Service outside of the lady at the jewelry counter was terrible. The store was an absolute mess needing massive recovery and the carpets looked like they haven't been cleaned in a long time. Not even vacuuming them. Belk is such a great company and the need to invest more payroll and attention to cleanliness and service at this store. I really appreciate the customer service from the lady in jewelry she was so nice and very helpful. The store environment was dreadfully hot, understaffed and poorly managed.

Ensure to read their helpful hints to get the most money for your items like having them freshly washed, sorted, no torn items, and toys are wiped down. They also give you a discount if you buy something in store after selling your items. Good selection for boys and girls clothes, toys, and books! Come check them out! Parking can be a nightmare as it's in a strip mall so you may have to wall a little bit.

I got 4 new pairs of earrings for around $100. They has a great selection of drink stuff (napkins, cups that keep drinks cold etc) and clothes. Towne Mall has been a staple in Etown for many years. It looks like it is getting some revamping…read more The stores are set up kinda weird and only a limited number of them were open. I'm not a fan of this set up but, hopefully once the revamping is done, it will be a much better mall. I did go into a few of the stores, American Eagle and Bath and Body Works were about the same size and space but, Victorias Secret was very small compared to the other ones I've been to. I don't go to Etown much but, I do hope this place looks great and will thrive again once the revamping is complete.

When I initially walked into the store, I saw two sales associates folding clothes. Neither associate said hello or welcomed me to "The Gap" which really made me want to turn around and leave. Instead of leaving, I decided to continue on to the back where near the children section. Having to pass by an associate to get there, I was sure someone would speak--still no one said a word. Could I have spoken? Sure, but this is about good customer service (and providing fellow yelpers/people in the area about a business) and there doesn't seem to be much of that in many places I've gone to so far in KY. I shopped for kids clothing and finally came to a point where I had to ask for assistance since none was offered. I said, "Excuse, could you find out if you have this cardigan in 2T cardigan" to one of the sales associates....To make a long story short--the store associate never came back to let me know whether or not they had what I was looking for in a different size and I knew at that point I would never return to the Gap ever again. The cashier at the register was efficient and nice, but the other employees weren't as helpful. I actually saw the sales associate walk back onto the floor but she never came to inform me of the product I requested so I'll just assume her walking back on the floor means, "NO we don't have the size you requested!" I spent over $170 that day for my kids and I guess its true what people say, "You should never say never!" My son, unfortunately cannot fit some of the items I purchased, so I have to take them back for an exchange. I certainly hope that I have something different to report on my 2nd and final trip. You certainly do not have to take my word for it....go check them out yourself. Hopefully you'll have a better experience than I did. I also did a survey w/ the company about this experience so you may see improvements--at least that's my wish for you.

The layout of the store was clean and organized however I didn't see much selection to my liking. They have everything for the family and have a shoe, toy, etc section. They even have a Sephora. This location is just ok, not somewhere I'd go on a regular basis.

They try to organize the clearance racks fairly well. They only have the front check out desk open which isn't an issue but sometimes only have on associate ringing up purchases and so on, can take a while. Overall we got what we needed in the sizes we wanted and check out was a breezy after a few minutes wait.
