Part 2: The day…read moreafter posting the previous review, I received another call from that Anchorage Alaska number (Tim). He told me that he saw my post and had no idea that Luke had done this. He and Luke had quite the showdown in the office. He wanted to make good on HIS estimate and would be out in two days. Upon arriving at my house he informed me that Luke had been fired and that they were doing an in-house investigation on him to see if he had been doing this for awhile. The company also discovered that Luke is the brother of the owner of a local competing chimney sweep business and that Luke might've been trying to way over-bid jobs so that people like me would go with his brothers company. Tim completed my job at a cost that was way below his original estimate. I appreciate people like Tim who want to take the time to make things right when there's an obvious wrong. Tim said that Ron (owner) was in agreement of his "fix the problem" attitude and this reflects greatly on the integrity of this company! I will NOW continue to use the services of this company and I hope that Tim gets a big fat raise for this! Tim definitely has a servant's heart and got $20 for his pocket from me for his trouble. Bob and Corey came out and Corey was very patient with me while I learned how to clean the stove. However, when we got up this morning, the stove would not work at all. After waiting until 10:00 AM to call them, I was told there is no one to come out until Monday. We have never had such poor customer service in an area before moving up here. The people are nice but the service is what customers rely on when doing business. After cooler heads prevailed the problem was solved and they provided excellent service. I called his business again after the 2 weeks leaving messages to get back to me on my order and after a week or so he finally called back with excuse of wet weather the cedar blanks needed to dry bit more before running stating maybe another 2 weeks. I called back after another 2 weeks leaving another message to see if my order was ready for pickup. Again I received no call back and after leaving more messages he finally called back reassuring me he would fill my order. This went on and on all summer and into late fall with Buzz finally saying he would call Columbia Cedar to see if they had a unit to sell (2nd time he told me that, he must have sold the cedar blanks he had said he was going to run for me). He said he would call me when I could come ad get my order. I had also originally ordered some pine boards in March 2020 which he said he had which were to be picked up with cedar board order. When I last talked to him late last fall he stated he didn't have them any more. I am still waiting for Buzz Webley to call me back on my order and am wondering if I would get March 2020 prices or current prices which are 2 to 3 times more.
