Garage is an OK place to shop…read more I got one of my favorite hoodies in the world there! It's one of the long ones (the kind that almost goes over your bum) and it's fitted so it's super cute. I got it on sale and I wear it all the time! Usually when I think of Garage, I think of summer clothes. They always have cute tank tops and shorts. I never go there in the winter or fall unless I happen to be in the store beside them for that reason. And, in all honesty, that hoodie is the only thing I've found there for a season other than summer. Their prices are decent and they usually have quite a few good sales in the store.

One girl in particular at this location named Hannah was an absolute angel! I pulled lots of items myself and she added some to my dressing room as well. I didn't feel that need to up-sale pressure from her, it felt like she was genuinely showing me pieces I may have missed myself or that she thought I would like. I was also grateful because she was super helpful with putting items on hold for my mom to go pick up later as my birthday gift! Sadly there was one piece I couldn't find in the store so she wrote it down and mentioned to my mom how they could special order it to the store so I could pick it up once it arrived in the store. Of course, my mom thought that was a great idea and went forward with it and stuck the receipt I needed in the gift bag along with everything else. Well later we got the email stating it had arrived and right away I drove all the way to the west end from Sherwood Park and I had forgotten the receipt I needed to pick up the shirt my mom had special ordered for me. I felt like a complete idiot but luckily the girls at the counter reassured me that if someone at home could send me a picture of it that would be totally acceptable as well. So in the end I got everything I wanted and had an excellent experience at this location. Once again I just want to say thank you to Hannah for all the help she gave me! I'm pleasantly surprised. Not everything is skulls and crossbones. ( Although I still love skulls) I found a lot of stuff I liked. I picked up a blue shirt and, get this, a Betsy Johnson shirt! I've loved her since the 80's and I never believed I would find something of hers that would come in my size. Yoink! Yes, it has skulls. And pink, But I love it anyway. The clothes are roomy and comfortable, and I fit a size smaller than I'm accustomed to. The prices are a little high for my liking, but with the Betsy Johnson I expected that. I joined their program because the inner goth is hoping for another Betsy Johnson, and I need to check out what else they have when I can think rationally. The coupons were a nice plus.

So every time I go to WEM I stop in and see what's new on the racks. Turns out my friends and my mom and sisters also love this place. If you are even the slightest bit curvy you will find clothes that fit and are tasteful and you'll feel beautiful. The staff are great too! I fell in love with a long sleeve top with flamingoes on it and bought it! I love that I can usually find my size (that isn't sold out) and just beautifully made clothes for a decent price. I am always impressed at how busy this place is too. I will continue to come back and see what this place has to offer as the seasons change.

I recently went in because they had a shoe table set out with 'Irregular Choice' shoes. For hose who don't know, Irregular Choice are a well known brand in the UK for really unsustainable footwear. Mostly heels and boots but like none you've ever seen before. The shark boots are wild! I love them. Even my mother in law has the cat heels and bag to match. Totally worth checking out. Apparently this is the only place selling them in Edmonton. The shoe and accessory section at the back of the store is fantastic. Everything is a little extra in here even the toll is covered in bling! It's a fun store. Check it out.

Not only were there enough staff members to serve our needs but they were able to find us some excellent items and direct us to items that fit him the way that he wanted them to fit. Certainly there are only very few Big & Tall Mens Wear stores in Edmonton (and only two George Richards Big & Tall Mens Wear locations) but this one was most excellent. The entrance is outside the mall (park on the eastern side of Safeway). This location has a lot of different garment options available including more formal wear and more casual options. I would definitely return here with my significant other should we need other similar options in the future.
