At the same time, another employee positioned an iPhone near where we were standing, which made us feel uncomfortable and singled out. We are both African American, and the behavior of the employees felt prejudiced and unnecessary. We entered the store fully intending to purchase fragrances, but left feeling disappointed and unwilling to spend our hard-earned money in an environment where we felt judged rather than welcomed.

The top level contains merchandise for men, children, and home, and the bottom level contains merchandise for women. I focused on the women's clothing. I saw an assortment of shirts, pants, shorts, dresses, coats, and other apparel that previous retailers could not sell. I recognized brands such as Calvin Klein and Nike, but I had not previously heard of some of the other brands. I thought that the prices were low to moderate. I decided to purchase a pair of UnionBay shorts for $23. The cashier quickly and correctly rang up my purchase.

There a certain few staff members that are just plain rude. I bought an item during one of their busy drops, got home and realized it was badly stained. I went to take it back and the woman responds "you didn't notice that when you bought it?" That is no way to talk to a customer ever! Not to mention this was during a busy drop where people just want to get out of the store, and their staff is responsible for inspecting the clothing when buying! This isn't the first time this has happened as I have been refused help in store multiple times. Would definitely recommend going to a different resale shop.

She refused to take the damaged item back and insisted that I file the claim. I then filed a claim as the recipient to which UPS told me to contact shipper to proceed with the claim. UPS also confirmed that shipper will receive any refund. Owner ignored all emails and communications from me and never responded including any request to cooperate with the UPS claim. It's possible she's intentionally uncooperative. Very dishonest and does not run her business in good faith.
