It never fails anytime I am in the area I cannot help but stop by Old Navy at this point. It's a part of my weekend ritual. I am proud to report that out of all of the things that they have the clearance out of the items I bought, none of them were for me. So the New Year closet decluttering is still in effect. I have been going to this location and, most of the time found what I like, but due to the limited inventory, certain items, like sleeping pajama sets, are only available online. I tried online shopping, but it didn't work because every material I made was a different size. I returned my online order, and I am not big on return or exchange, but Charity made my experience very pleasant. She was a very knowledgeable and kind person. I like the store. I like the products. I hate the customer NON-service. Opened account 3 months ago. still don't have my credit card. When I called customer service they have: 1. Wrong phone number; 2. Wrong address; 3. Wrong email.... they think. This was a Mastercard through Barclays. I was on the phone for 19 minutes - at least 12 of which I was on hold. I love Old Navy! However I am extremely disappointed in their return policy for online purchases. My boyfriend had purchased a jumpsuit for me a few weeks ago and it just looked better online (and on the model). So I went to this Old Navy location to exchange for something else. The staff at this location had informed me that unless I'm exchanging for the same exact item, they cannot process the exchange for another item. The original amount goes back to the original card used to make that purchase online and I would pay for the new item I wanted. I've worked at a retail clothing store before and this just sounds absurd. Obviously this was a gift. Their return policies page online states that "exchanges are free" with no shipping fee if returned back via their return process, however it also states you can return an online purchase back to a store with no specific mention of an exchange policy. The item was in new condition with tag and everything. I had my order invoice. Yet I was turned away. This experience was nothing but inconvenience and disappointment. I am not a satisfied customer, although this was a gift, I shop at Old Navy quite often. Needless to say, I decided to just return the item and call it a loss. The best time to go shopping is in the middle of the day in the middle of the week - that's the only way to avoid traffic, people and clothes all over the place. I don't shop at Old Navy but once or twice a year - usually around summer/spring when I need to pick up flowy summer dresses, cheap flip flops for the river tanks and other cheap clothing. Their sizes run way to big for me, and most of their stuff is made for peeps with giant torsos, something I don't have, so this store ain't for everybody. But it's a big location, parking is there - though limited - and it's a quick in and out purchase. read more

We visited this Old Navy Clothing Store to pick up an online order moments after the store opened. We were only in the store a couple of minutes. When we walked in, the staff was cleaning the doors. Anemployee opened the door for us and greeted us in a friendly and professional manner. We walked to the register and retrieved our order and left. There were no other customers in the store. I went to Target the other day to return some Espresso pods that were the wrong size for my new espresso machine. When I got there the cashier asked right away in a nice tone "Did you buy these or were they a gift? If you bought them do you have the card you used to pay for them with you. If so we can give you a card, cash, or gift card refund." Easy enough, right? Done and out. I used to work retail. This is how you start off a return interaction with a customer. This didn't happen at Old Navy when I went to return a coat I got as a gift. When I stepped up to the register, the cashier asked no questions just took my jacket and receipt and told me to swipe my card right away. She made me do it a second time. I was waiting for more details and she gave me none. She finally figured out I was swiping my own card and not the one that was used to buy the coat (since the coat was a gift from my mom). With frustration and not giving me any other details she grabs a gift card. I ask "is a gift card my only option or if I have my mom come can she do the return for money back to her card? How much time do I have left on the return?". She replied flatly "you don't". That's all I got. Her tone was so rude. I didn't even care really if I got a refund. I didn't even care if I had no days left to make a refund. Fine. I don't even need them to be cheery or nice. I just want to be not treated rudely in a store by someone who is being paid to help customers with questions when I've done nothing rude or wrong. I know retail can suck but let's work on some professionalism. read more

What a mess - I mean it was the week of Christmas and the entire store was "up to 75% off". The PJ shorts were only $3 and the PJ pants were half off making them about $8, which is what I came in looking for. You could definitely see which areas of the store had the deals because they looked like a post-tornado disaster. Items were scattered all over the floor, different items that didn't belong together were piled onto each other messily and non-sensibly. I made a couple laps around the store and realized most of the deals were 30-50% off and untouched. I had looped around the parking lot multiple times for a spot and for nothing because I walked out empty-handed. read more

