We had a great stay at Stoneridge Resort. We rented two rooms with very different layouts. The bigger of the two rooms had a great kitchen area along with two closets that allowed for storing all of our clothes for the week. The views were also amazing! The golf course was in pretty good shape. We played it two different times. The best part was we were allowed to play a 5-some. Not a lot of courses allow that. The food at the course after was decent for the area and was decently priced. We loved that the resort offered a lot of different options outside of golf. The putt putt area was great for some family fun since the weather was gorgeous. They do offer pickleball but the courts are by 16 tee box on the golf course. We didn't find these until our last day. Do not spend the time setting it up/making your own pickleball in the gym. Overall we had a great stay in a clean area. Would recommend for anyone looking for a secluded area with some fun family activities to do. read more

Rooms old, minor disrepair. Most patch jobs are hack job repairs noted in room and throughout the property. Bed not comfortable and pillows thin. The hotel is ok...but missing several things I expect from a property billing itself as four stars: -some of the staff was kind, but more than one were short or rude. -hotel does not provide shampoo or conditioner. Unbelievable for a four star property. If you want it, you must go and buy it during regular business hours at the rec center. -New towels are provided only on Tuesdays at the towel exchange. Not very helpful when your stay is Thursday through Sunday. -You are fined if you do not wash the dishes and empty the dishwasher and take out the trash in your own room. this is buried in the checkout instructions (when was the last time you opened a room folio to even read the check out instructions at a hotel). Pretty draconian since it's very non-standard for other properties. See my pictures. This and many other rules are excessive and controlling. Cameras everywhere with staff coming to question your compliance with minutia -Felt on edge all weekend due to staff not picking at us and kids. Not a good place to relax. read more

My parents are timeshare owners here. We first visited 30 years ago and made it back this summer for a family vacation. The rates we paid were really reasonable, but not certain if these are available to everyone or not. Our family is 4 mini families and we were each able to get our own rooms of various sizes, all with kitchens. This allowed us plenty of privacy and time to decompress while still letting us utilize the amenities together. The rooms were nice and clean, no complaints there, all had balconies. We had a couple barbecues at the community picnic areas, made good use of the recreation center, toyed around with the driving/putting range and dined a couple times at the golf course restaurant. My Dad played the golf course but it seems that the other clientele do not enjoy having people on the course who are not skilled at the game. The rec center has a variety of things to do from net sports, to racquetball, to basketball, pool, hot tub, steam room, etc. We enjoyed the saltwater pool and hot tub, although it is very bizarre to me that you have to walk down a hall dripping wet and freezing to access the hot tub/steam room. The hot tub is big so at least you are unlikely to walk over there and find it too full to get in. We were able to do water aerobics one day, but these really should be offered more frequently. There is a mini golf course on site which does cost an additional fee, there are also bikes available to rent. A trail circles the resort, some of it paved, some of it dirt. I hear you can fish here, but none of us did that. Seems you can not swim in the lake. This is a bit of a drive from most things so if you want to go to restaurants and places like Silverwood, Courdelane, Sandpoint, etc be prepared to spend a lot of time in the car. I would have preferred to stay somewhere that was closer to things to do. There is not much to do here once it gets dark. Some of the staff were not the friendliest. read more

