They are dog friendly and service dog friendly, which is appreciated. We were given a magnet to put on our door stating that dogs were in the room for the hotel staff and other customers. The room smelled very clean and didn't give me any issues with my allergies. I always have to check and room out before I bring my things in. My nose is so sensitive. Lol. The only downsides that we found we the room keys. They didn't always take and open the door for us; but that doesn't mean the key didn't eventually work. Also, we had a small toilet paper roll and no extra toilet paper roll under the sink. We had Kleenex to use; but it honestly felt like sandpaper. The Cupboard had a variety of food items but seemingly pricy, as in 1 individual pop tart package was $2.00. The small kitchen inside the rooms were nice though. Full size fridge/freezer with 4 sets of silverware, plates, bowls and cups. It was nice to feel reassured that this establishment cares about sanitizing, when all of the dishes were newly cleansed in the dishwasher. All in all, it was a pleasant stay. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely come back.

There are a few Holiday Inn locations in this Kentucky where I have found this happens. When you arrive and check in, this location will take a credit card for incidentals. Again, this happens at a few of the Holiday Inns I have stayed at in Kentucky. What I have liked so far about this location is that they have a breakfast menu in the elevator and they state that they give you two complimentary waters in the fridge. Since I am kind of wary about having a credit card on file, I am probably not going to take them. I feel like items in fridges are being weight monitored. The king standard room is nice. Tons of space towards the center of the room. 3/24/2026 Shower: The showerhead in the bathroom is amazing with a mist type setting. I am going to miss that. Breakfast: Pretty much top!!! They basically max out everything possible that one would want a hotel to throw at them. I am writing about, two types of omelets (white and folded egg, egg beater eggs), bacon AND sausage (not just one or the other, and not just the sausage patty, the actual good tasting sausage links), french toast, and delicious seasoned potatoes. Their wide array of teas is amazing, both caffeinated and decaffeinated options in the breakfast area. Do not be down if you only find two options of black tea in the rooms because of this. I grabbed like two of each in the breakfast area for whenever I want to drink them because I am almost always traveling. In the fridge, they not only have yogurts, but yogurt parfaits (although, they have no expiration stickers on them. I would like to see how they monitor these parfaits from going bad). I had taken one and it was so refreshing. I think this Holiday Inn location is killing it in terms of what an individual would want. I have not seen too many Holiday Inns with this elaborate of a breakfast setup. This experience would be best compared to a Hilton and more than likely, one would have to be some kind of high ranking rewards member to even try to access the breakfast there.

The hotel is dated, but when I was there (8/23/24) it was immaculate. Dated in this case also means quality materials were used in construction, which means noise doesn't pass through the walls. The staff was friendly and you could tell they took pride in their jobs. There was even an included light breakfast with some hot food. This is my new go-to place while passing through Kentucky.

Jessica said they had a room, exactly like we reserved. They did not. The poor lady Jennifer at Home 2 Suites was trying her best. She only had 3 rooms left. We did make do with what she had. In the end, it was ok. Then got a notice from Hampton I had to pay a late cancellation fee on the room they gave away. I'll deal with that when we get home. I'd rate the experience a -1 if I could. I booked it directly through the hotel, not third party. I don't know who decides whom can stay and whom gets the boot.

I signed in and waited to be called. When I was called I quickly realized I signed in on the wrong sheet. I went over to the front desk, gave my name, insurance information and copy of prescription. I was called about 15 minutes later. I had already picked out four frames. Amber Hall asked me... what do you like or dislike about these frame? Then she said, Hey, let's go looking around and try some frames on. During that time she asked, what's your favorite color? I said, Green! We found several green frames in different styles. She spent time to help me feel comfortable! She went over frame-by-frame, she discussed all options with me, she was friendly and kind, allowing me to trust her, but ultimately she allowed me to make my own decision! Thanks Amber, you're the best!
