As they are not back to…read morethe Open Barn days, they were allowing reservations for small groups again to come learn about the dairy farm; the goats and the inn. We got to bottle feed the babies and mingle with them. We also got to tour the Inn and saw a glimpse of the original log cabin. It was a very educational experience and they had goat cheese; gelato and fudge for sale too! The staff was so welcoming and answered a lot of questions. I want to go stay the night at the cozy inn now. Next year, when the new baby goats are born as then I can spend as much time with them as I want :-) I am looking forward to the monthly dinners returning as well.

They have a LOT of beautiful goats, all ages, all colors and personalities, but they also have chickens, llamas and horses. The goats are very friendly and love to have someone pet them. They are born and raised right there on the farm, so they love people. Although the lunch was very good, I loved spending time with the sweet goats. Lunch was lemonchello chicken, a nice salad, rice pilaf and roasted veggies. We had a lemon tart for dessert. The table was set so nicely and we really enjoyed our meal. We had a great tour of the facility and our guide answered all of our questions with her super knowledge and huge amount of patience! She was enthusiastic, and had great tips on how to implement our ideas. She has totally customizable service, meaning you can choose the exact aspects you're looking for, within your budget. We hired Amanda for the day-of coordination - my fiance and I wanted to do the planning ourselves, but we needed help to make sure everything went smoothly on the actual day. We also added on catering guidance. Amanda worked in catering previously, and has a good handle of what to look for in catering contracts. She set up tastings with local caterers, and was able to accommodate our short trip in town. We met with Amanda at the venue a couple times, and she was always very responsive via email and phone. I know she handles a lot of events, but I never felt rushed. On the wedding day, everything went smoothly! I heard of tiny incidents after the fact that she took care of immediately. It was great to know that our wedding was in extremely capable hands, and my family and I could just enjoy the day. From the small things (making sure I had my shoes and phone in the getaway car) to the big things (making sure everything was on schedule!), she handled it all with ease and a smile. She has a great reputation in Durham, and I can attest that she lives up to the hype! I cannot recommend her enough!

Staff was rude and unorganized. Caterer was late arriving only to still serve cold appetizers (meatballs, chicken pot pie bites, & chicken kabobs) which should have been warm to say the least. It was so bad that even the beverages were not to proper standard.They have since blocked me from all social media so that I could not Tag them in any of my reviews of there service, which is unprofessional in itself but what should I have expected at this point. And to make matters worse my guest complained of diarrhea and vomiting after the event. When my coordinator reached out to them to advise of our concern they failed to respond to her an insisted on speaking to us and by this time me and my husband were both so furious that we felt it best handled by the designated individual which anyone that does weddings know that they go through the coordinator not the Bride. This company didn't even have the decency to apologize for there staffs behavior which was addressed at the event. Every place I've serviced I was told the customer was always right but I guess they attended a different etiquette training. I would not suggest this vendor to anyone needing to cater a large event with class because they definitely lack in that department.

Their service and presentation is truly superb and they leave nothing undone. They set-up, serve, and clean-up with all the extras thrown in. And all this and I haven't even mentioned the food! It is delicious and the hot food is always the perfect temperature (which is sometimes hard to find in catering services) and we've always had more than enough. Thank you Bam Boogie's! Will definitely hire them again and recommend to all my friends.
