Generally I think old navy is a great store. Have visited lots of their branches around USA and got some great bargains. Good quality and great value. BUT the Robson St store needs to get its act together. Was here last year and the fitting rooms for men upstairs closed. Only two 'quick' change curtained areas in the middle of the floor available - in the centre of the kids section. Today I visited again and the same thing. Really hard to try on trousers in a circular curtain area with people all around - and that was only when I finally got the chance as the store was busy and the two spaces in demand. Come on Old Navy. Get the fitting rooms sorted. read more

This review is explicitly for the ignorant employee who UNLOCKED and OPENED the fitting room door upstairs in the KID'S section while my MINOR child was UNDRESSED. In doing so, he also banged the door on my head. He attempted to explain there was no tag on the door handle and they just switched attendants blah blah blah I don't care. A KNOCK ON THE DOOR is the literal UNIVERSAL way to check. Thankfully I was standing in front of the door to prevent any prying eyes or exposure of my child. He did apologize multiple times, but I'm still mad at the thoughtlessness of his actions, especially in the KID'S section! This better serve as a lesson to him and all the other employees, KNOCK AND TALK before you ever unlock and open a dressing room door again!!!!! read more

This is definitely one of the better Old Navy stores I had been to. Recently my kid and I visited town for the Rock and Roll Marathon and we decided to do some exploring downtown one day, and we ended up window shopping along Robson which, apparently, is a major shopping artery. We ended up in this huge Old Navy, attracted by the work-out apparel on display. I needed some layers for the marathon as I am cold ALL the time, so we popped inside. My kid hates shopping for clothes, but even she had a great experience here, finding many chunky knit sweaters and a super winter plaid vest, all at very reasonable prices. I found warm athletic tops and runner's cowls and gloves to stay warm. The dressing rooms were super roomy, too. Bonus! Of course, in line for the cash, we also found earbuds and phone chargers and cute gloves and other tchatchkies my kid couldn't resist. And there was a decent selection of Vancouver-themed t-shirts by the cashiers, too. read more

I really hate the clothes they sell here. I only shop here for baby clothes ( for my friends that is. ! ) The baby clothing they have us actually pretty cute. With cheeky lil sayings on them. The prices are good too. I got some boys t-shirts for 3$ each and some baby onesies for 2/10$ which allows me to buy a number of items since kids grow out of clothes quickly. The store itself at this location is brand new. It is on 2 levels. The baby $ kids stuff was on the top floor . I only knew this because there was a nice staff member at the entrance. I was glad I asked because I had not been in here before. The line up went fairly quickly. It was posted at the til that you can save 20% on your next purchase by signing up for emails. I can't say much about anything else as I didn't wander around anywhere else. I'll be back for more baby stuff - after I sign up for that 20% off ! read more

Are you in dire need to be surrounded by complete chaos? This old navy is the store for you! Came here to find clothes for my daughter. Walked in and it was obvious the store was too small for the inventory and customers. Clothes so tightly packed into the racks that you can't shuffle through them to look for specific sizes. Piles and piles of clothes on the floor because the shelves are full. Customers sitting on the stairway because shopping is hard work and since the shelves are full the only place to set your ass down is in the walk way of others. Makes total sense. As I make my way up the shopper infested stairs I come to the children's department. Hooray! So if anyone who has kids would know. Kids clothes, specifically toddler and infant sized clothes somehow multiply in comparison to adult size clothing. So the description I gave in regards to the main floor with crowded racks and shelves, imagine a nuclear bomb going off and that's the result for the toddler section. It's like boxing day came early and a death match took place moments prior to me arriving. Clothes on the ground. Shirts, sweaters, leggings etc crumpled up and shoved anywhere it would fit. It was amazing. After the initial shock of seeing a toddler clothing hoarders paradise, I begin to shop. I stop and ask the dude folding clothes (in a half assed manner) and say... "Is this on sale too?" and point up to items hanging up above us. His response... "hmm, what? Oh, uh well those are on sale. (pointing to something completely different)" No shit Sherlock. But I didn't ask about the item hanging next to it. Jesus Christ. Okay, deep breath and move on. I walk to another part of the toddler clothes and start looking there. A woman trails behind a employee looking for an item. The employee... "Yeah, we have leggings here" and shows her the pile of clothes that represented (at some point) a neatly folded stack of clothes. The old navy employee starts rummaging around and after 30 seconds says "We'll, it would be here". The lady said thanks and walks off. Now from the corner of my eye I can see everything. The ON worker begins to make the pile look orderly but only after less than a minute of trying, the look on her face translates to "Holy shit, that's a shit ton of leggings" followed by her carefully shoving the unfolded pile further and further underneath the shelf. As if no one would notice that the tropical clothing storm that hit old navy didn't happen. But I see you. So let's reset for a minute. My review isn't to say that Old Navy hired a bunch of lazy people. What I think had happened here is that The Gap corporate headquarters in San Francisco has absolutely no idea what's going on in their store in Vancouver. First, they need to figure out a way for their employees to keep up with their inventory. Either hire more people or store that shit in the backroom and not put everything out all at once like a free for all. Secondly, HQ desperately needs to train or retrain the people they hired so they don't come off like they're at derp level 11. Store location: 5 Inventory: 5 Presentation: 1 Employee skill level: 3 Overall rating: 3.5.... But rounding down cause the place is a death trap of bodies and inventory. P.S. Old Navy - Looks like a hurricane struck - Men's Clothing Near Me - Vancouver, British Columbia

