We even met folks later into the evening who knew the bartenders--and got some confirmation on their uniqueness. The biggest downside? Cowboys memorabilia on the walls. Vomit. Truly unfortunate. We wanted to check out the nightlife and ended up driving quite a ways to get to this spot. It's located at the shops of Wailea, in a very trendy expensive area. In the day time it's the Fire Dragon & Orient Restaurant or Designs building, so I assume it's a restaurant or something or other during the day. At night you can hear the music pumping from here, and no one smokes inside. It just so happens that it was 80's night, which was unfortunate because I'd rather have been dancing to hip hop that night. It was a crazy place! There were girls dancing in their leg warmers wearing all kinds of 80's gear, and there was this one chick who was dancing like a stripper with anyone who was dancing with her. I guess these Hawaiians sure know how to have a good time! I didn't drink since I'd be driving us back in our little convertible. I didn't see any waitreses, so you'd have to be fighting to get a drink at the bar. It was fun. I'd like to go back on a different night though to see what type of music they normally have there.
