I walked out with Michelle Obama's book in mint condition for $5. Unreal. Inside is full of wall to wall coverage of books and vinyls. Heaven. It's very tidy and everything is organized by genre for both the books and the vinyls. The friendliest man works here - I believe he's the store owner. Very welcoming, softspoken, and extremely knowledgeable. Anytime I have a question, he knows where to point me. Not to mention he's always turning the tunes for a cozy and welcoming feel as you browse. Couldn't recommend this place more. Go check em out!

The young people help run the store, learn job skills, and work toward personal and career goals--and it truly shows in the care and pride behind the space. The shop itself is small but mighty. I walked out with four excellent-condition used books (three of which had already been on my TBR list) and somehow also added two cookbooks because... no regrets. Everything was very affordable, and it felt good knowing my purchase was directly supporting youth in the local community. If you're near one of their locations (I believe there's another in the Boston area), I highly recommend stopping in or checking out their online storefront. (The prices were a little high to begin with so the sale made them more regular). The display comic books had cool identifiers like the first appearance of Hawkeye, for example. They were valued higher because of these specifics. Even those were 20% off today. My husband's only critique was that some of the long boxes were packed too tight such that he would've had to pull out multiple comic books just to be able to search through the box. He says he would've bought more if there were about 15 fewer issues per long box. Come check it out!
