not to apologize, not to address Claudette's behavior, but just to question why I disputed the charge. That was the final straw. Never coming back. Terrible customer service. Friends and family -- stay away. There are plenty of escape rooms in NWA with amazing staff and better communication. This place is not worth the headache.
