A couple of the stores sell most mostly locals wares and clothing. It has an elevator in the event you can't walk up the stairs. There is a restaurant also located inside the facility. I believe it's a new restaurant from the last time I was in town. It looks really nice. I'm not sure if they're open for lunch, but I'm certain they're open for dinner. There's a wide variety of different types of shops, including art, knickknacks, etc., but higher quality knickknacks not souvenir type stuff. All staff I've met at the stores have been very personable. I stopped by every time I'm in town to see what new things they have.!

This busy shopping center was Prescott's original indoor mall. Over time, it was on the decline and…read more(almost) died as so many malls have done. Fortunately, someone with some smarts and vision renovated to the mall into a outdoor entrance shopping center and secured Walmart (first one in Prescott) as the anchor tenant, and revitalized the center. Now the center is full with about 20 stores (save for one vacant slot) and has continued to add more "pad" buildings with desirable business. The parking lot gets pretty crowded, and getting in and out is slow go. You have to be careful maneuvering around all the peds and cars on the west side. It's a bit less congested on the east end where WalMart is. Maybe the Prescott Gateway Mall management could take a few pointers.

I have lived all over the U.S. this is THE WORST Walmart I've been to. The employees are as rude as…read morecan be. This last visit today is just one example of how it's been since we moved here last July 2024. I asked a blue vest Walmart employee in the garden center a question. Her response was in a very, very rude tone, "I fill orders I don't work back here!" I checked out in the self checkout lane. Was going to ask the employee there a question, but she was texting on her phone. I purchased a flower from the garden area. So of course I didn't have a bag. When I was leaving the "Unwelcome" person yells, "I need your receipt, I need your receipt!!!" I wasn't even to her yet and she was throwing a fit. I showed her my receipt and told her, "Just so you know you and your fellow employees are very rude!" We try not to shop at Walmart, when we do I usually go to the one that is further away with nicer employees. What a joke.
