Our stay was 4 nights and we booked several experiences for our time there. The first was a 90 minute massage. The massage room overlooks the marina and is beautiful. The massage itself was just okay. He asked the area he should concentrate and actually that area felt the least attended to. However, it was still very relaxing. My friend and I also booked "Hot winter night" at the infinity pool. This was so much fun as they have an adult hour and lucky for us the center above the pool was hosting prom. Yep- we got our dancing queen on. Might have annoyed the cute couples around us, but a girl's gotta dance! We also booked the "Floating in Frequency" on that Sunday morning. It was a small class and we drifted comfortably around the pool to the sound bowls. Highly recommend! Food is great at the resort and Beverly's "Lakeview Menu" is a great deal. Available until 5:30 each day, you get a 3 course meal for $29.99 with an optional wine pairing for $24.95. We had a window view and got to know the local geese (guarding their nests along the edge) June 2026- Had another friend in town and of course wanted her to experience this resort. We stayed 4 nights in Lake Tower and this time had a west facing view which had beautiful sunsets. The outdoor pool had opened, but we only visited once as it was windy and cold. Instead, we booked a "Girl's escape package" This included massages for both, lunch, and a pedicure. We had a great time. July 4th weekend 2026- This was a last minute book for us, and if we planned ahead would have gone for Lake Tower. However, we were pleasantly surprised at our view of the fireworks from the Park Tower Marina room (stay was 3 nights). This was probably the best for us since we had our dog Luna. It didn't have a balcony, so better for her not to hear the load booms. We spent a day at the infinity pool (rented a beach cabana) and ate dinner early. Then spent the time in the room waiting away for the crowds. The show was amazing and I've never been so close to fireworks with such an amazing view. We had an amazing time!

The hotel is ok...but missing several things I expect from a property billing itself as four stars: -some of the staff was kind, but more than one were short or rude. -hotel does not provide shampoo or conditioner. Unbelievable for a four star property. If you want it, you must go and buy it during regular business hours at the rec center. -New towels are provided only on Tuesdays at the towel exchange. Not very helpful when your stay is Thursday through Sunday. -You are fined if you do not wash the dishes and empty the dishwasher and take out the trash in your own room. this is buried in the checkout instructions (when was the last time you opened a room folio to even read the check out instructions at a hotel). Pretty draconian since it's very non-standard for other properties. See my pictures. This and many other rules are excessive and controlling. Cameras everywhere with staff coming to question your compliance with minutia -Felt on edge all weekend due to staff not picking at us and kids. Not a good place to relax.

The rates we paid were really reasonable, but not certain if these are available to everyone or not. Our family is 4 mini families and we were each able to get our own rooms of various sizes, all with kitchens. This allowed us plenty of privacy and time to decompress while still letting us utilize the amenities together. The rooms were nice and clean, no complaints there, all had balconies. We had a couple barbecues at the community picnic areas, made good use of the recreation center, toyed around with the driving/putting range and dined a couple times at the golf course restaurant. My Dad played the golf course but it seems that the other clientele do not enjoy having people on the course who are not skilled at the game. The rec center has a variety of things to do from net sports, to racquetball, to basketball, pool, hot tub, steam room, etc. We enjoyed the saltwater pool and hot tub, although it is very bizarre to me that you have to walk down a hall dripping wet and freezing to access the hot tub/steam room. The hot tub is big so at least you are unlikely to walk over there and find it too full to get in. We were able to do water aerobics one day, but these really should be offered more frequently. There is a mini golf course on site which does cost an additional fee, there are also bikes available to rent. A trail circles the resort, some of it paved, some of it dirt. I hear you can fish here, but none of us did that. Seems you can not swim in the lake. This is a bit of a drive from most things so if you want to go to restaurants and places like Silverwood, Courdelane, Sandpoint, etc be prepared to spend a lot of time in the car. I would have preferred to stay somewhere that was closer to things to do. There is not much to do here once it gets dark. Some of the staff were not the friendliest.

It was just prior to Memorial Day weekend, so spring had sprung we had geese with babies parade through our yard and private beach. There were bald eagles and deer everywhere. We had one bald eagle that sat on a tree for hours almost every day. The natural beauty is unrivaled and the owner and his son were so helpful and friendly. We sat for hours outside just enjoying the natural beauty and wildlife. Farragut State Park is literally right next door to the resort, a must see. We loved it there so much that we would love to retire to the area. Thank you for an amazing stay and the most adorable cabin and private beach. Also, everything you could possibly need is in the cabin, including a wine opener so you don't have to bring one. Thank you for making our 25th wedding anniversary so magical!!!!

I did not know what to expect being that this place was in rural Idaho. I was amazed when I saw it. The place is beautiful! Everything is brand new, and the accommodations are fantastic. Tony who runs the place with his family was a gracious host and doubles as the chef. The meals were outstanding. They offered breakfast, lunch and dinner and even had adult beverages to enjoy in the evening. The place was well secluded and offered beautiful scenic views of the mountains and the lake behind the property. The lodge is perfect for meetings, events and even a nice place to take your loved one or a place to stay during the winter for snowmobilers. Several other families had dogs including several off leash running around... seemed friendly. After some time a very angry woman began yelling that no dogs were allowed on the beach. Signage all over the area and the only mention was dogs needed to be on leash. Went back inside and asked again and was told dogs were allowed but would call the owner. After talking with the owner, the woman who was yelling about no dogs on the beach, was told dogs west of the boat ramp was "OK"..when asked about the dog running loose was told "that's the owners dog..." Terrible manners and to yell at someone in front of friends and family was uncalled for.

We own the timeslot that is at the end of June and beginning of July over the Fourth of July. The weather is always 85 to 95° with warm waters and the lake is amazingly always very open. Meaning you can be on the lake July 3 or fourth and maybe see 10 other boats on a busy day. They also have a firework show that lights up the entire leg. It's put on by Sandpoint and it something we look forward to sharing with our family and friends every year. There are also some new people that come every year that you get to meet from all around the US and we have friends that we have seen there year after year and become close with every year for the last 20 years. This is also the fifth deepest lake in the United States with some parts over 1000 feet deep they used to do submarine testing and part of the northern mountains were a glacier tens of thousands of years ago. Same point is one of my favorite towns in the Pacific Northwest with great food, cold beer, and fun places to eat and explore around the city it's a perfect destination for a family to visit for a few days during the summer.

The young waitress brought me the worst most sour tasting green drink I have ever had. When I asked her what it was she said she didn't drink so she didn't know what a Mai Tai was, she just made something up. Ok, we are a long way from civilization so I smiled and asked for water, pushing the green thing aside. My man enjoyed his prime rib very much which came with baked potato and bread. I had a baked potato and a salad from the salad bar. Potato was good. The salad bar was pretty much what you would expect for a wilderness lodge off the beaten path, packaged lettuce, a few veggies and bottles of drippy dressing in an ice tray. We appreciated our meal since we had been camping for a while, so no complaints except for the unusual Mai Tai cocktail that sat there. Service was slow, several people ordering drinks at the little bar, slowed the one and only waitress down. We will come back again next time we are up that way camping, but I would suggest asking WHAT cocktail the waitress knows how to make. I hear they have some signature cocktail that has a lot of alcohol in it - perfect for soothing weary mountaineers.

They had life vests on, but still struggled by the waves. I watched a mom call in her young kids swimming in the designated swim area as the waves he caused were so big a young child had to be helped by a parent. Shame on you!
