I went in today with my wife looking around after we had gone to a few other similar stores. we were both very impressed. I was looking for a Mac Miller T shirt for my son, a very difficult find. No we did not find one but we did stay in the store for a good long time checking everything out. A wide and varied selection is offered. This place is a gem and should not be overlooked. I've been here twice. It's my second time at Old School. This is carefully curating your perfect capsule wardrobe tailored to your specific goals and needs and reasonable prices.( You will have fun if you like chic 60s - 80s -- I promise!). I prefer these kinds of thrift stores rather than Crossroads. There's no doubt that San Pedro has been gentrified though, still a beautiful, tiny, sleepy town and it still has that charm of a major national/ international port city. This town used to be a blue color, working class community. Construction on the much-anticipated new San Pedro waterfront complex is slated to begin this summer of 2023. If you've been to Williamsburg, Brooklyn where the hipsters take over since 2019. They love going into the neighborhoods because they know the apartments are cheap, but once they move in, suddenly the rents shoot up to $4,500, no doorman downstairs either, but all locals are kicked out. I hope it would never happen to San Pedro. I'd love to see San Pedro locals to have a better life. Shop locals, and support the port community. What this store offers is a wide variety of all kind of vintage clothing and a bunch of other stuff: records, purses, cowboy boots, you name it. They really have a lot of stuff! The clothing and other items offered here are all high quality. They obviously focus on presenting their customers with the best of what the vintage market has to offer. Picked up a holy grail jacket and honestly what more could a girl want except that I also dropped my wallet like a dunce in there and the owner double o zeroed me on the Internet and I got it back same night... idk about you but that's what I call service with a smile lol. There are lots of great vintage shops in the LV Arts District but this one stands out as having an amazing selection of items with reasonable prices. I fell in love with a 1970's winter coat and as i was trying it on, one of the original buttons popped off. The owners were super kind and examined the state of all the buttons and determined that a modest discount could be applied to price. That was enough for me. I wanted this coat but more importantly I wanted to support these small business owners who were warm, friendly and super chill. I have already planned my next trip to Vegas and this shop is on the top of my list to come back to. read more

First time here today 2.10.23 Located in a beautiful busy area of San Pedro, surrounded by shops, restaurants and many more. The moment we stepped in, I was like Wow!!!! Is this heaven lol. Seriously, this place has so much vintage and retro stuff, from shirts, jackets, pants, sweaters, overall, bags and many more. And I prefer vintage clothing than modern clothing ,they are better made in my opinion and definitely unique, and the styles oh so cool it rocks!!! While we were scouring the whole entire store , it dawned me to check the parking meter and the guy who was there was so nice. He offered to put coins in the meter since we are shoppers, how awesome is that or he??!!! Right?? He was very helpful. So friendly and funny too, he makes shopping fun, we might have gotten carried away total for both was at least 250.00 ...worth it!!! I'm definitely going back, one of the item I had to return a bit much, but thinking about it now. A Goodyear yellow jacket 125.00 ...priceless !!! This is highly recommended! Great owners who know what's what and the place is stocked with clothing that you won't find anywhere else (or, if you found something like it of this quality in, say, Santa Monica or Venice, etc, it would cost at least twice as much). Also, the place has a terrific selection of vinyl, odd signs, even some good-crazy books. ran across this cool shop after getting done eating dinner just up the street. was walking my mom to her car and my gf's eyes were drawn in by the lights. so glad they were cause i was so amazed by the wide selection at this shop. every single clothing item is unique and there isn't another one in the shop you can find like it. there are no copy cat items you'll definitely not have to worry about someone else finding the same item as you or at least not easily. i ended up with a super well taken care of anaheim ducks jersey that i was so appreciative i found. i will definitely be coming back here in a few days. i hope other people find this hidden jem that annie has created. i appreciate steve for the real conversation just before we were checking out while annie was hard at work with sorting her stuff. can't wait to come back. read more