This was our first trip in months. Overall a good experience. The property is nice. They seem to be doing well with the Covid protocols. This was over Labor Day weekend (week) and I'd guess the resort was pretty much at capacity (until we had to evacuate due to a forest fire). We had a one bedroom. Being still a fairly warm time of year (early September) the hotel style in-wall air conditioning unit struggled to cool the entire one bedroom unit. The A/C is located in the living room and you can cool that room into the 60's but it is very difficult to get the cool air into the bedroom which has a skylight that helps heat it up too. We brought our own tower fan that helped. This is why I subtract one star. We were in building 9 and it looked like some of the lower number of buildings had newer min-split type A/C units which we've had in Mexico and they work great. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking with a standard oven, utensils, dishwasher, and slightly smaller than average fridge. Being a timeshare type resort they have a lot of amenities and the resort is located on a golf course. They have mini golf too. The recreation center has a lot of amenities - racquetball, pickleball, badminton, volleyball, wally-ball, basketball, corn hole, ping pong, a pool table, large indoor swimming pool, large hot tube, steam room, small fitness center with a locker room. They have a kitchen area, and an ice machine in the recreation center. Ice machines are shut down due to CV-19. They also appear to have the normal resort type of daily activities calendar that may interest kids. We did have to evacuate due to a forest fire that was nearby. We ended up going to Wallace for a couple nights since we planned on riding the trail of the Hiawatha anyway. We did lose most of the items in our fridge since the power was out for quite a while due to the fire. The evacuation lasted almost exactly 24 hours, and I was able to contact the resort by a cell number they provided at the end of their automated answering machine. The resort is in a good location to get to Spokane, Farragut state park, Coeur D'alene, Priest Lake, and Sandpoint. I would definitely return. read more

Rooms are clean, all have nice views. We stayed in a two bedroom and a studio during our two weeks there. There was lots to do, but the pub had a limited food menu, and there's not a lot around for dining options. We went up to Newport for groceries. The power went out during a short rainstorm the second week we were there, and didn't come back on for two hours, and we had a small child with us, so we went down to CDA for the night. There are no backup generators, which is surprising, since it's in the middle of nowhere Idaho, where power goes out all the time. We lost about $200 worth of groceries. With no information about how quickly the power would be back, we went to CDA for the night. The power was ultimately out from 5pm-9pm, but we left at 7pm. We asked the next day about any form of compensation for the grocery loss and were literally laughed at by the same woman who, the day prior, was laughing with a coworker about an employee's health benefit question and making fun of her. The employee in question wasn't there that day. But the manager was berating her right in front of my fiance in the main lobby. The kicker is, the employee they were making fun of is the nicest one we've encountered here. As timeshare members, we were thinking this would be a nice place to spend a cozy winter weekend, but I absolutely will not be doing that now. Imagine the power going out in the dead of winter and being unable to leave due to snow? No thanks! Plus, management is highly unprofessional and rude. Never seen anything like it in the hospitality industry. Whoever owns this place needs to really re-think what their goal is, employing people like that. read more

We stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it. It really does feel like a resort rather than a hotel. We stayed in a spacious 2 bedroom with a large deck and full kitchen. It also had a pull out couch so everyone had lots of room to sleep. The resort itself you can tell is kind of old, but they were making lots of renovations while we were there. We utilized the recreation center every day. The court has lots of fun activities, the arcade room was fun, and the pool, sauna, and hot tub were awesome. All felt very clean and well kept. We did a couple of the weekly activities (painting, ice cream, scavenger hunt) and my kids loved all. This is such a special location because you really feel close to nature, but if you need to go grocery shopping it's a quick 15 minute drive, and if you want to go to a big town for restaurants or entertainment there a couple options 45 min away. Since we weren't there in the summer we did not get to play golf or mini golf, but both looked very fun. I should also mention that all the staff we dealt with were very very nice and welcoming. read more

We stayed here through our vacation travel club, and are glad we did. Super friendly and efficient staff. Good activities. A lot of amenities. The recreation center offered a lot. Indoor salt water pool, 12 person hot tub, steam room, dry sauna in the locker rooms, full size gym with sports equipment. So much more! We had a studio. It seems most are studios. For being a studio, it was nice! Well decorated. Very comfortable bed. They even supply a hamper to take your wash to the guest laundry. We will gladly stay again!! read more

