The pizza was excellent, and the drinks were generously poured--definitely a nice bonus. The service matched the quality of the food and drinks, which made the whole experience even better. The live music added a great vibe, and it was the perfect way to wrap up our Maui trip. Highly recommend stopping by.

Nice servers and strong drinks but food was so-so. Salsa with the chips and salsa looked and taste like tomato paste out of a can. However Mai tai was delicious. Their happy hour goes until 6pm with many others ending at 5pm.

This place rocks! Been in Maui for almost week and finally found a great tiki bar! The bartenders and service staff are super nice and friendly, the tiki drinks are outstanding, best pina colada I've had, the to top it off the pizza here is excellent. The pizza is thin, crispy and super flavorful. We had the Thai fusion pizza and it was excellent. The staff here get it and if you're looking for a great tiki bar, this is it. I can't wait to go back at least one more time before we leave.

Decided to stop by after a tour guide told us some of his favorite cocktails were at this place. There seemed to be a nice mix of tourists and regular locals. We went at dinner time, and it was steadily busy. We just sat at the bar for cocktails. The bartender really nice, and he was super honest that many cocktails were really sweet. We of course had to try the mai tai first. I would say maybe the second best one I had during our trip to Maui. We left after a couple drinks to walk around and check out other places, but found ourselves back there at the end of the night. A DJ was out on the patio and everyone was dancing. It was a good mix of music, including some 90s and 2000s, so we had a great time. Love that this place is a fun dinner spot with good island vibes, but then also turns it up a notch later on weekends if you want to partake. If I get to go back, I will definitely try the food next time. We heard good things about it. I did leave my credit card sitting there after paying, but luckily they had it the next day. They of course asked for my ID before giving it back, and were super understanding about it.

Great atmosphere! Live music Wednesday night at 5:25 pm... January 21, 2026. What a Fun drink place. Not necessarily a place to "eat" albeit if you've followed me for a while you'll know what I like. Service was okay. Waited 10 minutes before she came. Talked to the neighbors and still didn't have anybody come. We did order a Casamigos Anejo tequila.. they're not super attentive. We met people from the main island.. and that way cool to hear their review. It's a bar.. in and out.. albeit how do not enjoy this?!! Just delightful. It's noting fancy. If you know.. you know! Have a great drink!

Stopped by to enjoy some drinks on a Saturday night. The place was buzzing with folks and they were converting the patio seating into a club for folks to dance. We got out drinks - Mai Tai and a Lychee Martini and the waiter warned us that the drinks are supposedly strong but they were normal. Liked both our drinks but the server rushed us into placing the order and seemed like wanted us to close the tab so she could attend to other customers. Plenty parking outside the lounge. Overall a good place to grab a drink service can be tricky.

This tiki bar is literally our fav spot in Kihei. Strong drinks, GREAT food, fast service and delightful atmosphere. We had Sara as our waitress twice and she knows what she's doing. Her memory is impeccable as she remembered our entire detailed order without writing anything down and while having like a dozen other tables. My kids LOVE the food too (which is hard to do).

Tiki Lounge is a charming little dive bar with a cozy atmosphere, offering live music on select evenings and a delightful selection of food and cocktails. It seems that there isn't much nightlife on the island, so after reading numerous reviews, it became clear that this is the place to be. I arrived early, before the fun truly began, just to try the pizza. One of the great things about Tiki Lounge is that they let you do half-and-half pizzas, which is a nice touch. Their pizza has eight slices, large enough to share. I went for half No Kai Oi and the other half Jungle Pie. Both pizzas feature a white sauce, which was perfect as the person I was sharing with can't eat tomatoes. It was so nice to have that option. The staff was friendly, though understandably busy, but they still made sure to check in on us when they could. I also ordered a piña colada, and let me tell you, it was strong! I'm sure some people would love that, but next time, I'll definitely ask for less strength.

Beyond satisfactory pizza, customer service, and cocktails! Awesome spot for dinner in Kihei.

The alcoholic drinks were not good, but I loved the POG juice. There is an artificial syrup taste to the drinks and the alcohol used tasted very cheap. It was well priced though. The staff are super friendly and service was great! the lounge is located in a plaza with a ton of things to do. Parking was somewhat easy to find. The lounge has live music after 830 if that is something you are interested in.

The closest thing to the club in Maui. This was one of the few places that was still open after 10pm. We ended up walking here since it was close to where we were staying. We didn't try any of the food since we weren't hungry. We did enjoyed our pina colada. There's a dance floor outside and around 11pm, it was packed with people. No drinks on the dance floor though. They had pretty good music and it was a lot of fun. Met a few friendly people. We were one of the few people that weren't locals there. Worth checking out for a little night life while in Maui.

The service was very good but the drinks were just okay. When Google recommends a place it doesn't always ring true.

The staff was extremely friendly, our food and drinks came out quickly, and always with a smile. Everything we tried was high‑quality and clearly made with care. Their happy hour menu is surprisingly robust. Drinks The Tropical Mai Tai was a standout. The flavor really popped without being overly strong, just a genuinely great drink. The Rum Cannonball was delicious as well, with a bright pineapple flavor that's perfect for a hot day on the patio. They do have a nice selection of local beers on tap. Food The Kalua Pork Sliders were the highlight. The pork paired beautifully with the curry slaw, so many layers of flavor, and the toasted roll was a perfect finishing touch. The Mini Poke Bowl was fresh and vibrant. Adding avocado really elevated it, and the sesame brought a nice depth of flavor. The Onion Dip was a fun surprise. Loved hearing the story behind it, they once over‑ordered onions and created this dip, which has since become a best seller. It's easy to see why. Finally, the Ahi Slider was excellent. The ahi was high‑quality and seared perfectly, and again, the toasted bun made a big difference. The sesame oil added a great finishing note. If you're in Wailea, this place is absolutely worth a stop!

The outdoor seating is refreshingly simple, but once you step inside, it's pure vibe. There's a thoughtful design touch to everything--from the mid-century glassware to the way each drink seems to have its own personality. They're not just slinging cocktails here; they're crafting an experience. I ordered the VOG CUTTER--Pisco, watermelon, lemon, absinthe, cubeb bitters--and it came topped with a pickled watermelon garnish. I'm usually not an absinthe fan, but this drink was perfectly balanced, bright and herbal with just enough edge. It landed squarely in the "perfect cocktail" category for me. My partner had the Velvet Elvis and was equally impressed. We both kept commenting on how varied and intentional the drinkware was--punch cups, tea glasses, you name it. It makes everything feel more special. The bartender was sharp, friendly, and clearly knew the menu inside and out--eager to help guide us through the options and talk about the thought behind each drink. At one point, a child wandered in by mistake (Esters is 21+ due to its bar zoning), and the bartender gently asked them to leave--but not before handing over a vanilla wafer as a parting gift. One of my favorite touches? The name. There's actually a thoughtful explanation printed right on the menu: "Esters are natural compounds that are created through chemical reactions during fermentation. Esters give a diverse range of aromas and flavors to rum." It's a subtle homage to the science of spirits--and it fits perfectly with the experience Esters delivers. If you're looking for a cocktail bar that hits on every level--drinks, vibe, service--Esters Fair Prospect is the move.
