Stunning views at every hole
Shanel S.

Found this nine hole course prior to coming out to Tahoe as we were looking for a great way to celebrate our one year marriage anniversary. This was the perfect course. I'm still very much learning the sport and this worked out great for me. They had a small area to practice putting to get some jitters out too. We rented a cart but were paired with a third that walked. He kept up pretty quickly so I'd say it's also a fairly easy course to walk. It was a misty day but the sun came out halfway through and it was absolutely stunning. We originally had an earlier tee time when the rain was coming down harder but the pro said to check back later because a round is not to be dismissed in the mist (he didn't say that verbatim but he was correct)! I had some really amazing holes and memorable shots. Lost a total of three balls after two rounds on two different days. We loved it so much, we came again with my brother in law. He enjoyed it as much as we did the first time. It was much warmer on the second day but still absolutely perfect and stunning. Breathtaking views at every hole. We also had lunch here and the food was delicious! I forgot my bag accidentally and came back the next day for it. They were very kind and attentive.

Old Brockway Golf Course is a bit unassuming from the street but when you enter the course, you'll be amazed at how beautiful each hole. The staff are always a delight. Laine is always happy and cheerful to check you in for your T-time, and the staff at the pro-shop are friendly and helpful. I recently started getting lessons from their pro, Colin who is amazing. In 2 short lessons, I was able to contact the ball and golf a 4 in a par 3. He is patient, instructs in a way that is easy to understand and is very motivating. Old Brockway Golf Course is a gem in the NLT area.

For the second time in a row, we drove Tahoe to golf before heading over to the Century golf classic tournament on south shore. The course is beautiful and the greens are close to perfect. The staff in the clubhouse are very polite and friendly. Our carts are nice and clean and they provide ice chest with ice.

Hole 8 is a dirt pit

Horrible Course. Greens and fairways are in terrible condition. 80$ for 9 holes and a cart is miserable considered i have played many 30$ public courses with better conditions. One green was just cut as a pit in the fairway. Greens has patchy grass with bumpy holes and the tee boxes were not leveled. Employees were rude and seemed entitled. They treat the course like its Augusta nationals when in reality it is an overpriced piece of crap.

Old Brockway is perfect! I talked to Lane at Old Brockway, and actually learned that they had hickory clubs that we could rent, so my friend and I ended up renting two set of hickories, and had the time of our life playing 9 holes in a throw back fashion! We played in about ~1 hour and 30 minutes, lost 0 balls between the two of us, and had the time of our lives! Lane was awesome to talk to about the course, the clubs, and I cannot recommend going to check out Old Brockway enough. If you want to spend $300+ dollars for prime Lake Tahoe summer golf tee times at another course, I won't stop you, but if you want to have an awesome low key unique experience, go check out Old Brockway, try your hand with some Hickory Clubs, and have yourself a day!

My friend played this course today, and I quote, " it's like walking on Frozen turds"....end quote. LOL as a Caddy, The course was a little rough with numerous hole. Very disappointing. It's only a 9 hole course for 60 bucks with cart.

Love everything about this course! Friendly people, great food, and terrific course conditions with a nice practice facility. The fact it's family owned and operated is just the cherry on top! Because of that, the extra care and attention to the course and all it's customers is obvious. Had a blast ! 10 out of 10!

Look at all those majestic trees surrounding the hole.

Fun 9-hole course! It's hardly what I would call a muni..... it's much nicer. Of course, that could be because it is set in the mountains and all the trees and wildflowers make it looks so enchanting. After holes 1 and 2 (which are pretty plain Jane)... the rest of the course is interesting with some elevation changes and character (imagine... dog legs, uphill, downhill, water.) I would not consider this an EASY course, but it's also not HARD. Holes 1 and 2 are easy... wide, open, flat... so definitely these are good starter holes to get you going and boost your confidence. And then holes 3-9 will challenge your ability to judge distance, club selection and execution, so good for seasoned golfers who need to practice their game without going a full 18 on a big course. We played this course twice during our stay and we all enjoyed it both times. The price was right... I think it was $35 pp for twilight. You could ride, walk or do a pull cart. It was hot so mom and I were in a cart. And I'm glad we did because there are some uphill/downhill areas that I wouldn't want her dragging her bag and I don't think I could drag both bags. Course is in really good condition.... good tee boxes and greens were not too beat up. I did fix a couple divots here and there that were not mine.... that's just basic golf etiquette. When we are back in the area, we will play again.

