We were looking for a good escape room and this place had a really good rating so we decided to give it a shot. We decided to go with The Morgue theme and the max was 8 people which is good because too much people would be chaotic. The master room keeper clearly explain the rules and that they are not a regular escape room place but more of a mystery solver -- which I thought was pretty cool. They have lockers free to use, I liked that a lot. The Morgue consisted of 60 minutes to solve the crime of who killed the person at the morgue. The room was themed very well and although we were stubborn to use our clues, they gave us some freebies which was helpful. The room gave you 12 cards of the suspect, murder weapon, motive and time of death to make a decision. We did the pirate and it was really disappointing. It was clear that many of the locks/reveals were broken. Some of the solutions didn't really make sense. And the end was really anticlimactic. The muster twist is fine but doesn't work when nothing else does. read more

My group had a good time, but then we always do no matter what. We weren't all that pleased with the experience though. Staff was fairly curt and rushed thru instructions to get us going. The room was too dark and we were not informed beforehand that we would need a flashlight. I had walked off without my phone, so was dependent on others to shine where I wanted to search. They should provide flashlight if someone doesn't have one, or at least let you know you're gonna need one. Some of the prop pieces were broken, making it difficult to solve problems to get clues. Occasionally a n extra clue came up on a screen, but didn't stay long enough for people in the second room to come read them. If a few of these problems were resolved, it would be a much better experience. read more

Went New Year's day 2024 to get out of the house with my husband and 2 grown sons. Actually one of the nicer escape houses I've been to. We chose the Wizard murder. Think Harry Potter but not Harry Potter per se. Probably the hardest escape room I've very experienced. We took the entire 60 minutes (+ 5 seconds) with help from our game master to complete it. I'm giving 4 stars only because most of the clues were pretty vague and honestly we wouldn't have found many of them without the game master helping. I expect it to be hard but this was beyond hard, requiring quite a bit of detailed reading in a dimly lit room. We had a complete BLAST here! Our adrenaline was as high as if we were 4-wheeling through the woods. We looked up and it'd been 50 minutes and we only had 10 left to solve the mystery. Time really does fly when you're having fun!!! I will 1000000% be going back!! I did it with my best friend but this would be a perfect date night with the hubby/wifey! Worse waste of money ever. The young man that escorted us in spoke to softly and fast assuming we knew and understood everything, even though he knew it was our first time. He basically just put us in the room and we were supposed to know what to do. We had no clue. Then he gave us clues that were incorrect and then the correct clue didn't work. He and another employee had to use a bolt cutter to get the lock off. They said previous guests changed the code. We were so annoyed and frustrated we left early. They didn't explain how it worked. A creaking door sound meant something opened for a new clue, but there was no way to tell where, what, or how. The whole thing was a scattered, jumbled mess. very disappointing!! read more

Took my daughter and her friend to the morgue. We really had a good time. ( that sounded weird lol) It was difficult without being tooooo hard to solve. We got hints when we asked for them and we were also nudged in the right direction before we got frustrated and turned on each other. We have done their 3 available rooms now and enjoyed them all. They have a unique spin on "escaping" we hadn't really seen before, so it adds to the experience. SUMMARY - WASTE OF TIME! UNHELPFUL STAFF. NO ONE WOULD BE HAPPY TO WAIT 45 MINS PASSED A "RESERVATION" FOR ANYTHING. On 8/13/2022 we reserved the Forensics lab escape room for a party of 4 at 11:15pm. Instructions said to be 15 mins early. We arrived at 11:00pm, filled out the waiver form and were told to wait for someone to come get us. We waited til we saw an employee, a young lady came to the stairs at 11:28pm and told us she had to reset the room. Since we were already 13 minutes passed our reservation time, I asked how long? She said it would be 5 minutes. My friend asked if we were getting the full hour since we were late starting. She said yes. So we said if they weren't ready in 10 minutes, we just want a refund. The young lady said yes maam, apologized and was very polite. My friends even tried to use the restroom which had no toilet paper and no soap.... We waited until 11:44pm (14 minutes after we were told it would be 5 mins/and 30 mins after our reservation) before going up to the desk. The employee at the front desk was not helpful, and not willing to be helpful. She was on her phone. She blatantly accused us of yelling at her friend. She wasn't willing to even give us an explanation as to why it was so late passed our reservation time and she was told numerous times that's all we wanted to know. We don't mind waiting had she communicated with us about the wait time and them being behind schedule. She kept saying "You can talk to my manager" but wouldn't get her on the phone. Then she said she could just go ahead and take us up to the room (even though we were never told room was ready, just that "her friend was too upset and couldn't compose herself to even get it ready"), but never moved in the direction to do so, so I told her we'd just like our money back. She gave us the managers number, I tried to call a few times and never got any answer. As I was calling, my friend walked up and tried to explain to her in another way our frustration. She refused to listen and told us to "I don't even want to work the room for you guys, just get out". We said not until we get our money back, she said "You will get your money back, but you have to get in touch with my manager." I said we were going to dispute the charge on the card first. So we stood there to do that, and then we left at midnight. 45 minutes after our reservation. read more

I was visiting family in Tulsa for the weekend and really wanted a fun family activity and found Murder Escape. It was the perfect option! We did the Morgue room (which was not too gory but just gory enough) and it was everything we had hoped and more. It was a welcoming atmosphere. This was my wife and daughters first time in an escape room. It was very frustrating. The room we booked was completely dark. It would've been nice to mention that on the website. We wouldn't have booked it had we known that. After our time was up we learned that we actually had all the correct info to solve the mystery and had entered the correct codes but the mechanical props in the room were worn and weren't working. There was a phone in the room that didn't work. A padlock that was struck, and a door with a punch code that didn't open. We wasted a lot of time trying other codes not realizing we had entered the correct codes but the equipment wasn't working. Very annoying. Our game master entered the codes afterwards and she had to enter the codes multiple times to get them to open and to get the phone to work. How could we know these things weren't opening due to equipment failure as opposed to us just not having the correct codes? We drove 2 and a half hours to visit this business. It was a waste of time, gas, and money. I'm not sure I will be able to get my wife and daughter to try an escape room again after this experience. read more