This was our first time at Stoneridge. We traded into the property through RCI. They have a very limited supply of large suites, so we took a studio. The studio has a small living area with a fold-out sofa bed, dining table, small kitchen, and queen sized bed. It is fine for a couple, but I can't imagine having 2 more people in here with us, we would have been on top of each other for sure! The bed itself is very soft. I found it comfortable for sitting and sleeping on. The couch was also very comfortable for sitting. The small kitchen came in very handy. There is a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and electric stove. Pots, pans, dishes and utensils are supplied and I found everything to be clean and ready for use. This is a definite plus, because some timeshare studios don't have dishwashers or stoves. The resort is located in a golf community. The setting is gorgeous, there is a walking trail and small private lake. There is also a good sized recreation center with pool, spa, sauna, weight room, etc. I have a feeling this resort is popular with families, and they offer weekly activities for adults and kids. Parking was easy as well. They also have coin-op laundry facilities. You are about 45 minutes from Coeur D'alene, and within driving distance of several lakes, where there are beaches for swimming, trails for hiking, and plenty of fun to be had. The next town over is Spirit Lake, and they have a cute downtown area and a lake with a swimming beach and boat launch. We definitely had a great time at Stoneridge and will be returning in the future! read more

We booked this place as a time share but I think if there are openings you can book with cash. It is a great place to vacation with children. There are so many lakes and rivers in the area it is stunningly beautiful. The resort sports an 18 hole golf course, a miniature golf course, pool, racquet, tennis and pickle ball courts, indoor warm pools and daily activities. Plenty of bbqs and picnic area. I couldn't give 5 stars because the rooms are old but clean and comfortable. The full kitchens are pretty small. The 4 burner electric stove is only 2 feet wide and the dishwasher is about 18". There is a restaurant on site but to go out to dinner is a 20+ minute drive and options are limited. So you probably would want to cook which is challenging for a large group. If you want to see sites other than nature come up after Memorial Day as many summer activities don't start until then. There are three two story buildings with one and two bedrooms. Ask for a golf course view or you will be looking at the parking lot. Coin laundry on site. Spokane is the nearest airport but it was a beautiful albeit 7 hour drive from Boise airport. We split it into 2 days with a stop in Lewiston. So yes, do come. It is a pristine part of the US that few ever get to experience. read more

We got a timeshare room at Stoneridge Resort in April 2023. It was our first time going there. It is located in the middle of no-where. But the resort itself in pretty nice with a large rec center and lots to do. They have an active events coordinator for kids as well as adults, which is surprising as most timeshares don't offer this activity. Golfing was still shut down so it would be better to visit in May or later. We spent a lot of time driving an hour each to visit Sandpoint, Coeur d'Alene and Spokane. Make sure and visit the Kalispel Casino about 45 minutes away. The room was spacious and although dated they keep the facility updated and clean. So, overall a nice stay in their resort and we recommend it. read more

We stayed in a 1-bdr unit in Bldg 9. We had bikes and a cooler to haul to our 3rd floor unit. The luggage carts between bldg8/9 and elevator were greatly appreciated. Our unit had air conditioning in the living area. In September, we were hot at night. The bedroom ceiling fan and small fan provided helped. Fortunately, we brought a floor fan with us. I would have been miserable without it. There's plenty of storage space in the unit. It was great having two dressers and extra hangers. The only thing lacking was toiletries. Be sure to bring your own! We shared a deck with another unit. Neither of us used the deck due to the heat. In cooler times, a shared deck would be a great opportunity to socialize. read more

I love reviewing a good stay , so here I am. My family and I enjoyed staying with you guys and plan on coming back again next year. There were many great things about this resort and just a few small problems. I will mix those two categories together in my description but don't get me wrong. Pulling into the parking lot wow it's super pretty up there very quiet and peaceful. Love the late night sprinkler sounds out the window and the a/c in the very spacious rooms were nice to have. The parking lot itself is very large and can accommodate just about any size car or truck and trailer so I love that. Also a bonus I was able to park next to my outside deck to see my car if I wanted too. The room smelled bad like a old casino someone had smoked in for 30 or more years. There were ash trays in the room but it was clearly marked no smoking. I didn't raise a "stink" about it because I honestly didn't plan on staying In the rooM we are an active family. The pool is large but the salt water burned your eyes even if you just kept your face above water. I've swam in salt pools before in Seattle and else where nothing is this salty I would look into that more before taking littles in. I like the person gym and basketball court though there wasn't much else to do there. Maybe covid shut down some of the activities , no matter the stay was excellent. The bar restaurant a walk away was so cool my 8 year old son made a hole in one off the restaurant deck, after this group of intoxicated people had been trying for hours to do the same. He just steps up and nailed it what an uproar that made and someone paid him lol. I won't forget that memory anytime soon. I like all the details in the room it felt like a log cabin nature feel. The tv had too many remotes to figure out. it should be user simplified I'm only 40 and I felt 80 years old trying to fumble all those hand remotes to flip one station. The showers are super hot loved that as well they don't bother you here much you just kinda come and go it's easy to enter and exit the building I like the ease of not needing help for any little thing the self serve keeps that feel or hey I'm relaxing which is pretty cool. read more

