I've sold items here twice and you're basically getting ripped off. I understand they need to make money, but it's just a really bad deal if you are a seller. What makes it worse is if you have brand new items to sell, they still price it too low and you're practically giving it away at that point. I had some brand new Zara items with the price tags attached, a leather Ibrahim bag, spanking new Jeffrey Campbell leather heels that I never wore and a very detailed quilted dress from Anthro that I only wore once. For all of these items and more I was only given $119 and that's just ridiculous! Basically, if you're a seller, you are literally maybe getting at the very most about $8 to $15 per item, if that and it's a joke. Everybody knows that going out to dinner costs about $100 these days, so with $100 you can't really do much. I personally would not recommend selling your very high price luxury items at Alt Rebel.

Turns out, the owner used to run an art gallery and brought that modern art touch into the store. Here you won't find outdated grandma clothes, the boutique is full of modern high end clothing, bags and unique vintage pieces like Versace and Gucci. I really enjoyed browsing in the store. I'm glad I was told about it. The second I walked in, Erin (the owner), came out to greet me. I was just browsing to see what she had to offer and I ended up leaving with a couple of purchases. I continue to go back (I've followed her to Container Park) for a few reasons. First, her customer service is AMAZING. She doesn't haggle you, she doesn't follow you around the store bugging you...she lets you shop. Second, she is great at dressing you!! I've gone in for something she posts on her Instagram and she'll give me a few extra things to try on. I'll end up leaving with what she suggests instead of what I went in for - because she's THAT GOOD!! And finally, I return because her prices are fair. You know all of these store mark up to make a profit....no biggie, as a consumer we expect it. However, you know when you are being taken for a ride and I've never felt like I've over paid at Vintage NV.
