We called Integrity Auto and spoke with Gavin who couldn't have been nicer and empathetic to our situation. He navigated us to a rental car company at the nearby airport, a taxi company to pick me up to get the rental and my husband went with the tow truck to Integrity Auto. They happily took in our Land Rover and worked with our mechanic back in Illinois to help diagnose the issue. They held our car overnight, gave us report of what it was and charged us a very, VERY generous amount to only inspect the car. Not that I hope to break down again in Michigan, but we were lucky to have found Gavin and Integrity Auto. They are knowledgeable, friendly and honest. If you need help with your vehicle, feel good about choosing them to service your car!

I had two unfortunate situations in the last couple of weeks with different vehicles. The first was…read moremy own car broke down in downtown Iron Mountain at 11:30 at night. My car could not be towed and needed to be flat bedded to a local body/repair shop. Wade Edward's was on the scene 10 minutes after receiving my roadside assistance call. The second occurrence was with the rental car I had to replace my car, which had a tire blow out. After waiting in the phone for almost a hour and a half with the rental company's roadside assistance, never speaking to a human being, I decided to hang up and just call Wade. Once again, Wade came out to give to change my tire within 15 minutes of my call. He was great to work with in both instances. The first night, he took the time to help me and my dog, who was riding with me in my car, get to our local destination by around midnight. As for the tire blow out, when he realized it was on a rental and that I would be responsible for the repairs, he invited me to come into his dealership to have his team see if the tire could be repaired at no charge. Unfortunately, I ended up needing to replace a rental car tire but his staff took great care of me. Awesome experience. While I'm not certain of this, I suspect they gave me the "Friends and Family" discount. I really appreciate all his and his team's help. I'm a long way from home and it was nice to meet some people who are just good people and cared about me/us. If I was in the market for a new car, I would be very confident in giving him and Edward's Automotive my business. Maybe I will anyway.

Needless to say after multiple calls found most shops closed or totally booked. After reaching out to Jacobson and booking an appt we had a call back with a appt opening for us to get it in right away Tuesday. Wednesday we got a call w the verdict of necessary parts and repairs...new tranny ordered and by Friday afternoon Truck was ready for pick up and total cost came in under estimate. This team went above and beyond with their communications in the first place but today...weeks later we get a call asking how the truck was running! I call the closest chevy dealer that turned out to be Lindwall in Iron River, MI. It's Saturday and they are closing in one hour. I cannot possibly tell how great they were to me. The service manager told me he would do everything he could to fix my problem despite all the mechanics being gone for the holiday. Turned out, a mechanic was willing to come in and help me. I arrived with only 10 minutes before closing. The mechanic figured out the problem quickly, fixed it and had me back on the road in 20 minutes. They were so kind they were even refusing to charge me. I of course paid them something. The mechanic even gave me his home number in case my truck acted up again and I needed help when the business was closed. This dealership is unbelievable. Although I live 200 miles away in another state, I'm seriously thinking about buying my next suburban from them. So impressed....and trust me, I'm a pretty tough judge of people!