I've been coming up here to a Stoneridge timeshare for many years. It is in a beautiful area of the country. The main things you can do here are: Golf Mini golf Pool (Huge saltwater pool with outdoor access, but very comfortable all times of year) Sun bathing (lots of lounger chairs) Basketball Racquet Ball Wallyball Gym Hot tub (indoor) Read Rent DVDs Do craft activities or hikes I would love to see: A bit more professionalism and consistency from the staff. Sometimes they are really awesome, and sometimes they are kind of cranky. Esp. with rules in the rec center. We experienced different staff with different rules about mini golf rental for our toddler. Is it free or is it not free? Less mess from the construction. Yes, they are in a remodeling phase, but that doesn't mean it has to be messy. (Random supplies just sitting around- aka 5 gallon of paint by building 9, half of the basketball court taken up with unassembled furniture with a random partition blocking any full court games, drinking fountain at golf course partially assembled, temporary bannister in building 9 2nd floor missing a rung, etc.) Internet- it was very annoying on vacation not to be able to easily be online especially since our cell reception was almost non-existent here. You can get online, but the free service is fickle and only allows one device per room. I think it should just be free for guests and unlimited. read more

So, first major issue was the resort "lost" the reservation for a handicap accessible room for my mom. They tried to made her stay in a room that has about 50 stairs, did not want to help at all! When I got there, I had a ground floor, and was able to trade, but it was not easy, and the front desk always had a loooong line waiting to check in. Looks like everyone has already commented on the poor wifi situation there, made worse for us as Verizon is the only cell tower for several miles around. Our one-bedroom suite was tiny, with low ceilings (with acoustic tile!!), very dark and gloomy. One sliding glass door to a very small deck overlooking the parking lot, no other windows. The A/C unit was just in the bedroom, which would be freezing cold, while it was hot in the living area. Unlike others, the front desk DID answer our call about the wifi, because they had changed the access codes, and not updated their books. I connected with my phone, and could never disconnect so I could use my tablet. The best news, this was (overall) a great place for a family reunion. Golf for those who play, tennis courts, lots of walking trails, good views, a clubhouse with a kitchen that worked great for an all-family meal, and a covered picnic area with both gas and briquet grills. Other fun touches were a giant sized checkers game, play structures, and a big dirt hill (left over from construction) that the kids loved to play on. In other good news, while there is still construction going on, the miniature golf area was in pretty decent shape, and the pool had water in it! Here's the BEST news! You don't have to stay at the time share units! My sister rented a fully furnished condo (VRBO?) that was right by us, with all the amenities, but it was really nice. Both of my boys learned how to swim in their pool and i would love my daughter to be able to do the same but sadly, you cant just go use the amenities without a timeshare. I rented a room once and the price was reasonable and we spent most of the time in the rec center. The kids love it there! read more

Stoneridge Resort was a timeshare exchange for us. The Lodge is more hotel than lodge. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The living space was quite small and included a corner kitchen which was satisfactory and well supplied with utensils and dish wear, a table and 4 chairs, an armchair, a foldout couch, a small freestanding mantle with electric fire and a TV on top. There were 3 of us, we brought our young adult granddaughter. She had the fold out couch and we were pretty squished together if she wanted to go to bed early or get up late. There was a single rather small bathroom. Fortunately, the cubby with the toilet and shower were closed off from the sink and vanity or it could have become rather awkward. It was clean and quiet, except for the occasional running children in the hall and room above ours. There was a large activity building with a big swimming pool, racket ball rooms, a gymnasium for basket ball and dodge ball, and an upper loft with a small library, pool table and craft/game space. Craft activities were offered multiple times a day for a small fee. Games and cards were available for loan. Aqua aerobics was offered Mon. and Wed. mornings. We were here in March and there was plenty of snow and ice. It snowed on 2 of the days we were here with no real accumulation. The side walk was always clear, but there were icy spots on the drive and snow in the parking slots. We went out to surrounding towns to sightsee and and go to local music venues. We used an urgent care during our stay. We had a very good family time and would come back again. read more