This is a fabulous new Old Navy location, with very good selection and genuinely helpful and friendly staff. It's the Boxing Week Sale, so I stopped in tonight to return something and see what I could snag for a really good deal. I shopped for myself, and also for my infant niece, and both the women's and infants/toddlers section had a wider variety of items and sizes, as compared with what I'm used to seeing at the Metrotown and Richmond Centre locations. I'm sure the sales are the same across all locations, but having a better selection and more sizes is a huge bonus when sale shopping since the challenge is generally to find the correct colour and size. I was even able to find my fave Diva jeans in not just my size, but "short," "boot cut," and "dark wash." Impressive ... Also, they were 50% off FTW. There are two levels in this store, accessible by both stairs and elevator, with the main floor and part of the upper floor for women's clothing, and men's, children's, babies', and maternity clothing making up the rest of the second floor. I don't usually check it carefully, but I think that the maternity section was significantly bigger than at the two above-mentioned locations that I usually frequent. The second floor changing rooms and checkout till were closed when I was there, but the first floor had plenty of both going on, as I was the next person for both change rooms and checkout. Washrooms are on the second floor, directly behind the elevators. WTG, Old Navy! A super-convenient location (at last!!), with selection, prices, and customer service close to what I'm used to seeing in the States. read more

Was able to find a lot of items for decent prices. Dressing room is clean and organized. Staff very friendly and helpful. For signing up for rewards I got $10 off. There were a lot of racks on discount. They do have a restroom upstairs and you have to take the elevator. Mens section is tiny and not many options. I would return to catch more deals. read more

It's been years since I shopped old navy, but this Vancouver store has won me back. Location is fantastic and I never leave without finding something good. Oh hey, if you're a tourist on the hunt for souvenirs, grab a cheap but cute Vancouver Tshirt here. They have Canada themed gear at old navy prices. Aka: they're realllly affordable. Don't miss the women's athletic gear on the first floor either. You can skip lulu lemon and grab nice workout gear here for a decent price. It can be a madhouse during peak times and the clothes end up in piles all over the place. But... Let's be honest with ourselves here and admit that that's more the fault of our crazy shopping fanatic friends who don't put things back where they came from. Mmmmkay? When I want a sweatshirt, some simple essentials like tees, leggings, pajamas or a toque - I have had the best luck finding them here. Being a new mom with giant boobs and not quite back at my "pre-baby weight" I sometimes find it difficult to buy clothes that fit me and make me feel good in my skin. This is why I LOVE Old Navy (I loved it in pregnancy too!). Their clothes are basic, neutral, and comfortable and designed to fit true to size which is so, so rare these days. I love that they offer most items in a variety of colours so if you love something you can grab multiples. The reason I chose to review this particular location is because I stopped in today and found the customer service excellent. The staff in the change rooms went above and beyond to grab me sizes and answer questions and the cash line up seemed long but then moved incredibly quickly. The store also seemed to be better staffed in terms of numbers than others I've visited especially considering it was midday/midweek. read more

The 4 stars aren't necessarily for the quality or stylishness of the clothes here, but it does have a few things going for it. 1. The customer service is surprisingly good at this location, especially if you compare it to similar stores like H&M. 2. The children's clothes are great and very affordable which is fantastic considering they grow out of their clothes so quickly. 3. Yelp.ca sucks. Yelp launched in Canada over five years ago, and it is still pretty mediocre. At least in Vancouver. How badly does it suck? Well, for one, Old Navy opened up at Robson and Granville a month and a half ago, and there is still no listing. Well there is now, now that I've created one. So on to Old Navy... It's a decent store in a great location for downtown shoppers. Prices are very cheap. In fact, I would guess that prices are quite close to Old Navy prices south of the border, though the sales (as in discounts) are probably much better in the States. Regardless, it's nice to have easy access to cheap fast fashion in downtown. I'm sure many of the English language students making up the bulk of afternoon pedestrian traffic on Robson St will love it as well. read more

I am not sure when Old Navy started hiring children with clown makeup as "Managers". The "Manager" Jayden, and I use the term "Manager" loosely, who looks to be 12 with a full face of clown makeup, has the worst customer service I have ever seen. He was basically useless and found his phone more entertaining than his job. I couldn't believe how someone like this would be in any sort of authoritative position. Someone should try retraining this kid or put him on the back burner until he gets a little older. I had a great experience last weekend at Old Navy. Now, I know that most would think that 16 year olds don't have a clue about customer service, but I met a young lady who could teach some older retail people a thing or two. She was great! Very attentive and friendly. So I got the jeans i wanted, and she made some suggestions for some accessories that were brilliant! My only regret is that I didn't get her name. read more

I no-shame love Old Navy, and this location is a particularly good one. With two floors, it's big, and well-organized. Weekends can get busy (as expected, right downtown), but weeknights are awesome - you can breeze right through, and they've got a good number of fitting rooms (both floors if there's a big line downstairs :). There are usually some good deals to be found in the clearance "corner," and I love the big selection of workout clothes too. If you can't find what you need and order online, it's easy to do returns as well - the lines move quickly at checkout, and the staff are pleasant and helpful. read more

Because it is a bigger location, it means better and bigger selection. The fashions are neutral enough that I can get away with wearing these anywhere while at the same time making it my own. Prices are decent for what it is. They even have shuttle rides from certain locations that take you right to Old Navy. Cheap fast buys are here. They take 5 weeks to issue a refund and they'll mysteriously "lose" your package if you don't have the tracking number. So desperate that they'll steal from you! my order number tn4w2s2 and i have received several emails. For a long time, I've avoided Old Navy because of their low end clothing. In December, I wandered in during their hyper sales. I've picked up a few shirts because they fit. Since then, they have run sales on almost everything in the men's department up to this March. The brand is going downhill to the point where they are competing with Walmart. They should learn from Simons and Uniglo. Hire some outside designers to add spice. read more