Stop searching and just hire Taylor and her team with Revel and Rye to plan your wedding already!!!…read more Hiring a wedding planner in Lake Tahoe is a high-stakes decision: you need someone experienced, professional, and knows the ins-and-outs of the wedding industry in Lake Tahoe. Taylor, Christy, and the Revel and Rye team executed our vision flawlessly for our June 2025 wedding, and we couldn't be happier with our decision! From the Introduction Call, Design Board meeting, and regular check-ins with Taylor, we were impressed with how responsive she was to our questions, and she even met with us in person to tour venues together. We didn't have to worry about a single thing! We decided to have our ceremony and reception at a State Park, which presented a huge logistical challenge with an extremely limited time of 2 hours to set-up a venue for 80+ guests from scratch! Taylor successfully coordinated with all of our vendors to create a beautiful ceremony and reception space, that left our guests in awe! The best part about hiring Taylor, is that she takes great pride in her work and is passionate about what she does! She's not just a wedding planner - she is a Creative Director, and we were so amazed at the ideas her team came up with, from wedding favors to signage, based on our wedding vision! Afterwards, we received multiple comments about how smoothly everything went and how every detail was thoughtfully executed. It allowed me and my husband to truly be present on our wedding day. Where to start!?…read more Well, first of all, this review is far overdue. I had the most beautiful wedding on December 28, 2019. I hired Stephanie and A Daydream Wedding about three months prior to my wedding date. Initially, I thought I would be able to organize the perfect wedding all on my own. I quickly learned that I am not cut out for that and I would need some assistance. I was worried that it was too close to the wedding to hire a planner, at that point. But, I went ahead and emailed ADW and Stephanie PROMPTLY replied to my inquiry. I was communicating with a couple of planners simultaneously so figure out who I felt would be the best match and Stephanie stood out among the rest EXPONENTIALLY! She was so comfortable and easy to talk to right off the bat. She was quick with her responses, and I really felt that it was important to Stephanie to get to know ME and what my personal preferences were. Throughout the entire process, I felt like the services were tailored to me, and I wasn't being served based on some generic template. Everything about Stephanie's services felt so personalized. Let me also mention that I am in remission from leukemia, and I had recently had a bone marrow transplant. So my energy is quite low and my memory is nowhere near "good." Stephanie was so patient with me throughout our time together. She was kind in reminding me of dates and keeping me on track with scheduling, which is SO helpful for someone like me. It was important for me to work with someone understanding and patient, and I found that in Stephanie. Stephanie constantly reassured me that we would be able to work with the time given and she worked extremely hard to find me the best vendors that fit my specific needs and most importantly - BUDGET! Throughout the course of our work together, Stephanie would keep her eye out for decor, desserts, vendors, bridesmaids dresses etc. that would be of interest to me and would text / email suggestions regularly. Even if you have no idea where to start (with anything), Stephanie has a full arsenal of beauticians, DJ's (SHOUT OUT TO DJ BERNIE!), photographers, bakeries, decor rentals... the list goes on! She is well equipped and a true professional in her craft. The day of the wedding, Stephanie was sure to make sure I was thoroughly taken care of. She checked on me throughout the day to ensure all my needs were tended to, she picked up on queues (for instance, she noticed the guests were hounding the head table and had the DJ make a little announcement so my new husband and I could sit to enjoy dinner), and she kept everyone and everything on schedule to the minute! I feel like I can't rave about Stephanie enough. But, hopefully these pictures will help give a clear picture of her hard work and dedication to wedding planning. If you have a dream to create the perfect wedding, whether it be modern, romantic, boho, etc., Stephanie is going to be your secret weapon. I cannot recommend her enough!

I would strongly recommend her to any brides that need that special someone to make it all come together. Having someone with experience that is easy to work with, and fabulous at what she does is priceless! Thanks again Stephanie, Until next time!

Given COVID and many other restrictions we decided to use a service that included everything in one. When you aren't one of those types of people who want absolute control over the details and don't want a big deal over ceremonies, I highly recommend this. LOTSW has a few different tiers of what they have to offer with their appropriate price points. Due to COVIID and our wedding being elopement style, Rev. Dorie was kind enough to let me customize my package. You will be keeping the price point of course, but she was nice enough to let me swap things like providing my own flowers and trading those fees for more photos instead. I have to say, she captured some of the most incredible moments and I could not have asked for anything better. We got married on 8.26.2021 and it was in the midst of everything bad in S. Lake Tahoe. We originally lost our spot we booked a year in advanced, (Emerald Bay) but Dorie did everything she could to make sure that she was able to find a spot that was still open and available so we did not lose out on the opportunity to get married since it was coming down to the wire. (2 days after we left everyone was evacuated) To chime in with people are saying in regards to Dorie and her attitude. Dorie is a professional and she is a bit older. She has been doing this a long time and she knows what she is doing and how she wants it done. Her issue is with people not listening to her, people not following the instructions they were told, people being in her personal space, and things like that. People tend to not realize that when she is taking pictures, they close in on her because they want to get the shot too and it leaves her no room to move and she has to tell people to please back up over and over. She has to remind people "this is what we are doing or this is where we are going" and after 2 or 3 times yes, the annoyance is on her face and apparent and I honestly don't blame her because it does take a long time. We arent natural models so yes, we dont always get the poses she is asking us to do or what she means and she does get frustrated, I could see she was a bit annoyed with me and my husband because we are not naturals LOL. Overall it was a wonderful experience and she did every and anything she could to make it a great day despite the natural disaster around us. I would highly recommend LOTSW to anyone.