I am here on a business trip I will be staying at this location for probably over a month. This is a golf resort and this is one of the few locations that I can actually reside in in order to do business in nearby Newport. As I stated this is a resort and to be more specific and is a golf resort. The rooms are sold online as condos. My room in general is pretty spacious it has a full kitchen along with amenities. The only letdown that I could see is that you have to pay for room service and it is $40 a pop. As I stated this is a golf resort so you can play golf you can play tennis they have an indoor pool and basketball court as well as a workout room. They also have weekly activities Monday through Friday. This place is beautiful any direction that you look just gorgeous. read more

The pool is nice and refreshing, and the spa is cozy and relaxing. They also offer a dry and wet sauna that is divine. The rooms are always clean and fresh, as well as extremely comfortable. Great place out in the Norther Panhandle of Idaho. Lots of things to do at the resort. The kids love the art projects, pool (wish they could jump off the sides), steam room, mini golf. The bikes needed some work but it was nice they had them to rent. Racquet ball court was in good shape and the gym is always good to have. The staff is definitely a 5 star rating. read more

My wife and I traded in and were given a non-owner (no view of the golf course, no big deal) room. The room has a large fridge, small stove/oven and dishwasher. Plates and utensils are all provided. The wifi wasn't super fast, but you can now connect with multiple devices as they just upgraded. Very clean and upgraded resort. Nice pool, hot tub with a steam room. We're not golfers, but put-put golf was a fun activity. Reasonably close to other activities in beautiful northern Idaho and eastern Washington. Would definitely come back here again. read more

We rented one of studio time shares for a night and it was well worth the money spent. It was a bit far out after our day at Silverwood and extended our drive home but beat a hotel by a long shot (especially the one we had stayed at the prior night). The studio was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Plus it was nice to have a full kitchen if we needed it. We made use of the pool and hot tub and wished we had more time to enjoyed the other amenities. The staff was great with the exception of the girl in the rec center who had a bit of an attitude and everyone staying there were friendly. This place also had beautiful surroundings and was settled right on a golf course. The only downfall we could find was that the people above us were loud and walked heavy between 3 & 4:30am. Othet than that it was a great stay! read more

Stayed here three times over the last 2 + years. Just a couple nights each stay. Excellent construction. It'll be here for some time to come. HVAC, mattress, bedding, shower, towels, zero issues. Did have to reboot the tv box a couple times, but it comes up fine. Heck of an indoor pool for this neck of the woods, and a basketball court that a pro would find serviceable. The only negatives I can think of is if you happened along late summer during an especially bad fire season. Smoke-wise. I didn't experience that, just sayin'. It's cost prohibitive in this geographic area on this large of scale to provide every tech & entertainment - viewing option that us urban - suburban folks are used to. Lastly, winter is really winter here, and lasts awhile. This place is a 4 season beauty. We ate out by choice. Except for Spirit Lake (and going home), we like to go North and East. It's country here, but even more so that direction. Just beautiful. Breakfast in Spirit Lake - Annie's Country Kitchen - may have to wait on weekends if you don't get there early. Lunch and Dinner = The Settlement, Priest River. Also Sandpoint if you want a longer scenic drive. Those who use Stoneridge as a base for winter skiing will probably pass through Sandpoint anyways and already know that area. Newport, WA is a dozen miles up the road, and you can hit the full size Safeway. Mitchell's Harvest Foods in Priest River another full size grocery store with all you need. This isn't greater Spokane, Couer d'Alene - Hayden. Choices are limited but you can get half way decent - even very good eats. Don't expect every eat out meal to knock your socks off and you'll be happier. Check right here on Yelp, etc., before you arrive. That's ignoring the kitchen in your room, which a good cook can make some magic in. Pots, frying & baking pans, lids, broiler - broiler pan, casserole dish, cutting board - kitchen knife - cutlery, plates-bowls-cups, utensils & glasses, can opener, coffee pot, kitchen towels, full size fridge, dishwasher. BUT - You gotta clean up like you own it and love it, or a $$ charge. Cleaning-washing supplies provided. Tip; when exiting the property, most everyone goes Right. If you turn Left (except Winter) up you go over the hills to the West, then SW eventually out to Hwy 2 North of Spokane, WA. Real nice back country cruise. If you're on two wheels watch out for sand for a while after spring melt. read more

