The metal top was dented and bent, which customer service blamed on the carrier company, after asking me to email pictures of the damaged item to customer service, which I did. BTW-The box was in good shape when it arrived. The fact that the fire pit table was previously used was NOT addressed and was obviously NOT a shipping issue, yet I still couldn't get a replacement. (I know it was returned and resold because the area that holds the lava rock was obviously dirty and lava rock dust was packed into the screws near the fire area.) I asked for a replacement top to be shipped or a portion of my purchase price be refunded or credited to my BB&B account. I was told I had to return the whole table as a replacement part was not an option. I agreed to a full replacement of the table but was then told that the item was out of stock and a replacement was not an option. Keep the set w/ the damaged piece or a refund, IF they see fit once I ship the large damaged item back. No thanks- I'll keep it and tell everyone who sees it, how BB&B wouldn't credit my account for the $200 damaged piece they resold to me. BTW - the whole outdoor patio set cost $1,400.
