Food took a bit longer than expected (think ~30 minutes), but I really enjoyed my salad. The chicken was on a dryer side though.

We parked in front of the restaurant, and were seated immediately. The inside is small, but they also have a nice little patio area if the weather is right. We chose to sit inside this time. The bar is nice as well. They were busy but the food and drinks come out quickly, so that helps. I started with the signature drink according to the server. It was called the lucky bucket, and it's a spicy strawberry margarita. It definitely has a kick to it, with good flavor. I ordered the special, which was a chicken Parmesan sandwich, made with a homemade marinara sauce, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, and banana peppers. It was delicious!!! My husband had the fried chicken club sandwich. They originally brought out the wrong sandwich for him, so the picture is of a different sandwich, but once corrected, he said it was good. He ate the other half of my sandwich and liked it better! We also shared the classic fries and a slice of the vanilla cheesecake with homemade berry compote for dessert. Great service. Delicious food. We will be back to try the burgers! They looked and smelled amazing too...

We had Lori on Monday who brought our drinks and refills. On Friday we had Darcy doing the honors. Both were very friendly and efficient! Very family friendly and the deserts were so good that we had to make a trip to their bakery to pick up a couple delicious pies.

Having grown up in PA, I'm very familiar with "Pennsylvania Dutch" or Amish and Mennonite cooking. I would characterize this style of cooking as hearty, simple, and high-calorie comfort food. The buffet included three main sections. The first included two soups (chicken noodle and vegetable), salad bar items, prepared salads (such as coleslaws and broccoli salad), and some gelatin molds. The second station was hot items (meats, gravies, vegetables). Finally, there was a dessert station with an assortment of cobblers, cookies, cupcakes, soft serve ice cream, and more. I noticed other patrons with homemade white bread but I somehow missed it on the buffet. Overall, there was a good selection of items available. I most enjoyed the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, broccoli salad, and berry and peach cobblers. The biggest misses were the chicken noodle soup (which didn't seem to contain any chicken pieces, was only lukewarm, and very over-salted) and the chocolate ice cream, which was runny. My husband and I found the food to be generally bland. (Granted, Amish food isn't known to have a spicy profile). In addition, they didn't offer some foods and desserts that I generally associate with Amish cooking -- pickled eggs, Harvard beets, macaroni and cheese, cinnamon apples. shoo fly pie, apple dumplings, fry pies, Whoopie pies, etc. (Admittedly, the traditional Amish foods in the Midwest may differ from those in Pennsylvania). The restaurant had a lot of seating and was clean, and had a cute gift shop that you passed through on the way in and out. Our server was sufficiently attentive. Parking was free and plentiful. The all-you-can-eat lunch buffet was $16.99 per person; drinks not included.

Went there yesterday and there were three tables that already had food and one guy with an EMS…read moreuniform that was by himself and nearly finished. My first time there. I walked in and wasn't greated at all. Two with a very young boy came in behind me. They took a seat at the table I was standing next to. I said it was my first time there. The guy said pick a chair and sit. I did. The only waitress there got around to getting menus. Took them to the couple that came in after me. She took their drink orders. Fifteen minutes later she brought me a menu. Not at the same time as the other two. One more menu at six feet away would have been a little too much I guess. I asked for water. Water came. She took the other tables food order Fifteen minutes later, she took mine. I'm glad she took the other tables order because I'm sure the young boy was really hungry because it was almost 11:00 am. 10:30 when both of us arrived. I was really hungry by now so I chose something quick. 2 "large" biscuits with " sausage" gravy and two eggs over easy. Both items were separate on the menu. By 11:20 I received my food. The gravy looked like last minute powdered gravy that had dehydrated sausage bits that was left too long after it was made to thicken a lot. The sausage was undetectable and the eggs were dry and way overcooked. I guess the cook realized that the eggs were over because the waitress said the cook was sending out another egg for me. So now I had 3 overcooked eggs ! I thought I'd doctor up what I had with some franks hot sauce that was on the table. I have franks hot sauce at home and his didn't look or taste like franks to me. The top was almost completely off of the bottle. I'm sure someone wanted to pour it on their food instead of shaking it on. I paid my $6.99 bill with $10.00 . The only reason I bumped up the stars to two was the extra egg effort. Glad to have tried it because I don't need to try it again.