Spent a week at this resort and overall a pretty disappointing experience. Beautiful scenery and pictures online had us excited to spend the week there and use all of the amenities. We were advise that there was some minor construction being done and told it was mostly on the roof of some of the buildings and the overhang near the entry-ways. Upon arrival - everything looked pretty good. They let us check in a couple hours early and our room was clean and nice so off to a nice start. Needed to have internet access which we were told they had wifi but saw in our welcome package that we would need to call the front desk to get a wifi code. Thought it was a little odd they didn't just give us a code like most places do... but no big deal... but we had to call 7 or 8 times over the course of 2 days before we finally decided that we were going to have to go to the front desk in person b/c they literally would not answer the phone no matter what time of day we called. We got the access code and logged in... we quickly found out that we could only have 1 device hooked up to the wifi at a time and we were extremely limited by how much we could use it. With a laptop and 2 smart phones.... it was a bit of a hassle having to make sure all other devices were properly removed from the wifi network and then wait another 15-20 minutes for their network to recognize that the device had been disconnected. Kinda felt like we traveled back in time when we had limited minutes on a dial up modem..... Virtually everything ended up being under construction.... from the children's playground being partially blocked off by yellow tape... to the mini golf course not being maintained hardly at all... covered in weeds and no water in the areas that were supposed to be ponds. Parking lot was being torn up and we received a phone voicemail stating that vehicles needed to be moved by certain times on certain days...... not very relaxing at all. Parking was a mess if you didn't make it back by about 8 pm.... the whole lot was full and you would have to park in a distant side parking lot. We also saw a notice at the clubhouse that the pool would be shut down Wednesday night for repairs and would re-open later in the day on Friday. My daughter absolutely loves to swim and this is usually one of the highlights of her vacation. We weren't advised of this in advance which was disappointing... but we scheduled our activities accordingly and promised her that we could swim 1 last time on Wednesday. So we changed into our swimsuits and went to the rec center. We were greeted by a heavy set, gray haired lady with glasses with a friendly "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I said that we were heading to the pool and she said that it is closed in a very rude manner. I mentioned that I had seen signs the day before that said it would close Wednesday night and this was Wednesday around noon. She abruptly said "No, it is closed now" Kinda treating me like I was stupid.... I questioned if I had read the sign correctly until I saw a sign sitting right in front of her on the desk that read that it would close Wednesday night.. but it was now crossed off and said Wednesday morning. so they changed that last minute and I was treated very rudely. Not to mention that we had to change 2 young kids into swim suits and have to disappoint our children that they would not get to swim again on this trip. Other staff was nice, they had several craft activities which we didn't participate in, but always nice to have options. The scenery was beautiful and probably should have been a very nice and relaxing vacation week... but felt like the place was misrepresented and the construction was definitely downplayed. Also felt the staff was below average between the rude lady at the rec center and the front desk not answering or returning phone calls about the wifi password. This place seems like a bit of a gamble overall and not sure we would give it another shot based on our experience this time around. read more

We stayed a week in the motor home village. It is a beautiful property with gorgeous views and a nice golf course. The motor home lots are available for sale or rent, some with complete outdoor kitchens. Most everyone has an electric golf cart which they decorated for the 4th of July parade. Great place to get away in the summer. The Grill has excellent food and friendly staff. read more