If I could give this store a lower star I would. Let's start off by saying this is the worst customer service that I have experienced in my life! I went into the store after church to grab a shirt and lotion for brunch only to find that it would take me almost twenty minutes to exit the store! The staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. The two associates that were checking people out seemed to be untrained and not very organized and the "manager" Anthony not only watched them struggle checking the long line of customers waiting he distracted them with small talk that had NOTHING to do with work. It's old navy. You can't have too high of expectations even if it is across from the Galleria. This place always seems to be in chaos....clothes seem just to be everywhere and not in any sort of order.....especially that clearance section....oh dear, you could get lost in the piles of clothes all stuffed onto one tiny hanger rod. It's almost too scary to touch in fears of it bursting/breaking down. Anytime I shop for old navy, I just go online....it's so much easier and provides more variety that cannot be found in stores. Stopped in this week on a Wednesday with my mom and sister. The store is clean and well stocked, and we were helped happily by the associates on the floor. Sadly a good shopping experience was ruined with the unnecessary attitude by one of the female cashiers, Julva. First I was up to check out, and when I attempted to hand her cash to pay she says (in a frustrated tone) Debit or Credit Only. Well, there was no sign or way for me to know this, and I told her I hadn't been aware of that. Then she proceeds to just stare at me as if I were the one that needed to do something. She had never told me that this was a Debit only line, and there were no signs anywhere. Finally, she gives a huge sigh and asks the cashier at the next register to suspend the transaction and finish it at her register. Ok, no biggie other than the attitude. I should also mention there were no customers behind us. Next up my mom tries to check out and the same girl in a smartass way says "Debit or Credit Only" to my mom. Yeah, she was just standing right next to me, clearly she knows.......then one of the shirts that was on sale rang up regular price. When my mom asked for a correction the girl literally rolled her eyes at my mom. She then says to the next cashier "This lady says this is on sale but its not" (basically accusing my mother of a lie) The second cashier says "Oh, yeah, there's nothing we can do. Its the price that it rings up" Well, the shirt and all of its same kind were hanging on the sale rack, and even more so, it was the exact shirt and design pictured on the model in the sales ad at the front of the store. But they still refused to honor the correct sale price. So overall, this girl never said, hello, hi, how are you, sorry for the inconvenience, thanks for coming, nothing. Just goes back to talking to her coworker even before handing over the bags. It really felt like we were an inconvenience to her day and not a customer in her store. The sighing and eye rolling from an employee who already had attitude really ruined our shopping experience. We will not return to this location. read more

Depending on the time of year you visit, whether it be during the holidays or back-to-school, they run a good operation at this location. Staff is really helpful and from season to season with all the style changes, everything is easy to find. Don't be surprised if the clearance section is a mess, that usually means there's a lot of good findings. I like that they don't let the baby and toddler section get out of hand. My daughter grows faster than ragweed and when we buy something for her, we intend on keeping it so the size is everything. There's a big athletic section for both men and women, boys and girls. Their accessories are particularly good because of the assortment of options of sunglasses, jewelry, scarfs, hats and gloves. The parking may frustrate you but not only is there the lot in front of the store, there's a garage about a two-minute walk away. read more

I usually avoid this location because of all the traffic/congestion in the Galleria. It also seems like everytime I stop by, it's a mess. Piles of shirts on tables that are supposed to have neatly folded items, little kids running wild and screaming through the store... I used to go here a lot when I worked in the area, but now avoid it because of the traffic. The best time to go is during the week and earlier in the day. The clearance section at this location seems to have the best steals. If you're not so tiny: width or height wise, you'll come across great finds here. I need Tall lengths & this location usually has a lot. I've always found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. I'd HATE to work here though bc I know it's forever busy. I just can't. This Old Navy is so mismanaged/ understaffed/ unorganized. Everything is in piles, no, HEAPS! Dust everywhere! The dressing rooms have PILES of dust in the corners! The restroom was dirty- pee all over the toilet seat and paper all over the floor. When I did find 2 things I wanted to purchase I had to wait over 15 minutes in line. There were only 2 girls working at the register even though there was a line with about 16 people. When I finally got to the register the girl was SO STINKING RUDE. Wouldn't make eye contact, barked orders at me about how to pay, never thanked me for being patient! The front checkout desk was a DISASTER. Could this place be any dirtier? I don't care to find out. I'm a lifelong Old Navy lover, especially during the summer. Although I love name brands as much as the next gal, I usually stock up on Summer essentials right around this time. They have really great cut off shorts, easy dresses, jean jackets, tanks, and pjs. Honestly Old Navy is my summer wardrobe for around the house, or lazy weekends. They also have really cute bathing suits. I like that they send you coupons, and they do Old Navy cash a couple of times a year. Recently I went in and bought 3 pair of shorts, 3 tops, 2 tank tops, 2 dresses and it was $100. Service is always quick and friendly. read more
